We had a small yard and so the deck would have been small, and we worried about companies not wanting to take a small job on like ours. Bodden came out the very next day after we called. They were professional and kind, and we felt that they truly listened to our needs and our hopes for what the deck would look like. Their prices were fair, they were quick to get us a proposal, and they even offered suggestions on how to maximize the space. We ended up selling our house rather unexpectedly, and so we weren't able to use them, but we plan to use Bodden for all of our home renovations in our new house. Their kindness, professionalism, and knowledge of work did not go unnoticed.

We signed a contract with Absolute in January of 2022 and paid a 50% deposit upfront. He told us…read moreour start date would likely be end of July or August 2022. By March of 2023, after months of no communication we reached out and he could still not give us an estimate of when he would be able to start our deck. (He works alone so each deck takes him a very long time). At that point, after over a year of waiting patiently we asked for a refund and were told that it would be mailed. It has now been 7 months since our refund request and we are still awaiting the return of our deposit. To add insult to injury Rob has spent the last month ignoring our emails and a certified letter. We've spent the better part of a year attempting to resolve this privately and amicably without making this public but he has left us no choice. TL/DR. He severely misled us with the timeline and has refused to give us our deposit back.

I thought their prices were more than fair, and being a contractor myself helps me feel confident in saying so. I challenge anyone to try and find better pricing for a licensed contractor....I will wait

We would like to start by saying THANK YOU to everyone at Cityline for their incredible response to…read moreour fire we had on President's Day, 2021. It was on this day that Cityline guaranteed us that they will support our restoration project with commitment, professionalism, and thought from beginning to end. An hour after the last firefighter left our house and our insurance company was called, a representative from Cityline reached out to set up an appointment to begin our restoration. The response was fast and amazing. That evening equipment began to arrive. The following morning an entire work crew arrived and began the clean-up. In addition, Dana was appointed as our project manager and took away every worry we had by taking complete control of all scheduling. Tom Williams, the owner, arrived as well to ensure all work will be done with the upmost professionalism and promptness. He was RIGHT! For the next several weeks, Cityline did not miss a day during the entire restoration project. Their dedicated employees cleaned/scrubbed every inch of our house, while the construction crews constructed, patched, and painted with a high level of skill. They were also extremely respectful of our living space and time throughout the entire process. We have worked with many contractors throughout the years on our farmhouse, but none have been so committed to providing an all-around positive experience than Cityline. We can't thank Tom, Dana, the many Cityline workers, and outside chimney contractors enough. Rick and Nanci K.

I could not get anyone to help us in our immediate area. I reached out to Cityline 65 miles away from our home. A couple of days later the owner personally came to see the damage. They started work as soon as they could to remove over 9,000 pounds of stuff from our basement and start the first floor. They were here everyday with up to 12 people working. 59 days later, they finished. The team did an amazing job. The basement looks great and the first floor is beautiful. Thank you to Russell, my team leader and the rest of the fantastic team as well as Dana, Ed and of course Tom Williams. These are people you can trust with your most important asset - your home.

TLDR: They're the best. Save yourself some hassle and hire them now…read more I'm a tough customer. I like to work on my house myself and when I have to hire pros I tend to always think I could have done the work better myself, sometimes rightly sometimes wrongly. Anyway, i'm not that easy to please. Degruchy did a fantastic job on a not that straightforeward project for my house. Some cosmetic stuff, some structural stuff, in a few different areas, just about a year ago. Andy, the owner, clearly knows and understands the business, so when you get a quote, it is probably well judged and you can bet it's fair. Dave, who was the lead guy on site, was there every day and is like the ideal employee for a contracting company: decades of experience, personable, responsible, responsive, helpful, flexible, conscientious, and dedicated to the craft. Harrison, the more junior guy, still has a good amount of experience in the field and is well on his way to becoming a master himself. An ideal #2. Having a master and apprentice take on the job was like something out of another age. If you quote your next masonry job, Andy may not be the cheapest, and if your job doesn't particularly require skill or a practiced hand and eye, maybe you can afford to go with someone else. But I'd pay a premium for Degruchy just to have the certainty that I was getting the best and to not have to worry about a thing. This is the best review I've ever written and it's well deserved.
