Walter then shows up in 45 minutes later with the clipboard in his hand to give me an estimate! Guy had no recollection of being in my house or giving me a bid, completely unprofessional and not really sure what is wrong with this company or Walter! Tyler is very knowledgeable, and gave an honest assessment of what needed to be done. He is very thorough and meticulous as he also discovered a water leak around the powder room toilet, with damaged sub flooring which he replaced. He also had to unexpectedly treat some unknown mold. He then detected some slight warping in the new flooring shortly after they began laying it. He dealt with the flooring company even when they initially said it was fine. He insisted it was defective and proved this to them through photos and an on-site visit. He had all the new flooring replaced with a different option and the job was completed as quickly as possible. He was always very conscientious about keeping our home clean, safe, and "livable" during the project knowing we have 2 toddlers and 3 dogs in the house. Have nothing but great things to say about him and his assistants. Would recommend his company to anyone!

He won the job due to his offer to do that. I got home yesterday and was surprised to see him there and that he was halfway finished with the job. NOTHING was covered, and the smell of bleach was everywhere, including inside my house. My throat burned from it! My herb garden was completely exposed and bathed in these chemicals! All the rest of the gardens were fully exposed as well!!! I am livid he used these chemicals around my food and completely contaminated them! His excuse? He showed me the plastic he got for the job sitting inside his truck. He claims there was no wind so he didn't think he needed it. Said he knocked on my door but I wasn't home, so he thought it was OK to not use the plastic covers. Yet he didn't call or text me to check if I was OK with that. Why??? Because he knew I would not be! I spent an extensive amount of time discussing with him my concern about my garden's safety and about any chemicals getting on them. This is food I grow to eat, and do it so that I have no chemicals touching them. I also made it clear to him that he won the job due to the fact that he was going to cover those plants. He did not use the plastic because he thought he could get away with getting things done faster since I was not at home. He thought he could get away with it and I would never know the difference! The first night after they installed the french drain system and new pit, the sump pump started mal-functioning. The workers came back the next day to finish the job and told us that the floater was sticking and that we may need a new sump pump. Mike tried to scare us into buying a new sump pump for $450. Knowing that we could go buy a perfectly good sump pump for less than $200 at Home Depot, we said no. They "finished" the job and we paid Mike in cash. Well, the next day our sump pump failed again and caused water to seep up onto our basement floor. We called Mike to ask him to come repair the sump pump that his workers had carelessly broken. He told us that there was nothing that he could do and that they don't fix sump pumps and that's why we should have bought a new one yesterday. Furthermore, he didn't offer any sort of remediation. Immensely frustrated after spending all that money, still having a wet basement, and getting no assistance from the company, my husband went to take a look at the sump pump himself. Low and behold, he found little pieces of plastic in the pit that the workers left in there. He removed all the pieces and ever since the sump pump has been working like new. We truly felt like they were sabotaging our sump pump on purpose to scam us for more money. Even if this was not the case, it was still negligence on their part. Furthermore, Mike who claims that he oversees everything only showed up on the last day in order to get paid and never bothered to inspect the quality of work. Overall, even though our basement is dry, the customer service and accountability were lousy. I would not recommend this company to any of my friends or family members.
