Snyder Roofing and Siding, Kutztown, PA rescued our home! Two weeks ago we learned about a soft…read morespot in our roof from our chimney sweep. We asked around for a local roofer and received recommendations from 3 different people for Snyder Roofing. We called, and Rick returned our called that afternoon and happened to be in our area, so he stopped by. Called the next day with a verbal estimate. Rick was very open and honest regarding our roof problem and the fact that there may be some hidden issues due to the roof age, etc. He made us feel very comfortable with his repair ideas and processes. We signed a contract 2 days later (Sunday). Rick, his son Mitchel, and a work crew of 5 arrived promptly Tuesday morning. The job was complete by noon Wednesday. The company moto, "We will put the same quality into your roof as if it were our own home", is absolutely true. Rick and Mitchell kept us informed continuously throughout the project! Cleanup was extensive. There was no trace of dirt or damaged plantings. We can't say enough about the quality, and professionalism of this company. thank you Rick, Mitchell and Snyder Roofing & Siding!

I rarely write reviews, but when considering a roofer and the cost involved, I think sharing my…read moreexperience will really help others. Rick and Mitchell (the owners) couldn't have made the experience better. Very professional and extremely knowledgeable, I never felt for a second that they were giving me the "hard sell". In fact, I got the impression that their integrity and reputation was more important to them then anything else. After speaking with several of their previous clients, my wife and I decided to go with Snyder and selected the Timberline line of GAF for the shingles. Since Snyder is a certified GAF installer, it came with a lifetime warranty. Their team worked non-stop from the moment they arrived to the moment they left each day. Neat and professional, they protected the house and cleaned up the yard everyday. We have a large roof (over 7K sq ft). They knocked it out in less then 5 days. We couldn't be happier with the finished product or the service that we received.

Recently had a kitchen cabinet repaired, and flooring replaced in most of our downstairs after…read morebeing damaged from an unknown water leak from our dishwasher. Tyler is very knowledgeable, and gave an honest assessment of what needed to be done. He is very thorough and meticulous as he also discovered a water leak around the powder room toilet, with damaged sub flooring which he replaced. He also had to unexpectedly treat some unknown mold. He then detected some slight warping in the new flooring shortly after they began laying it. He dealt with the flooring company even when they initially said it was fine. He insisted it was defective and proved this to them through photos and an on-site visit. He had all the new flooring replaced with a different option and the job was completed as quickly as possible. He was always very conscientious about keeping our home clean, safe, and "livable" during the project knowing we have 2 toddlers and 3 dogs in the house. Have nothing but great things to say about him and his assistants. Would recommend his company to anyone!

I had a problem understanding an estimate from another plumber and wanted to get a second opinion…read more Scott came out and did a thorough examination of my original 15 year old heating and cooling equipment. It turns out that work estimate given to me by the other plumbing company was way over exaggerated. I'm glad that my apprehension was well deserved. A short time later,my water heater started leaking,so this time I went with Scott Fick. They were on time and gave me an accurate repair order after checking to make sure that the water heater I had was still under warranty. They did a thorough job of replacing the old water heater and fixing under plumbing issue that I was not aware of. In short, this company was professional and did a great job completing the work as estimated! It's nice to have honest businesses like Scott Fick in my area!

Kline's repaired our sewer four years ago. At the time I was happy with the service because, let's…read moreface it, the sewer now worked. In May our sewer collapsed again. This time I used Cocalico plumbing because I had used them recently. When the sewer was excavated this time, it was found that Kline's had used the old terra cotta pipes that were there instead of replacing them with PVC. The terra cotta joints were coming apart and where they connected the PVC to the old terra cotta, a corner of it had broken off. I called Klines and talked to James Frizzell, the plumbing manager and sent him several pictures of the damage. He said the work only carries a one year warranty (one year warranty on sewer pipes?) but that I should get back in touch after this work was finished and he would "work with me". After the work was finished I called and emailed him hoping to get some kind of compensation for their poor work. He's answer was they wouldn't do anything about it since the one year warranty had run out and that the Borough had signed off on the work when they did it four years ago. While this is true, knowing they did a poor job and that I was now having to have their work re-done at an expensive cost to me, I was hoping he would "work with me" and give me some type of refund. As a result I will never use Kline's again and will encourage anyone to go with a company that will stand behind their work.

Before they started we asked B&E for addresses of houses with the roof colors we were considering and they emailed the next day with several local homes with those roof colors. That attention to detail and customer care helped us so much, as you can only guess what the roof color will be on your house based on some small samples! They truly went above and beyond - working 14 hour days to get the roof on and watertight before a big storm forecast for the next day. The foreman came the next morning to do finishing touches, including painting the vent pipes Charcoal to match our new roof! They found some unexpected damage to our copper roofing and had a coppersmith out the same day to repair it. He also fashioned a new copper cap for the cupola where the copper had deteriorated - also unexpected. Turned out to be a tornado warning storm With tons of rain and the roof held up great!
