I…read morebooked a simple appointment for new tires, balance and alignment. took them 8 hours, they came out just before closing to tell me they don't have the cone to balance tires on a Toyota then billed me a higher rate than I got quoted on their website, and sent me home with a poorly balanced tire set that shook the steering wheel. My car is now undriveable. it's been a full week, I've called the store and corporate office a dozen times. They have not offered a solution or refund. what should've been a 1-2 hour tire change turned into me not being able to drive my vehicle for over a week. I have a case opened with corporate office, all they can do is tell me somebody will call me back. nobody does. Do not under any circumstance get any service from Pep Boys.

After hours of trying to find a replacement Tim made a tire to safely get us to his shop. His men took us back roads so as to keep us safe on the drive over there. His team changed the other tire so that the new tire would match for obvious reasons. We were probably in and out within an hour and the charges were beyond reasonable for all the service they provided. About Three months ago, I made an appointment on the Firestone website for an oil change. When I…read morewalked in, I saw a kid leaning on the counter, and his name was Thomas. He looked very unhappy that I had walked through the door. I explained I had an appointment to get an oil change and he leaned in towards me and stated very matter of fact, " not at my place you don't". Flustered I pulled out my phone thinking I got the appointment time wrong. As I was looking through my email confirmation to show him, he explained," we are closing in a half hour and if you think we are doing an oil check on your Car 30 minutes before we close, ... You're wrong" I showed him the confirmation email that I did in fact, have an appointment. His exact words to me were." not trying to be a di*k, but it ain't happening tonight. I don't care if you have a confirmation or not. You don't walk into an establishment, 30 minutes before closing, and say you have an oil change that needs done. Doesn't matter to me when you come back, but you're not getting it done tonight." I explained that we had been loyal customers for almost 9 years with Firestone and he may want to let corporate know that the website permits appointments all the way up until 30 minutes before closing, and that they would be losing a loyal customer. He laughed. He informed me that they did not have any corporate. When I asked to speak to a manager, he snuggly looked at me and leaned in stated that they do not have a manager for me to speak to. I've never been treated so badly at a place... I will never step foot in this Firestone or any other Nine years of being a loyal customer at this Firestone is done as of that day, threemonths ago.

I was told that they did not appreciate people that did not buy tires from them, this guy was very unprofessional in his manner, he ask me for my phone number and I guess he didn't hear me and instead of asking me again, he just pointed to his ear. I said just forget it and walked out. I'v been going to this place for years before and after I retired from the US Army. (July 22, 2025)

Midas robs there customers they over charge every one and they make u put parts on that u don't…read moreneed they Purposely Fails cars and they don't know how to Diagnose cars they can't barely change oil there and they r making their customers pay dealer ship prices for after market parts they ain't even putting on oem approved parts and for the parts they putting on cars u can go the the part store and get the same part for half the price that midas charges u can and get all the same parts they use right from auto zone and all the parts that midas gets from auto zone they r marking the parts up by 80% to 85% and that's not even Including labor they mark up the labor rate like no other.....
