i had a very different experience with David Grey. i asked for help trying to find the whip cream, David helped me find the whipped cream but made odd comments during my interaction. he said inappropriate comments about my body and what i was going to do with the whipped cream. then he proceeded to ask if i wanted to go back to his vehicle with me. i won't be going back to that location. read more

I've started coming to the Washington Sams for gas and curbside pickup. The gas station is away from the parking lot which greatly reduces the hectic driving of the parking space seekers. What is it with some Sam's Clubs? Many of them seem really on top of everything and some don't seem to care. I tried to find this one last year, but the directions had me all over the place. Getting into the store wasn't a bit deal, although I had to dodge a cart or two. The greeter seemed on top of things. I went over to get a slice of deluxe pizza and a drink. Ms. Holding-Down-The-Counter made some effort to talk. When I said "I guess you're out of Deluxe Pizza", she nodded. She didn't say "we've got another in the oven" or "we're not doing another one tonight". She seemed to worn out from holding down the counter to offer useful responses. I got a Pretzel bread ham-and-swiss thingee. I thought that it might be interesting since Thursday, I had a hot dog in a pretzel thingee at Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia. At $3.16 with tax, I was a bit surprised. It was about the size of a Hot Pocket, and was kind of sloppy/wet/doughy inside. Yes, it has swiss cheese, but I don't know exactly what happened. It didn't make me sick but it didn't taste as good as I expected. The person in the phone area seemed knowledgeable, which is where you want your technical expertise, right? I'm sure it's good to have Sam's Club here, but I don't think I'd make the effort unless I needed something specific. As with all Sam's Club--no Visa cards. read more

Sams Club claims that they follow Covid 19 guidelines. I have been there on many occasions and there is always customers not wearing masks. When I ask why are they allowed to be shopping in the store I was told there is nothing they can do about it. read more

Good old sams club one of the giants of the food shopping competition in the states. Today was my second trip to this location and I'm never sure what to expect or think of Sam's club cause every trip is different. On walking in they said you don't need to show your card anymore so that's new and I'll the group at the door mentioned the app and how you can scan everything with your phone now. That's pretty crazy to me that you can skip checking out all together if you really wanted to or just wanna be old school. I came for the gf to get her contacts and that was a breeze and very fast. We walked around the store and I was shocked to see there was no one offering samples. I won't lie I'm a big fan of the samples here because they always have so many new products and it's fun sampling them so you don't buy something you hate. But I guess the days they do samples now are only on weekends in assuming. I'll continue to return here if need be when I'm in the area. read more

Sams has definitely gone downhill. They seem to be replacing name brands with store brands. The store brands just don't stack up - the ones we've gotten anyway. The pre-cooked bacon crumbles are raw. I would never think of eating them right out of the bag. The Hormel brand was much better. The raisins we used to get were SunMaid. The store brand is not nearly as good. Their cakes with the whipped icing are still good, although the decorator of my last cake could have used some training in planning ahead so the words didn't fall off the side of the cake. I am debating on whether or not to renew my membership. There are a few things that I still like to get there, but I don't know if it's worth the price of admission. read more

This Sam's recently remodeled the fresh meat and deli section coolers and now has a butcher counter where you can buy Prime beef steaks (Rib, NY, Filet and Top Sirloin) and real nice and thick pork rib chops. You can buy one or two just like a regular butcher shop. Prices are reasonable. Don't know why Sam's didn't advertise this new butcher counter, nor do they mention it on the Sam's website, they should as it's a very nice feature. read more

The management and upper management needs to work on customer needs. this is the second time this summer I've found the floor to be out of member's mark 40 count water. I consider this product to be a main stay, (one you should never run out of). The first time floor personnel were able to retrieve water from stock, even helped me put some in my cart. Five stars for them. This time there were large areas of the floor empty. Generally there is at least a three bay section for this water, and at least two more at the end of rows. This time nothing. After walking around the club twice, not finding any floor workers. I found a manager, who informed me they expected some tomorrow. That they only get what corp. sends them. Standard response, That way the customer has no choice but to go on his merry way hoping that some other store will have what they want. Maybe tomorrow? Then again maybe I wouldn't have time to go to Sam's. read more

I recently bought a 40 inch Sony television here a few days ago. The sales consultant was able to advise me the correct length of approximate cabling and provide a solution to my home theatre needs as well. I did my research prior to going in, and minimized the stupid questions they no doubt face daily. This expedited our conversation and saved us both the uncomfortable conversation of having to pretend like there was some sort of air of friendliness and community. I have to say I wasn't looking to be impressed (just looking for good deals) but the extra care I was given by the checkout people as well as someone spending considerable energy to help me find something I was trying to find surprised me. This is a retail outlet and the positions in these places aren't the best jobs out there. The people I ran into working at this Sam's club would be welcome to work in my organization anyday. read more
