I ask if they could fix a timing chain before they received my car. They said yes. My car was towed to them in the middle of May. I called initially, maybe once a week, to check on progress. The lady would let me know where they were. I'm expecting my car, maybe around June 12, so in due faith, I paid them. Shouldn't have given them anything. Advise after I paid them my car needs more work. It now needs an additional 1600 dollars invested to work properly. Let me say these people didn't answer the phone when I called them to discuss options, so I had to call from my sons phone or have someone else call to speak to anyone. Update, less than 2 years after my exhaust was installed it failed. I will never recommend anyone to this business, the people are rude and ignorant. I have no interest in asking them to repair this system anymore as I want the system to function properly. read more

Dpc Automotive - This brace failed 2 other times and finally is has gave way and put a hole in my exhaust in less that 2 years - Auto Repair Near Me - Wintersville, Ohio

They worked on damage caused by tar wrapping around my axle and tearing the Loom , electrical wiring. It was kept for over three months while trying to repair the Loom. I called to get progress, but I was accused of being rude. I was just trying to find out the progress. They did not repair the Loom because they did not know how. I took it to another repair shop and was told they were using the shield as a ground wire and tried to use butt splicing to connect wires. This shop repaired in two weeks. DPC charged me $300 dollars for electrical causing a bigger problem. I missed the whole summer of camping. They tried but failed and charged me for the electrical and forgot to reinstall the belly pan. Fortunately it was still there. Two hour drive one way for me to go back to get the belly pan. I waited three hours for them to attach belly pan, which took only 10 minutes to replace. They did replace the axle and ball joint of which I was thankful. If they only communicate to me more , it would have been less stressful. Don't think I'll back there. read more

Never going back to this business again. First off, they worked on my wife's car. Had to be brought back three times in order for them to get the job done right. Each time they fix the wrong thing. Had a car break down and towed to their lot when we came in to empty it out and have it towed away, after it had been there for a Sunday the owner started complaining about people leaving cars there and told us he didn't want us going through the car with the keys because we probably "will takeoff and not pay for it" and then he'd have to take care of it. When I told him that his own driver, and a tow truck with a DPC on it, told me the car would be locked up in the lot safe and sound wouldn't cost us to leave it there and we could come in to get the keys and emptied out anytime, the owner called me a liar. I stepped away because I felt my temper rising and my wife spoke to this shit head and told him we were not planning to do that. We just wanted to empty it out and then arrange for it to be removed from his lot, but he kept interrupting her saying that's what other people say, and they just come in and steal the car or leave it there and never come back. My wife tried to explain, but he wouldn't let her finish a sentence. Spoke to her in a rude way then turned his back on her and walked away while she was still speaking. At that point he was being so rude I almost had words with them but I realized he was too ignorant to talk to. So instead of grabbing him by his shirt and giving him a black-eye, I decided to walk away because they were kids in the lobby. Also, the receptionist there has been, without fail one of the rudest people my wife has ever dealt with, on the phone or in person. Must be related to the owner. Bottom line, customer service there's an absolute joke, the place is run by an ignorant, toxic jack ass and the other workers in the office or just as rude. The workmanship is shoddy and the overall reputation is horrible. The tow truck drivers are the only polite and decent folks I've ever met there, they're contracted by AAA. But the owner is an ignorant and disrespectful piece of crap. Avoid DPC at all costs. read more

This is the best repair experience I've ever had. Car would not start, needed towed; battery replaced (my car is ten years old & original battery.). Replaced battery, and I asked if they would change the oil. They not only took care of the car, but returned it to me. I could not have imagined such service at a reasonable cost. Their waiting room is very dirty. I sent my mom there to have work done on her car. Her carpet mat was black from the mechanic's shoes. They could not find her keys. They sent her out to look for them. She is 83 years old. The mechanic ended up finding them on his work bench. She had taken it to them to have the exhaust changed. Her tail lights did not work after the repairs were completed. When she took it back to have the lights checked they charged her $35 to replace the bulbs. read more
