Midas robs there customers they over charge every one and they make u put parts on that u don't need they Purposely Fails cars and they don't know how to Diagnose cars they can't barely change oil there and they r making their customers pay dealer ship prices for after market parts they ain't even putting on oem approved parts and for the parts they putting on cars u can go the the part store and get the same part for half the price that midas charges u can and get all the same parts they use right from auto zone and all the parts that midas gets from auto zone they r marking the parts up by 80% to 85% and that's not even Including labor they mark up the labor rate like no other..... read more

This place is a joke Installed my brakes incorrectly. Did not test drive the car after and I had to immediately take it to another shop and took the faulty brakes back and the damaged rotor and showed them what happened. They could see the damaged but offered to to only Refund the cost of the brakes but not the labor. So I had to pay twice to have my brakes replaced and all the manager could say was the owner will not give me the labor part of the bill back even though they know the messed up my car , he said I have to listen to the owner. So the owner of this business is a crook very dishonest and the manager is his puppet , can't installl simple brakes on a car. I would not let them work on my bicycle. Worst experience I've ever had. Oh and take a look below the say the want to help and post a fake link for help lol. I think that says a lot. They get in here and fake like they care that they cheated me out of over $300 on 1 set of rear brakes. read more

I have used Midas here for inspections and minor car repair with good results. Friendly service and the job gets done usually within the same day. A few times I had a last minute job that was needed and tbey were able to fit me in quickly and saved the day. Recommend these guys. read more

Midas did 2 repairs on my car which I did not authorize. When I asked the mgr about it he said it was his fault but did nothing to correct the problem. Will never use this shop again nor recommend it to anyone. read more

Worse possible place to take your car! They lied to my boyfriend over and over and didn't think he would know. They said that when they went to fox his breaks, everything "fell out"?! What the hell?? He left and his emergency break didn't work so when he called they said that... like oh yea... everything fell out. What kind of pathetic mechanic says that stuff? He took his car back and they lied to him AGAIN!! They kept his car over night and STILL DID NOT FIX IT!!! Do not go there or you WILL BE DISAPPOINTED! read more

When I say that Harry, the manager, probably saved our lives this past April, it is not hyperbole. My girlfriend and I were in a rental car on the interstate and just as a torrential downpour started, the tire light went on. We pulled off and tried to find the nearest auto place but thankfully got lost trying to find it and stumbled upon this Midas. Harry and his team lifted the car and when they checked the tires, found that one of them was severely deflated while the other three had almost two times the amount of air they were supposed to - so if we hit a pothole (it was a miracle that we didn't since we picked up the car in Brooklyn) the tires would have blown up and we would've been completely screwed. Not only did he rotate the tires and make sure we were safely on our way, he didn't charge us anything and wrote up something for us to give the rental car place to tell them to give us a discount, which they did. Explains what they find in detail and if I decide to get something fixed it's done right and relatively quickly. Discounted oil changes all the time. My fiancé had used Midas religiously for years up until recently. Last year in we took his truck there to have the Upper control arm fixed, which we ended up getting both uppers and lowers fixed. After he picked it up he noticed that his steering wasn't right, he pulled over to check what was going on the left upper ball joint was popping in and out. He took it straight back and was given such a hard time from the manager, stating well how do we know you didn't do this to your truck. My fiancé wasn't asking for anything but it to just be fixed and fixed correctly it was less than two hours from when they originally fixed it. It turned out they had the wrong part on it so we gave them the a second chance people make mistakes and he's never had any issues before. A couple months later a control arm went that we had already had fixed. We called them since they were under warranty to see about fixing them and were told that it was our fault due to the tires/offset we had on the truck. After giving us a very hard time about replacing them they decided to do it. Took it there to have them replaced and we figured we would pay for an alignment as well. When we went to pick it up we noticed the tire was slightly leaning in on top. The manager said everything was aligned and that the tire was like that do too the offset that everything was A okay and what we were seeing was nothing. He stated that we would probably continue to have problems unless we did something about the tires and offset. Fast forward after months of going back and forth with Midas we take it to a different shop to have new rims and tires put on, they look at was going on the wrong parts are on the vehicle the bolts to complete the alignment are broken, 4000$ later we finally have everything fixed that was wrong from the truck. I'm not even mad about the money i'm disappointed at the fact that we were made out to be liars by the manager who stated time and time again that nothing was wrong with the truck. We weren't looking to get anything for free we just wanted it completely correctly for what we paid for. I am HIGHLY disappointed in Midas and with the customer service they have. I couldn't imagine what would have happened if something terrible happened while we were driving due to the truck never being fixed appropriately. read more

Stranded in the middle of the night with a possible bad catalytic converter on my Honda Odyssey, Honda dealership in town wouldn't see us until late in the day. I was hours from home with 2 kids and post camping trip, but Michael from Midas made early morning appointment for us, fixed a bad oil pressure sensor, and we were on our way home before noon. Midas lacks integrity- They installed a valve Incorrectly on my vehicle twice. It wasn't until I took it to the dealership that it was pointed out it was done incorrectly. Midas refused to admit poor workmanship and had a "we don't make mistakes attitude". Filed a dispute, never received a full refund. *they also charged more for repairs than the dealership. read more

Brought in for inspections. There was an issue, so instead of working to figure it out they instead ignored my car for over an hour. It took three hours before I got out of there. They didn't even do anything for me so I just scheduled an appointment at a different service. read more

Needed an oil change. Made appointment for 9am. Got there on time. Staff (who was busy blaring loud rock music and eating breakfast) did not pull my car in until 9:15am) Then it took another 45 minutes for them to be "done." I was only there for a scheduled OIL CHANGE, something that can be done through a drive through in maybe 10 minutes. WHY was I there an hour? Complained through Twitter to @Midas. Got response, and second star rating is only for the corporate, district reply and apology. Was offered free oil change and apology. Apology accepted, but I'm not going back there. They KNOW I'm the one that "told" on them, got them in trouble. I'm not letting them touch my car again. read more

This was my first and last experience over going to Midas. I brought me vehicle in for a alignment. Alignment was completed no notes were made of any complications. I drove 15 feet down the road and my alignment was worse than before. I called the store the assistant manager picked up the phone. I told him what the problem was. He put me on hold for 15 minutes then hung up on me. I called back six times with no answer. I hadto drive to the building to confront the workers on what was wrong with my car. The assistant manager then proceeded to tell me to come in the next day and they'll get my problem taken care of. I come into the store the next day they take my car on the alignment lift for a hour. They then call me back to tell me my right front tie rod end was bad and that it would be $250 to fix it. Why was I not told the first time? I then came into contact with corporate and the store called me within a hour of calling corporate to tell me I could get my refund and that it was their fault. I come to pick up my money and the assistant manager has a attitude and gives me $30 in ones as a childish act. I tell him to have a nice day and he proceeds to say yup like a child. I would suggest they be investigated for deceiving customers. Horrible place will never be there again. read more
