I took my 2017 Buick Encore on Augus 3, 2026 to Midas at 33 Murtland Ave, Washington, PA, due to issues with overheating, engine idle, and the check engine light. I was informed that my vehicle required several repairs, including a thermostat with housing, water outlet housing, Autolite double platinum spark plugs, ignition coil packs, a DEX FS maintenance package, 5W30 full synthetic Dexos oil, and an oil filter, totaling $1,033.43 after parts and labor. I was advised that I needed to drive my car for 50 miles to reset the engine codes before it could be inspected. However, when I returned for the inspection on August 5, I received no updates. After following up, I was informed that the shop was no longer willing to service my vehicle, as it now required a turbo replacement. I expressed my dissatisfaction, especially after having just paid over $1,000, and was told by the manager, John, that it would be best to take the car to a dealership. This was surprising, given that the turbo issue was not mentioned during my initial service. Upon my arrival to retrieve my vehicle, I requested my keys and documentation regarding the work performed, but I was told that no records were available. This lack of communication and transparency prompted me to contact Midas Corporation to report the incident, as I found the situation to be highly questionable. read more

Great crew. I had problems with my Jeep and the alignment they took care of quick and the price was right. Great job

This place is a joke Installed my brakes incorrectly. Did not test drive the car after and I had to immediately take it to another shop and took the faulty brakes back and the damaged rotor and showed them what happened. They could see the damaged but offered to to only Refund the cost of the brakes but not the labor. So I had to pay twice to have my brakes replaced and all the manager could say was the owner will not give me the labor part of the bill back even though they know the messed up my car , he said I have to listen to the owner. So the owner of this business is a crook very dishonest and the manager is his puppet , can't installl simple brakes on a car. I would not let them work on my bicycle. Worst experience I've ever had. Oh and take a look below the say the want to help and post a fake link for help lol. I think that says a lot. They get in here and fake like they care that they cheated me out of over $300 on 1 set of rear brakes. read more

I've gone to Midas for several things, large and small. I've always been pleased with the service.

Came in for an oil change and tire rotation. My tire pressure light was on. They let me know I had damage to my tire and repaired it for free. Great customer service. Highly recommend read more

Worse possible place to take your car! They lied to my boyfriend over and over and didn't think he would know. They said that when they went to fox his breaks, everything "fell out"?! What the hell?? He left and his emergency break didn't work so when he called they said that... like oh yea... everything fell out. What kind of pathetic mechanic says that stuff? He took his car back and they lied to him AGAIN!! They kept his car over night and STILL DID NOT FIX IT!!! Do not go there or you WILL BE DISAPPOINTED! read more

This is the only place I go when I need something (non-warranty) fixed on my car! Michael and Elijah always take such good of me and my vehicles. I trust them to explain what's going on and what work they will be conducting. They work fast, do a great job and the prices are reasonable (especially for a full-synthetic oil change). read more

We have always had a great experience here and have been going here over 10 years. Recently we had an oil change, inspection and tire rotation. We dropped the car off in the morning and picked it up later in the day. The price was good for the service we received. We'll keep going back. Thank you! read more

When I say that Harry, the manager, probably saved our lives this past April, it is not hyperbole. My girlfriend and I were in a rental car on the interstate and just as a torrential downpour started, the tire light went on. We pulled off and tried to find the nearest auto place but thankfully got lost trying to find it and stumbled upon this Midas. Harry and his team lifted the car and when they checked the tires, found that one of them was severely deflated while the other three had almost two times the amount of air they were supposed to - so if we hit a pothole (it was a miracle that we didn't since we picked up the car in Brooklyn) the tires would have blown up and we would've been completely screwed. Not only did he rotate the tires and make sure we were safely on our way, he didn't charge us anything and wrote up something for us to give the rental car place to tell them to give us a discount, which they did. I can't thank Harry enough! read more

Not trustworthy. Overcharged for an inspection and blamed a computer "glitch". Also had an oil change done, I hope, and requested the tire rotation. I saw that the rotation was not done and they said they did it. Don't believe anything they say. read more

The manager here, Michael, takes care of his loyal customers. Time after time after time he can get my vehicle looked at last minute. Explains what they find in detail and if I decide to get something fixed it's done right and relatively quickly. Discounted oil changes all the time. Always remembers my name and asks about my other cars. Car repair made easy here at Midas. read more

My fiancé had used Midas religiously for years up until recently. Last year in we took his truck there to have the Upper control arm fixed, which we ended up getting both uppers and lowers fixed. After he picked it up he noticed that his steering wasn't right, he pulled over to check what was going on the left upper ball joint was popping in and out. He took it straight back and was given such a hard time from the manager, stating well how do we know you didn't do this to your truck. My fiancé wasn't asking for anything but it to just be fixed and fixed correctly it was less than two hours from when they originally fixed it. It turned out they had the wrong part on it so we gave them the a second chance people make mistakes and he's never had any issues before. A couple months later a control arm went that we had already had fixed. We called them since they were under warranty to see about fixing them and were told that it was our fault due to the tires/offset we had on the truck. After giving us a very hard time about replacing them they decided to do it. Took it there to have them replaced and we figured we would pay for an alignment as well. When we went to pick it up we noticed the tire was slightly leaning in on top. The manager said everything was aligned and that the tire was like that do too the offset that everything was A okay and what we were seeing was nothing. He stated that we would probably continue to have problems unless we did something about the tires and offset. Fast forward after months of going back and forth with Midas we take it to a different shop to have new rims and tires put on, they look at was going on the wrong parts are on the vehicle the bolts to complete the alignment are broken, 4000$ later we finally have everything fixed that was wrong from the truck. I'm not even mad about the money i'm disappointed at the fact that we were made out to be liars by the manager who stated time and time again that nothing was wrong with the truck. We weren't looking to get anything for free we just wanted it completely correctly for what we paid for. I am HIGHLY disappointed in Midas and with the customer service they have. I couldn't imagine what would have happened if something terrible happened while we were driving due to the truck never being fixed appropriately. read more

Stranded in the middle of the night with a possible bad catalytic converter on my Honda Odyssey, Honda dealership in town wouldn't see us until late in the day. I was hours from home with 2 kids and post camping trip, but Michael from Midas made early morning appointment for us, fixed a bad oil pressure sensor, and we were on our way home before noon. Professional, courteous, and kind. Hats to Michael and his team!!! read more

I had an appointment to get my AC checked and when I walk in they tell me they don't have time to do it. Horrible service

Midas lacks integrity- They installed a valve Incorrectly on my vehicle twice. It wasn't until I took it to the dealership that it was pointed out it was done incorrectly. Midas refused to admit poor workmanship and had a "we don't make mistakes attitude". Filed a dispute, never received a full refund. *they also charged more for repairs than the dealership. read more

Nice and quick service! Had our new Dodge truck serviced and was able to get some lunch at Old Mexico during the oil change!

The staff here is super friendly and knowledgable. They had me in & out and back on the road in no time. Would definitely recommend!!

Brought in for inspections. There was an issue, so instead of working to figure it out they instead ignored my car for over an hour. It took three hours before I got out of there. They didn't even do anything for me so I just scheduled an appointment at a different service. read more

Needed an oil change. Made appointment for 9am. Got there on time. Staff (who was busy blaring loud rock music and eating breakfast) did not pull my car in until 9:15am) Then it took another 45 minutes for them to be "done." I was only there for a scheduled OIL CHANGE, something that can be done through a drive through in maybe 10 minutes. WHY was I there an hour? Complained through Twitter to @Midas. Got response, and second star rating is only for the corporate, district reply and apology. Was offered free oil change and apology. Apology accepted, but I'm not going back there. They KNOW I'm the one that "told" on them, got them in trouble. I'm not letting them touch my car again. read more

This was my first and last experience over going to Midas. I brought me vehicle in for a alignment. Alignment was completed no notes were made of any complications. I drove 15 feet down the road and my alignment was worse than before. I called the store the assistant manager picked up the phone. I told him what the problem was. He put me on hold for 15 minutes then hung up on me. I called back six times with no answer. I hadto drive to the building to confront the workers on what was wrong with my car. The assistant manager then proceeded to tell me to come in the next day and they'll get my problem taken care of. I come into the store the next day they take my car on the alignment lift for a hour. They then call me back to tell me my right front tie rod end was bad and that it would be $250 to fix it. Why was I not told the first time? I then came into contact with corporate and the store called me within a hour of calling corporate to tell me I could get my refund and that it was their fault. I come to pick up my money and the assistant manager has a attitude and gives me $30 in ones as a childish act. I tell him to have a nice day and he proceeds to say yup like a child. I would suggest they be investigated for deceiving customers. Horrible place will never be there again. read more
