On our vacation we were left stranded in Washington PA. Used yelp to find David owner of Hotrod Hollow. He replied to my message even before shop was opened!! He quoted us a great price and got us right in! I was so worried we were going to be taken advantage of by other garages because we were from out of state. Our car ended up dying right in front of his driveway and he helped us push it to his garage. David saved our vacation!! I recently had my tires replaced (not at R&D, somewhere else) and they found one of the lug nut bolts was stripped, along with the hole it went into. Monro Auto told me they don't rethread, but they could replace the whole thing for $300 so I called around and was eventually referred to R&D Auto as they were really good and their prices were really fair. So I called these guys who told me to bring my car in to see if they could rethread the hole. I got the replacement bolt from Napa and went to R&D on my lunch break. They were able to rethread the hole and put the new bolt in and it only took a few minutes. They were really nice and offered not to charge me but I was so relieved that I didn't have to spend $300 somewhere else in order to get the whole thing replaced, so I paid for R&D's services, happily. Thanks R&D! I will definitely be a returning customer for any other auto needs in the future! read more

Kind of long but please bear with me. In 2017, I bought a 2014 Ford Fusion. One day, in 2018, after my shift at my job ended, I get into my car and the car wouldn't start. The battery clearly died. I had to call roadside assistance to come and recharge the car battery. The next day, I went down to Advanced Auto Parts, explained what happened and that I'd like to have a new battery installed in my car. After they installed the new car battery, every thing was good. Until mid-summer of this year. I was planning on taking my mom to the mall when my car wouldn't start. The battery had suddenly died. On a Monday, I called up R&D and explained the situation. They told me that they had a lot of cars to work on but I could bring it in and they would look at it when they could. Fair enough. After using a car battery charger, I was able to drive my car down to R&D, went in and once again explained what happened and that I could wait since they still had a lot of cars to work on. Two hours later, I get a phone call saying that my car was done and I could pick it up. When I got there, I was told that the battery that I got from Advanced Auto Parts was only able to hold a charge for three years even though it was supposed to last for five. Apparently, I'm not the first customer this happened to. The staff are very friendly. Were able to diagnose what the problem was and even took the time to look at my car even though they had others in their lot. From now on, if my car breaks down, I'm definitely going to come here. read more

I took my 2012 Chevy Cruze there to get a lot of work done after getting screwed over by many mechanics. Not only was the numerous problems solved, but was done quickly, efficiently & for a very reasonable price. The mechanics have so much experience. My car was spotless and running like it was brand new. The shop is absolutely spotless. It was all around the most pleasant experience I have had with my car getting any type of work done!
