Jim was very transparent about the condition of the transmission, that trying to inspect the sealed transmission would cost a lot, and this is assuming there's nothing wrong with the transmission. If there was, my options were to rebuild, purchase used, or purchase new for a transmission, all of which are pricey options after sinking in money for the looking into it alone. His recommendation was to sell the car, which I did, and fortunately came out with a bit of cash in hand. I really appreciated Jim's honesty, thoroughness, transparency, and attention to detail with assessing my car's condition and laying out exactly how much each option would cost me, and what his recommendation was, even if that option was to not do a repair. The next car I get, I'm definitely bringing my car to get it checked for maintenance and repairs here at Batco. Local mechanics ftw!

I walked in without an appointment, they took my car immediately, and within 10 minutes, they had it up on a lift and had me come in so they could point out the repairs that needed to be made. I was in and out and under an hour. And they have a two-year guarantee on all their repairs. The customer service was good and I appreciated a window into the garage so I could see everything being done. I was referred to Lou's by my trusted local gas station and the advice was good; Lou's didn't disappoint. I would definitely return and I was very satisfied with the work, which comes with a 2 year warranty. They also have WiFi if you're waiting in the lobby. I will certainly recommend them and be back for more exhaust repair should I need it with other vehicles.
