My car threw a few transmission codes, so Danielle at Jim's Automotive referred me to Jim at Batco.

No problem, I dropped my car off, went to work and around 2/2:30 I had called to see if it had been done because I would be returning to my office and would be done with work. They told me they would check on it and call me back, I waited about a 30/40 minutes to not recieve a call back, so I followed up, only to be told it was just going in NOW. Now it's 3:15/20, my car was supposed to be seen in the morning? Anyways, the job took about 15/20minutes until I was told that it was done, now it's 4, I've waited all day + some for a 15minute job. Paid my dues went on with my day, no problem Flash forward needing a new oil change, I go to a different shop, closer to home and he pops up from under my car and tells me to not go back to where I went (which is Norwood Auto) because the filter (the dirty one) was not for my car, that it was the correct size but not for my car, meaning it fit, it just shouldn't have been in my car.) THE CLEAN ONE, is supposed to be in MY car. I'm confused and disheartened that a 15/20min job took all day to be seen, with an incorrect part used and overall was rushed with lack of communication? Sure money is money but make sure to LOVE your job before committing to it. I had just bought this car after years of not having one, this was my first oil change that I had to do on my own, and I just feel like not enough pride was taken into doing the job, maybe I wasn't seen as a serious person due to how young I am? But now recommended to never return here definitely doesn't sit well with me. Hope y'all do better.

Revolution Automotive Services - That's how I found my car Sunday afternoon in front of the shop, they didn't take any responsibility.

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this shop. I believe I was overcharged for the…read moreservice provided, and to make matters worse, they denied responsibility for damage to my $8,000 paint protection film (PPF). I brought my 2022 Cayenne S in for a parking brake adjustment. The service advisor quoted a diagnostic fee of approximately $250 and mentioned that the total cost would typically range between $300 and $500. However, I was shocked when I received a bill for around $650. The itemized receipt showed a $250 diagnostic fee and $400 for labor plus tax. In my 20 years of dealing with both independent shops and dealerships, I've never been charged separately for diagnosis and labor when I choose to proceed with the service--typically, the diagnostic fee is applied toward the final cost of labor. For context, Porsche Westwood charges $820 for rear pads and rotors, and $400 for labor--a much more extensive service for nearly the same price. To make matters worse, the morning after picking up my vehicle, I noticed a 1/4" gouge in the PPF on my door. The damage appraisal came to $1,000 including the ceramic coating. I explained to the manager that I didn't see the damage at pickup because it was raining and water droplets camouflaged it. However, he claimed the security footage showed no signs of damage during brake service and refused to accept responsibility. he dismissed the fact that something could have damage the vehicle when they washed it- and kept repeating a brush couldn't have cause that kind of damage. Bottom line: Don't bring your $140K vehicle here. You may end up paying more than you would at the dealer--and with no accountability if something goes wrong.
