Sometimes you don't get what you pay for...! I have eaten at Rancho Los Fuentes, at least twice and both time were memorable, but not in a good way! The first time I visited was a few years ago. I ordered chile relleno, but the dish that the server brought to my table was not chile relleno, and he blamed the cook! It appeared that the restaurant didn't expect me to know the dish. Today, every thing in my families takeout order was of poor quality, cold and incomplete. I think the place looks great! But the food and quality is questionable ??? Not the Mexican food i'm used to (Colorado knows how to do it! ) but it's not bad. Jose is always so friendly and although we drive him nuts changing the menu around he always smiles. Never a charge for subtutions. Lunch menu is a good value. read more

Good Mexican lunch menu price $5-6.75. Good chips and salsa. Big pop cups, very nice service. Being originally from Colorado I have grown up on Colorado green chili so I find it impossible to compare just about every place I have been to in California, Arizona and everywhere I travel. I base my review on the way the rest of the Country prepares mexican food. Overall I enjoyed my lunch, I had the number 2 with Beef taco, beef burrito, tostada and cheese enchilada. I left with the entire burrito for later. Great lunch deal. Dinner a bit pricier. read more

I have had better for sure! The service was good and friendly staff, but there was not a lot of seasoning in food, which left it kind of tasteless in my opinion. The food was hot as far temperature goes, but the salsa did not have any heat to it. Good sweet tea, so that was a positive, and presentation of food was also good. The look of the restaurant for someone who might care about that, was a very stripped down look, with little decoration to catch the eye. Yum. This my husband's favorite Mexican restaurant in George county. He likes the chips here better than any of the other restaurants we've visited. The service is very good. We've never had a bad experience any time we've been. I think one time, their tea was sour. Our waiter brought us fresh and it was good...the food is good. read more

I have eaten here several times with coworkers during our teacher work days. It is never good and they are consistent at not being good. Another serious issue that I have encountered here is that people at the same table can order the EXACT same items and be charged differently. When you questions this they will correct the problem.... But why do it in the first place? With the limited choices in Lucedale I know I will end up eating here again one day for lunch during a work day. Just glad it is not something that happens often. read more

Not the Mexican food I am used to. We recently moved here from the Gulfport area so we thought we'd give these guys a try. The first time the service and food was pretty good, but not the best I've ever had. My daughter and I had steak fajitas and my husband and other daughter had the Carne Asada. I was pleased and price was reasonable. The second time we ate there I decided to try something different. Not so good this time. Green Chiles were used in everything and it was over used. I didn't realize it was in the quacamole. My tostada fell apart because it had way too much beans on it. My stomach hasn't been right since. The waiter was either very shy or just didn't want to be there. He never refilled our glasses and it took forever for our food to arrive. It was also not crowded this night.
