The instructor was easy to follow and clearly very knowledgeable about beekeeping. You can tell she has a deep understanding of the subject and a real passion for teaching it. The class was very informative but also easy to understand, even for complete beginners. There were people of all ages there--even kids--and everyone seemed engaged and able to follow along. The class was held at her home, which made for a very comfortable and welcoming classroom environment. She also had a great amount of personal learning materials and examples that really helped bring the information to life. I honestly can't say enough good things about the experience. She clearly has built a strong following over the years, and after attending the class it's easy to see why. She's friendly, helpful, and a true wealth of information. If you're interested in learning about beekeeping, I highly recommend taking one of her classes.

The products are fresh, all natural, and of course, locally grown. The staff was helpful, and I learned they don't use harmful chemical pesticides or fertilizers, which is a huge plus. The farm stand is a nice size, shaded from the sun, with beautiful views of the Fallbrook hills. Peaceful too! I purchased a few jars of fresh honey and a sourdough loaf, the honey on toasted sourdough was a delicious treat. I also picked up some crisp green beans. They had a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, all of which looked fresh and beautifully grown. I'll be back when I need more fruits and vegetables. They now offer a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) subscription too. I'm looking forward to trying one, since I already get a CSA box from a nearby farm. They offer both delivery and pick-up options. If you appreciate fresh produce, definitely make a stop!

We came here to pick up a couple avocado trees. The healthiest avocado trees I have ever seen in 3.5 gallon sleeves. We could get our grocery shopping done while having avocado trees back home. They are mindful in their farming practices, ethical in their animal treatment, and you can taste the love. I was vegetarian for most of my life, mostly because felt guilty eating animals. When my health began to become effected by my lack of animal proteins, I slowly began to introduce meats. I bought from Whole Foods, it was "pasture raised," it was pretty tasty, but I had a hard time digesting it. A few years later I started buying my meats from a farm in Nor Cal and having it shipped. I didn't like that everything was frozen but I knew it was better than the grocery-bought stuff. Once I switched to Da-Le, was when I REALLY understood how important the methods of animal care are. The farm I purchased from prior, had no intel on feeding or culling methods, and when asked how they tended their animals, their response was, "we do what we want and they do what they want, we don't really tend them." I like the idea of free-range animals, but the vendor then went on to explain that they travel for great lengths of time and lots of people come and help out. It felt disconnected to me, like it was all for profit not out of love for the methodology of farming and providing the community with great food. Anyway, this is not about the "other guys," this is about Da-Le. I have built a beautiful relationship with Ashlie and her Laguna Beach Farmers Market crew, they always make great recommendations, and are truly engaging when you come to their booth. I don't feel rushed, I feel cared about! 3 years later, I am writing blogs for Da-Le, something that brings me the deepest joy, because I am so passionate about sustainability and wellness. My digestion of meats has greatly improved, and I personally feel it is because the animals live low-stress lives and eat quality food. I feel good about my consumption of meat when I support operations like Da-Le, and my body does too!

Omg I love this Sprouts with a passion!…read more First of all.. "Sushi Wednesdays!" The sushi here is good if not better than some sushi spots in Chula Vista. It's pretty fresh and not a fishy taste/smell. They will even take requests. Lately I will call one of my homegirls and yell, "Sushi Wednesdays!" And we will laugh and laugh and make our way over. Do not sleep on chunky cookie time. The singular packed chocolate chip cookies are delicious. Better than some local bakery cookies I have had and cheaper in price, but not quality. This location has my favorite sandwich and smoothie and deli/butcher. They are the friendliest people with hearts waiting to serve and you can tell they like their jobs. They are easy to exchange words with here. The store is clean and organized. I can find way more stuff here than other locations. It is spacious and it has been rare that I have been shopping while it was overly crowded. The crowded area I would say would be the sandwich/smoothie deli during lunchtime for sure because schools/colleges/trade programs in the area will all come and get the lunch specials. The sandwich deal is so smart of them to do because in this economy, it is harder to find a good deal. Back in the day, they used to include sprouts in the sandwiches for free, but now in 2026 I rarely see sprouts sold in stores even. Healthiest smoothie I have had was the green detox, highly recommended. Every single week a different smoothie goes on sale so check the weekly ads for your favorite smoothie. The meat quality is amazing always! I always get chicken, fish, and beef on sale. I have gotten sick before from meats from markets that inject hormones in the meats. I trust Sprouts a lot and have never gotten sick from their raw meats. High quality for sure.

I also appreciated that the produce was very fresh, organized, and vast. I found the Albino Pink Strawberries here, as well as the Okinawa (purple Ube) Yams! This is AWESOME. I have not been drinking alcohol lately and it was VERY REFRESHING to find that they have a nice selection of non-alcoholic beverages. There were several variations of Athletic Non-Alcoholic Beers, nice. My FAVORITE non-alcoholic find was the Mocktails brand called "Mingle". The different flavors looked delicious and seemed to be priced very well. Our cashier was great, she had good customer service. She also showed us the new 25 cents reusable Sprouts shopping bags. They are made of a pretty sturdy material and are a nice khaki tan color with the green Sprouts logo. We purchased 3 of them. Overall, great trip here on a Friday Night, minus the $200 we spent on great groceries, still a great trip.

I agree that this is not the most economical way to get fresh produce, even organic items, however there are some good reasons for subscribing. For us, the most important one is that it encourages us to have a variety of fresh, organic produce on stock. I've tried veggies that were unfamiliar,I know we end up eating better because the produce is here and needs to be used.. While we have a local weekly farmer's market, the variety is unreliable and not as diverse at FFTY's. Also, the time frame is limited, and many of the vendors are NOT organic. Now there have been times when we've received damaged produce, which is disappointing, but we have always received prompt reimbursement. They remind you to customize your box and are very flexible about skipping deliveries for vacations or other reasons. Finally, it makes us feel good to be supporting a business that is concerned about their employees' well-being and the health of the land they farm. It's not cheap, but it feels like we are supporting something good.
