    pumpkin picking

This place is perfect for toddlers, we went last year when my twins were infants but this year now that they are on the go it was so much better. The corn maze was a great place for them to run around and burn off some energy. We attempted the train ride (there a coupon on there website for a free train ride) which loop one they were all smiles but loop 2 my daughter wasn't having it and started to ball. They did well on the tracker ride. My son absolutely loved the petting zoo he was so excited to be with the animals. There lots of cute places to take photos and they do cut your own sunflowers as well. We let the kids pick out some $2 pumpkins and got 3 sunflowers.

Amazing!!! I drove to 4 different pumpkin patches and none of them had large enough pumpkins like the ones I like but this location had gigantic ones at a great price and amazing easy parking and a huge variety. The pumpkin I got was honestly gigantic and perfect probably 40 pounds or more for 40 dollars which I think is an amazing price for such a perfect pumpkin! So I definitely recommend this location for your pumpkin!!

Beautiful Place to visit with family or friends to get all the great fall vibes! We decided to come to this location rather then the Mission Valley one because it was in a natural habitat rather then a parking lot with hay being thrown on the floor. The parking lot is pretty huge to park your car and its free parking as well. The entrance is free as well too but has options to pay for things such as a tractor ride, a train station, sunflowers to cut and a corn maze as well as a petting zoo with goats. When you first enter you will see tons of pumpkins for purchase and a pretty nice set up for Instagramable pics. while we were here we just did the tractor ride where we rode through the park while sitting on stacks of hay, and the kiddos decided to ride the train station where they said it was so much fun and awesome. The corn maze looked great but never went through along with the sunflowers where you can cut and bring home. There was tons of pumpkins and gourds to purchase and everything was at a reasonable price. The place opens up Oct 1 through the end of the month. The kids and family had a great time while visiting and we got some good pictures together overall great place to visit when in season to let your kids run loose and see the bright fall colors before your eyes.

This place is a cute pumpkin patch. There are various activities like hay tractor ride, corn maze, sunflower garden, train ride (for kids). I'm thinking coming on 10/31 means there's no more pumpkins, sunflowers, and corn left. Which is fine. The petting zoo wasn't opened but I still got to see the little goats/sheep(?) Next year I'll remember to come earlier.

A fun October activity that you can take the whole family too. A place to find the perfect pumpkin to carve for Halloween. Prices range from ten to twelve bucks for a medium pumpkin. Not the cheapest but you are paying for the overall Fall experience. The have goats and chickens behind wire fences. Not a petting zoo. There really there just to see and take pictures of. There are funny wood cutouts that you can put your head into for photo ops. Plenty of other decorated spots to take photos as well. Hay rides every 30 minutes for a small fee. There is also a small easy pumpkin/ corn maze to go through. My wife and I took our one year old grandson and he had fun. Overall, a fun October activity. A nice place to spend twenty to thirty minutes with the family taking pictures and picking out a pumpkin or two. Will be back next year.

I was excited to participate in some Fall fun, so we decided to try out the Pumpkin Station in Bonita! Overall I am pleased with the variety of activities, and pumpkins that they had to offer but I am only giving it 3 stars for a few reasons.. For starters, the corn maze is tiny and the petting zoo is priced and staged for children only. The pumpkins are overpriced-- which I expected them to be more expensive than your local grocery store or Walmart pumpkins, but these prices are ridiculous! I moved from the Midwest, so I guess I was just expecting a little more than what I saw. There also weren't enough clippers for the sunflower fields, so we had to track other customers down and ask if we could use the ones that they had. A few things I did like-- The sunflower fields are beautiful and it's only $1 a stem which is very reasonable. Free admission & free parking! If you are planning on going solely for your children it's a good place to go. They have a tractor hay-wagon, mechanical train, and small pumpkin farm aimed for children.

This is a cute little location that comes with a small pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayride, kiddie train ride, petting zoo, and sunflower field. To be fair, they are limited for the space of the location. I have gone to their more grand counterpart in Rancho Bernardo (which is by far, my favorite!). But this one is conveniently close and more local. A cute place to take family for a short trip and have fun for 1-2 hours. Admission to enter is free. They set up these really cute displays in the entrance tent which is perfect to take some nice pictures for the season. I love that they allowed dogs this year (on leash)! Prices for stem of sunflower has gone up to $2 for this year. I will definitely be back again if they allow dogs next year too. Note to dog owners - Your dog may get dirty. Ours had brownish red paws from strolling in the sunflower fields. On that note, I think its a good idea to wear comfortable close-toed shoes. I don't recall getting my shoes dirty, but I think my shoes did a good job in warding off the dirt from the fields.

    My little pumpkins.

This place is no Bates nut farm, but it's a cute, small pumpkin station close to home. It is free to enter and has free parking everyday. There were many different sized pumpkins to choose from, carving kits for purchase, a corn maze, a hay ride, goat feeding, and multiple photo opportunities. There was no food or drinks to purchase, and no real seating areas. Came on a weekend (Sunday), so it was busy with other families. There were long lines to pay and for the activities. The pumpkin prices were high, but it was expected for the location. The hay ride, maze, and goat feeding were all reasonably priced. The station had a good amount of places to take pictures, and it's a fun little October activity to do with the kids. However, I can't see staying more than 1 hours here, due to the limited things to do and see. Might get boring fast, especially with the crowds. We were in and out in 30 minutes. We walked around the whole area and took a few pictures. Fun fall season activity to do and worth checking out.

For years, our tradition has always been to go to Bates Nut Farm for our pumpkins but this year decided to check out Pinery Pumpkin Patch. While Pinery is not as large and picturesque, it has many similar attractions such as a petting zoo, a tractor ride, and a maze. We made some great memories, got wonderful pictures, and found our perfect pumpkins!

I called before I got here and the man said they close @ 10:00 pm. There is a sign right on the gate as you enter and it says Sunday they close @ 10:00 pm. But they started kicking everybody out @ 9:00 pm saying their closed which is BS because they close @ 10:00 pm. I'm very disappointed and the man was very rude. Never comeing to this place again.

Great local place for the younger kids. Took our 2 and 3 yr old grandsons and they had a great time. Customer service was great. All that we talked with were super friendly and helpful. Nice variety of pumpkins from tiny to large. Different colors and textures. Is does get dusty and dry. Go early gets warm fast. Kids loved the hay ride. Will go back for the next few years then hit a bigger venue.

Overall, a nice Pumpkin Patch to visit. Not only do they have a bunch of pumpkins everywhere, but they also have a sunflower field & corn maze. You are allowed to cut the sunflowers & it's $1 per stem! Super deal compared to buying them at a flower shop. Corn Maze is $2 per person. To enter the Pumpkin Patch is entirely free! Parking is free as well, if their lot is full, they let cars park right across at the church. I'd recommend coming around 5pm, therefore, if you want any good pictures... you'll have perfect lighting & the sunset to catch. I would definitely come back & recommend this pumpkin patch to friends & family.

This is the second year we've visited the Family Christmas Tree Farm looking for a Christmas tree last minute. Same as last year, we were not sure if we were going to get a Christmas tree since years past it has been an ordeal purchasing, transporting, cutting and placing the tree. But my hesitation is mainly that I'm in an arm cast second holiday/Christmas season in a row, making it extremely difficult for me to help out and leaving all the hard work to hubs. I'm so blessed he's all mine! I love Christmas and of course need a Christmas tree regardless of the situation... so when I say, let's go take a look and see what trees they have, the hubs is all aboard! Located out in El Cajon it is not terribly far away, about 20 min give or take. Each time we've visited, it's been in the evening, not extremely packed busy, a consistent flow of customers coming and going. Our first visit, I didn't know what to expect. It's not a huge Christmas tree farm, big enough to have a good selection of different trees of all sizes. Pre-cut and cut your own. I don't know what it is, maybe under the evening light, the snow flocked trees stood out like a shining star! Two years in a row, we bought a snow flocked tree, last year a Douglas fir, this year a Noble fir and both at an incredible price! Granted, it was the week before Christmas, the trees were both only $99! I loved our first tree last year, but I love this year's tree even more! We came, we saw, I found my perfect tree in under 10 minutes! We both walked around the cut trees and I just knew which one I wanted, but we both made sure there wasn't another that looked better. About 7-8' tall, he was fluffy, evenly spaced branches, perfectly straight center stem at top, he was the one! The process was super simple and fast, all done and ready to go home with 5 minutes! We took our tree tag and paid for it. Next we found an employee that removed the base (optional rebar stand if you want to keep it), bagged our tree and placed it in our car (Tesla MY) and it fit perfectly! We trimmed the trunk base and up it went! With some minor adjustments, we had our Christmas tree all set up! Smoothest year so far! This year's tree was perfect! Absolutely gorgeous! Simply the best! When it started raining, she drove us around in her golf cart so we could still enjoy everything without missing a thing. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the whole experience feel so special. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and cares so much about the families who visit. The eggs are incredible. So fresh you can literally taste the difference. Her "rainbow eggs" are beautiful and you can tell there's such a variety. It feels like you're getting something truly special, not just a carton of eggs. One of my favorite parts is that after you buy eggs, she lets the kids hang out in the coop and play for as long as they want. There's also a little play area, which makes it such an easy and fun outing for families. And the location is perfect. It feels like a peaceful little farm escape, but you're still so close to the city, which makes it even better. Diane is truly the sweetest, and this farm is something really special.
