I use to go here and this teacher, i believe her name was Mrs. Brown made me pee my pants. I asked to go to the bathroom and she said no we just got back from lunch. Since the new principal took over, this school has gone from bad to worse. There is so much bullying that is overlooked, the noon aids pay no attention to the students, which allows other students to be not just verbally violent, but physically violent to one another. The way they handle things sets kids up to be bullied even more. There is no real conflict mediation. Then if there's a problem with a teacher, it's not properly addressed without putting the parents and the student on full display. The school is operated in such an unethical manner now. The people in the office have the most rudest and disgusting attitudes, except for Mrs Rocio(hopefully correct spelling), she's super nice and always extremely helpful... the teachers here are very mean and act like they hate helping the kids achieve better. They make the kids feel like they are dumb to ask for extra help. They compare other students with the more advanced ones to their faces and that's not okay. A child should never be made to feel less than another. Everything reflects on the principal, who acts like she doesn't know how to run a school and naturally it shows with the way her teachers and aides etc are ALLOWED to run around and act. They deserve a misconduct award. Then when students go to them to try to get help for being picked on, they don't even actively listen and there are no repercussions for the other student, which gives them a free pass to continue picking on students because it's uncorrected and poorly handled. This school has sadly gone downhill since Mrs Alba got there. If you enroll your child here, please always check on your child's mental, talk to them about what goes on daily, make sure they open up to you about the teachers, the students. Etc... and never stop fighting for your child's rights to be protected from any form of abuse. I pray everybody's child who attends here is protected and covered by the blood of Jesus... lastly, I'll state, I pray that all parents stay proactive in their children's life so they will know it's not okay to bully, it's not okay to be disrespectful and walk around cussing and talking inappropriately. Schools have a job to do, but we as parents must also do our job as well. Teach your child to protect themselves as well, because they will encounter much bullying at this school. What an awful start to this school. My son just stated in this new school. We just moved form a different city. Wrong parents emails being inputted in the system. This whole staff just seem to push thing off the other staff. Front desk is not helpful at all and very rude, very unprofessional. Your school staff is there to help families and students. Staff should not treat parents like they're a burden. If anyone from the school district can see this please improve this school. Look at the reviews at this school, it keeps getting worst and worst. AWFUL, bad food, bullying, mean teachers and proctors, PE proctor is super mean, made me do burpees with a broken finger. A teacher screamed at my brother, not very safe, school is getting very ghetto. There are DEFINITELY better schools, only good teachers are all of the six grade teachers and others (I will not include names) Overall review 1 star read more

This school is horrible my son that is on the spectrum has been telling his teacher about getting bullied by other students and all she says is he is going to be ok. Also, came and talked to the principal and she stated she does not have time and this is a serious matter and she seems that it's not an important issue. Find a different school if you have to. SO PLEASE LISTEN IF THERE IS A WAY TO GET TO YOUR CHOLD OUT OF THIS SCHOOL PLEASE DO SO.Also the office manager Gretchen is very rude and disrespectful and Principal Alba does not seem to care about kids being bullied and not having time to address the issue. read more

My younger sibling, was in a 4th/5th grade class and their teacher did not let them out because of some math answer! It's honestly really dumb. And some kids were starving, and some even needed to use the restroom! My poor sibling was starving to death! read more

I LOVE this school! I was a little worried when I originally saw the Yelp reviews when we moved here, but so glad I took the chance! My kids have been going here for 2 years now. My oldest is in 5th & youngest in 1st. Both years we have had incredible teachers. Mrs. Alba (the principal) has been just as wonderful. They have handled the pandemic respectfully. If I could put 0 stars I would, I am a single mother with 5 kids working 3 jobs. This is the worst school you could put your children in, I came back home after a 8 hour shift and my daughter came running home CRYING because a teacher yelled at her, and didn't even let her eat breakfast. Poor thing was STARVING. And a couple of months ago I heard the principal say "It's always the Mexicans" whatever that means. And I am a Mexican a proud one to If you were thinking about taking your child to this school do not. And my daughter also said that when the teacher was talking to her teacher about it she was acting all calm and nice even though she was just yelling at my daughter in front of all of the other kids. And all the other kids were asking if she was ok and she said yes. It truly shows that all the other kids had to deal with this idiotic teacher. Please for the sake of your children and there innocence do NOT let your kids come here. You guys should be glad I'm not suing! And there's more to it than that. I heard from the other moms that at-least 3 children got injured from playground equipment!!! I also saw kids get bullied by other students to! NOT okay, and they worry to much about the girl dress code then the boy dress code. Fix your playground and your staff ranch view! Extremely rude NOT ok. read more

I've had three children come here since 2004. The teachers here have been the bullies, not the fellow students (ok, one or two students were difficult, but harmless). They are prejudice and bitter/angry about their job. I don't believe their heart is in the work. They back each other up in their terrible behavior. I just tell my children that they have to adjust and tolerate this, and they have to make the choice to have a good attitude. Most certainly will they never get encouragement or kindness here, so I have to back my kids up. Sure, they're not perfect, and they might talk in class or have cultural differences that the teachers don't understand. But what happened to patience? They have received insults from teachers and just get picked on. My children get lots of their care and attention at home, and I honestly should have home schooled them. I don't baby them though, and just tell the that they have to work on keeping their joy and spirit. But I'm thankful for one thing: this has been a lesson for them that the people around them might be hateful and intolerant of their culture/beliefs. They will be ok, but these teachers will be stuck with themselves forever. read more

Awful school run by awful Principal Adrena Edmonds. This woman protects bullies. Instead of protecting the child who is being bullied and physically hurt. My child was punched in the face, and no action was taken. On another occasion a student pulled the chairs out from under my son. Resulting in my son falling hard and sustaining a head trauma. The teacher did nothing. Did not send my son to the office to be checked out. Instead he was sent out to PE and then walked home by himself. The teacher called AFTER my son came home telling me my son "might have fallen", and that "it was a crazy day, and didn't have time to check". If your child is not a natural learner, do not enroll your child in this school. Your child will struggle and receive no help from teachers. If your child has any learning disability, this school does not accommodate. read more

My kids have been going here for 3 years and they love it. I think the teachers, staff and principal have been doing a remarkable job. I've seen a huge improvement with pick up and drop off here which had been an issue in the past. Ive only had a few issues and they were addressed immediately so overall I'm happy with the school. read more
