All it takes is a phone call to the Unified District and the SDE and they'll get an earful. I work for operations for many school districts throughout SoCal and non of the schools have it as bad as this school. While I have not personally experienced this issue, I have heard that others have experienced others looking into the bottom of stalls or climbing to the top. I believe that this is a problem that should be addressed. Secondly, the restrooms are frequently unclean. Toilet paper has been saw on the roof, pee has been the walls and ground, and poop has been left in the toilet without being flushed.id like to sayschool lunches have been found in the urinals that we are required to use for restroom purposes. Choosing a preschool/daycare for your child is such a big decision, especially when it is their first experience being away from their parents and we feel incredibly grateful that we chose TLE. From the very beginning, Ms. Zoila made such a tremendous difference in Domenic's life. She was his first teacher, and she helped him feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely loved during what could have been a very difficult transition. Because of her patience, warmth and care, Domenic quickly began to thrive. Even after he moved up to the next classroom, Ms. Zoila continued checking in on him and making sure he was doing well. That meant so much to us as parents and showed us that her care for him went far beyond simply being his teacher. Ms. Lucy was another incredibly special part of Domenic's journey. She was caring, nurturing, and made a real effort to understand who Domenic was. Even though there was a language barrier and she did not speak Spanish, she never allowed that to become a barrier to making him feel seen, understood, and loved. She always found ways to connect with him, shower him with affection, and make sure he never felt alone. Domenic absolutely loved her, and it was obvious how much she cared about him. Ms. Lupita played such an important role in helping Domenic grow and become more independent. As his outgoing teacher, she helped prepare him for his next chapter by encouraging his development, confidence, and independence. She was an important part of the progress he made while at TLE. We also want to recognize Kristen and the entire TLE team. Everyone was consistently welcoming, friendly, and genuinely interested in Domenic. It was clear that the teachers and staff knew him and not just his name but who he was as our little person. Every time we walked through the school, staff members would greet Domenic and us with a smile and a hello. Those little moments made the school feel like a community rather than simply a place where we dropped our child off. TLE was also incredibly flexible and understanding with our crazy schedule, which made such a difference for our family. They worked with us, supported us, and made things easier during times when balancing work, family, and everything else could be challenging. We especially appreciated the many opportunities they created for parents to be involved in Domenic's experience. Events like Mother's Day and Father's Day gave us opportunities to celebrate with him and be part of his school life. Those memories are something we will always cherish. Most importantly, the education, social skills, confidence, and independence Domenic developed at The Learning Experience carried directly over into his new preschool. He transitioned incredibly well into his new environment and has continued to thrive. We truly believe the foundation that was built at TLE played a huge part in making that possible. Seeing how well Domenic is doing today makes us even more grateful for the love, patience, teaching, and care he received at The Learning Experience. The wonderful person he is becoming is a reflection of all the people who poured their time and love into him during such an important stage of his life. This school really gives you a personal family feel, with every single staff member remembering my daughter's name. Every morning she was excited to go to school and happily waved at all the teachers and her new friends. They send you photos and videos of your child all throughout the day so you can see what they're doing/learning and send the kids home with fun artwork almost daily! The small classroom sizes allow teachers to be more focused on your child and their learning. My daughter has developed so much in the past 3 months that she has attended the school in so many different aspects. She comes home daily singing beautiful Christian songs and is eager to bless her food in new exciting ways. Her nightly prayers have also grown more detailed since attending. This school offers amazing faith-based education in a fun and exciting way. Unfortunately, my daughter will no longer be attending TPCS simply because we are moving out of state but I wanted to take the time to let anyone looking for a preschool for their child know that you will NOT be disappointed with TPCS. The flexible hours in the extended day program allowed us to schedule pick ups and drop offs around our work schedule, which not a lot of schools offer. So many, I wish I could list them all... Principal and some staff has changed during my time here but everyone does their job.. The PTO opportunities here are amazing, we have the best PTO in the district from what I've heard. I was on board on and off during my 12 years here and the last 2 years i took on PTO President position, went out with a bang lol. Of course each year it changes as everything does. But overall, aside from personal feelings, thoughts or interactions Promenade is a great school, doesn't mean all 12 years were great, I had my issues too but overall what matters is my kids experiences and education and for that Promenade overall is a great school. Side note: I have been trying to get a promotion ceremony for 5th graders since I started here in 2007 and they just say they can't but all other school districts do, that was a big thing for me. Add on: I see a message about Mrs. Pitts below and I have to comment.. My oldest son had Pitts for 2nd grade (he is a senior now) and my daughter had Pitts in Kinder (she is 6th now).. I love Mrs. Pitts. she is an amazing teacher and I highly recommend her.. I know not everyone has same experience and I'm sad to read comments left about her and sorry but I do want to say she is a great women and teacher. I was so happy when she won't "Teacher of the year" last year. Please give her a chance. I also had 3 friends who's children had Pitts last year too (looks like same time the young child was in the class) and all those parents loved her. The raise comment was uncalled for (one of my friends were black too). I do think there is maybe more to the story. Again sorry you had that experience.
