Fun place to snowmobile. We go usually at least once a year. It's dated but clean. Don't expect a modern 5 star resort here but if you like the small western town type atmosphere with fun snowmobile trails you'll have fun here. The restaurant is cool.

No worries, she had a walker, so a disaster was averted. I did let the front desk know, and they were aware of it, and stated that the location is due for updating soon, and that will be fixed. Checking into her room, Rm 214, it was massive, and I was very impressed by all the handrails in the bathroom. There were some negatives of the room though, there were only light switches right by the door when you walked it, and then only on the lamps throughout the room. My mother got up in the middle of the night and couldn't find a way to turn on any lights and had to call down to the front desk. The other negative was that the door of the bathroom, which is immediately to the right of the room door, when opened prevented you from entering the room. My mother has balance issues and called me to come in the room to help her out of the tub, and because she left the bathroom door open, I could not access the room. Her friend was sleeping but could come let me in after she heard me knocking. The next negative is the lack of wastebin liners. I spoke to the front desk and they told me it was company policy in an attempt to be 'greener'. Although I love this sentiment, I hated the smell of my food garbage permeating my room, and ended up walking it down to the lined trash bin next to the ice machine. Myself, and several other patrons staying at your facility, found ourselves requesting laundry bags so we could line our trash bins ourselves. I know they can be pricey, but may I suggest keeping biodegradable trash Bags on hand for those customers who request liners for their bins, rather than putting them in every room at every turnover? That is the end of my negative feedback, I rarely, if ever, enter public pools or spas, and annoyingly enough for my travel companions, I travel with a pool testing kit in my car because of my job. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the pool & spa, and they tested spot on, so I gave my blessing to the members of our party to go ahead and enjoy. I was upset that the first, and only time, we ate at the in-house restaurant/bistro, was after checking out. We had the most fabulous breakfast! Lastly, and most importantly, I would like to sing the praises of the staff at this location. They were always friendly, professional, and very helpful. My mother lost a nut from her walker, which was preventing her from using it. I brought the walker to the front desk hoping they might have a maintenance room where a spare nut could be located. I then had 6 people on the case. Jack, Josh, Laura, Alexandria, Pete and Rin. I was so astounded and appreciative that so many people were on the case. A nut was found, but didn't fit right, and wouldn't stay in place, so Pete & Josh went looking more thoroughly and found something that would fit AND stay in place. They fixed my mother's walker, which she is pretty much lost without. This level of service AMAZED me.

The accommodations such as a free shuttle with good times too or you could take the free bus that takes you to the downtown area too. Rooms were actually very clean and it really felt like that I was at home. Great modernized rooms too. Though there wasn't much of a view for my first floor room I was close to the lobby which I was very content with. The breakfast had vegan options for my wife shockingly! Breakfast besides that was incredible with what was provided. They had cookies for guests in the evening hours. The fitness room was Prestine as well though I was slightly disappointed that a hot tub was supposedly advertised wish there is not but the pool has pretty solid hours too if the beach isn't your kind of thing. Prices here are kind of high but it was ultimately Justified throughout our entire visit. I will highly recommend and suggest coming here as your first choice if you are staying in the area.

We arrived early from a long road trip and were greeted by a friendly front desk clerk who to checked us in early. Our room was well-appointed, with all the basics, including hand soap, lotion, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. There was a small desk, hooks for hanging personal items, hangars, a small fridge, disposable cups, extra towels and comfortable beds. The lobby was cute and modern and had plenty of comfy seating options, small tables, foosball tables, 24 hr. complimentary coffee and tea and snacks, soups, mac 'n cheese, etc. and beverages for sale. There is a workout room equipped with treadmills, Peloton, elliptical, weights, mats, towels and water bottle filler. The front desk has complimentary ear buds if you need them. A basic complimentary continental breakfast is served each morning and parking is free!

They have a full hot breakfast as well as a coffee station with coffee and tea available 24 hours a day. I do like an in room coffee maker but even having to go downstairs to get a hot cup of coffee in the morning wasn't a problem. The hotel is two years old so everything is nice and new. The beds were very comfortable and the room a have a blackout shade. Plenty of USB and plugs in the room. They have a smart TV so I was able to stream my Netflix and SiriusXM music. Even with a room facing the main highway it was a peaceful and quiet stay. I can't think of one negative about this hotel and would happily stay here again.

Nice common area with a fireplace and comfy couches. The views were amazing. Cons: The front desk staff seems unhappy and passes that along to you. As other reviewers have mentioned, they aren't flexible when it comes to changing your stay or checking in/out earlier than the stated times, so make sure your plans are very solid before booking, even in the dead of winter. Parking is very limited. We were expecting guests to drop by for a quick visit (two hours tops) and asked where they could park. We were directed across US-31 (a busy four-lane thoroughfare) to an overflow lot. We asked if there was anything closer, as one person is in a wheelchair, but they didn't budge. (The parking lot in front of the hotel was empty except for our car at that point.) I'm giving this four stars because it is an impressive property and the winter prices are quite low, but keep in mind that the customer experience wasn't great.

Don't book until you know how long you want to stay. No refunds. We had a one bedroom condo on the main level. Comes with one dedicated parking spot and extra parking on the west side of the lot. The styling is craftsman and is holding up nicely despite the harsh winters and water. Rooms are nicely maintained but the furniture is showing some wear. It was clean and well organized and it felt safe. Access to the beach is easy and each unit has a patio. Views are stellar and it's well worth the price. They come by to clean rooms and tidy up every day. The kitchenette is helpful and the fireplace is also a fun compliment to the space. Staff at the front desk is not award winning for personality but they got us what we needed. Bar was never open and the sister property down the beach has a restaurant and rooftop bar should you need that. We would return.

The jacuzzi in the room was definitely a highlight and made the stay feel relaxing. That being said, the balcony was pretty disappointing. We were on the first floor and it was really small with plastic chairs and no sunlight, so we didn't end up using it at all. It felt a bit misleading compared to how it looked on the website but we didn't care too much.. We did enjoy the pool and hot tub, and overall the place has more of an older, vintage feel. The staff were really nice and anytime we requested something it was handled quickly and everything went smoothly. I would consider staying again, but I would maybe skip the balcony next time.

We had a very nice lakeside room with a spacious balcony. One word of caution the rooms facing east especially the lower levels look at a crummy empty lot. The third floor may be somewhat better. They do warn you that the view of the lake is partial and perhaps better than looking at the parking lot but... The room itself was nice with a larger refrigerator and an extra sink outside the bathroom which is handy. There is a large indoor pool which we didn't use but it looked inviting. The location is close enough to downtown and all of the shops and restaurants that you can walk - under a mile each way. They also have a shuttle bus that on request will take you into town which we used one night when we decided we would only walk back. The only minor ding is their free breakfast was weak compared to most chain hotels. The hot entrees never varied over the three mornings. Overall for the rate this was a great experience.
