    #The #4 Pizza Quarter
    Sam T.

Stop what you're doing and get yourself into the pizza night train. Not that regular circular pizza, yes, the new square pizza is in town and it's absolutely delicious. When I want to treat myself out to pizza, Ranch is the place TO GO! Friendly staff and big court hall next to a bar makes a great place to dine and drink! Plenty of parking and spacious venue for people of all ages.

Bullsh1t Caesar salad. $12.50 for this bitter flavorless bowl of lettuce. Don't waste your money.

The pizza was delicious. Nice balance of price, quality, and portion size. The Caesar salad is garbage. Total waste of money. I don't know what type of lettuce they use, but it is very bitter. It's literally just lettuce dusted with bread crumbs and parmesan with a splash of flavorless dressing, and it costs $12.50. Literally almost half he cost of the pizza for lettuce and bread crumbs. Don't waste your money on the salad. Worst salad ever.

The boys and I are regulars at Public Valley House and Ranch is the best there (also best pizza in Happy Valley), especially to share. There is plenty of seating. The half & half with #4 and pepperoni with sides of ranch is a solid choice. Quality is pretty consistent but the wait time for pizza is pretty long and could be better.

Love this pizza! The crust is amazing and the sauce is so flavorful, all the toppings are quality ingredients. This is my new favorite place for pizza! Be sure and try the breadsticks too!

pizza was delicious! I preferred the pineapple over the #4. Their ranch was also great to pair with the pizzas. Also ordered their Caesar salad which I recommend skipping. I felt like the cabbage wasn't washed - tasted super bitter but their dressing was not bad

The Hawaiian is a truly magical bite. I know what people say about pineapple on pizza but honestly I doubt our forefathers has roasted jalapeños or Lardons in mind either I don't think I've ever had a more complete bite. Sweet pineapple. Warm roasted jalapeño heat. Nutty pecorino. Slightly salty Lardon. A slightly sweet savory sauce. And it all starts with a crunch. The kind of crunch that would make you look over your shoulder in public. With crispy cheese all the way to the edge. There's no folding. There is no knife and fork, just mounding fallen toppings on the next bite like speed jenga. A quarter pie was plenty for lunch. I would have eaten more but that wouldn't have been wise. I thought I wouldn't possibly want to ruin a great pizza with ranch. But their thick yummy ranch just adds more flavor. Fortunately it's thick enough you can kind of hold it sideways as you shove in the corner with the repiled toppings. Thank goodness I love so far away! Note: the place is inside the public house. It's not super obvious as you pull in the lot.

This place is dangerous being so close to home, but it just speaks volumes on how good Ranch is!! They usually have a rotating (monthly?) special, which is always worth checking out! Ranch offers quarters or whole pies (4 quarters), and their ranch is probably some of the best ranch I've had. Their pies are more on the heavy side, it is detroit style, and they aren't shy with toppings cheese. Their crust is chewy, foccacia like, with ample toppings that honestly I don't think I put my slice down at all as I tried to maneuver each bite playing tetris with my toppings. Each bite delivers, each bite sings, each bite made my tastebuds dance. Paired with their ranch? The ultimate chef's kiss. There is no wrong choice at Ranch, the only choice is how many pies are you taking home?

Holy moly! I had heard great things but my god was this delicious. I'm honestly not a huge pizza fan anymore, but this was insanely good. I've never tried a Detroit style pizza before. The crispy cheese along the edges, the perfectly balanced sauce, the perfect meats We tried the pepperoni and the #4 The pepperoni was crispy and curled up to perfection. The #4 has the perfect amount of sauce, cheese and sausage. They clearly use some great high quality ingredients. Plus they make their own ranch in house, and there are 2 containers per pizza - something I realized after I ordered. We took home a pint of ranch too. It's truly delicious. Highly recommend giving them a try.

Pretty decent pizza! Ordered a quarter Pepperoni and the wife ordered a Radicchio Salad. Quarter pizza is just the right size for a lunch serving and decently priced. Crust was nice and crispy and had a decent amount of pepperoni's on it. Small criticism would be that I wish it had a little bit more cheese on it but really it's not noticeable. Wife said her salad was really good. This place is definitely one we will be going back to again. Update: ordered a second time with extra mozzerella....two thumbs up. Parking: Plenty of parking, actually has a parking lot so right off the bat it started off good.

Small menu, but it covers all of the bases

I'd never had a "Detroit-style" pizza before, but I'm super happy that I've had one now! At Ranch, you can purchase a whole pizza (12' square, and quite thick), or a quarter of a pizza. The menu us small and basic, which is a good thing in my opinion ("specialize and excel" instead of "do lots of things moderately well"). The quality of the pizza and breadsticks was absolutely op-notch: tangy, flavorful tomato sauce and not overwhelming amounts of cheese, delicious crust with a crispy exterior, delightful chewy, crispy, charred cheese at the perimeter that somehow manages no not be at all bitter or burned-tasting. This was truly and outstanding pizza in every way! The establishment was alarmingly crowded when we arrrived...even with the pandemic protocols in place, it still felt a bit panic-inducing. After I ordered, I was told it would be 25 minutes for my pizza to be ready. I was amazed and relieved when they called me over less than ten minutes later with my order complete. I really LOVE "Ranch", and seriously cannot wait for my next visit...they seriously are that good!

Still great! Got a half and half yesterday with #4 and Hawaiian and the leftovers are already gone. The ranch is so good. I also found out about the whiskey bar in the downstairs and recommend checking that out too.

New York and Chicago are still trying to catch up. But we are in the Pacific Northwest, nowhere near Loui's Pizza or Buddy's Pizza (Detroit pizza staples). So many times, what tries to pass off as "Detroit style" falls miles short. Then came "Ranch" where I stood outside and screwed up enough courage to try yet another Detroit style pizza. The interior was small, one wall lined with tomato sauce cans, the menu was bolted to a wall. The smell took me back and that gave me some hope. The pizza arrived at the table, the wife and I have varied tastes so we each ordered a quarter pizza. Mine was pepperoni, the wife had a veggie. The pizzas looked right, square, caramelized crispy edges, heavy toppings... and then on the side of the plate was this cup of ranch dressing. Duh! "Ranch" obviously has to have a good ranch, right? I dipped my pinky finger in the ranch and took a taste. You would not think one ranch can be so far ahead of the others, but ranch is the place for ranch, as well as pizza. My first bite brought a smile to my face, it was just, right in every way that a Detroit pie should be. I have been back to try their #4 pie with sausage and ricotta, and I am looking forward to more trips. If all that was not enough, the service was friendly, the food came out so quick (about 10 minutes) and the place was nice and clean.

A slice of that dipped in their ranch (they give a side of ranch for all pizza orders) is heavenly. Their ranch is actually the best ranch I have ever had. I wish they sold bottles of it so I can have it at home. They also have seasonal specials, like their pickle pizza with hot honey, or the french onion soup pizza (so good). I would recommend doing takeout as there is limited seating.
