Passing through this little town on the way to the beach when we saw this place. We make it our goal to avoid chains when on vacation. Nice varied sandwich menu with some bbq options. We had the philly and chicken fajita wrap. Both were good though I would add a little more chicken to the wrap. The desserts were all homemade and looked delicious. We opted to take a piece of pineapple and mandarin orange cake with us to eat later. There was also a good selection of blue belle ice cream flavors to choose from. Nice little stop on the way to the beach.

The pulled pork with side of fruit and beans. My friend loved the beans!

Stopped in here for lunch while some friends and I were hitting all the consignment and antique stores. I love mom/pop/local eateries and the great food served is always why! I had a classic club sandwich, friends had pulled pork and brisket. My sandwich was a la carte so I ordered the side of fruit. Best choice! Fresh pineapple, peaches, grapes and oranges. Most places it's all melons which I'm not a fan of. My friend gave me her potato salad which was good. I added some mustard (just my personal taste with homemade). Prices were fitting and drinks were one size. Really good sweet tea. If I lived back in the panhandle heading to this town again I will definitely come here again. Maybe next time get some ice cream.

Lovely sundae! I already started eating it!

Great brisket, pork barbecue, and baked beans. Stopped here on the way to Fort Walton. Hole in the wall with great food.

Great food and the staff was very nice and helpful. You can't beat the barbecue plate or the brisket and the baked beans are amazing.

Great food. Awesome local character. Pulled pork, cowboy grilled cheese, Philly cheesesteak, all top notch. Worth the stop!

I really haven't had a bad experience at Firehouse before, but this is just ridiculous…read more I would have turned around and gone back to have them correct the egregious errors in sandwich making... but no, we're currently hooked up to a trailer with a horse in it, headed to TN. So, here I sit, as a passenger, writing this review in hopes management sees this review and improves the service. I ordered a H&L, nothing out of the ordinary, added oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, jalapeños, and banana peppers. Next sammie... turkey. Again, nothing crazy... no mustard (I can't do vinegar-based sauces), add Cajun mayo and olives. What did we get? H&L came with black olives, Cajun mayo, no oil, no vinegar, no salt or pepper. Turkey didn't have any olives, and they added the oil and vinegar, salt and pepper. I couldn't eat my turkey because vinegar hurts my stomach. Husband couldn't eat his because of the Cajun mayo and the black olives. I should also add, that the amount of oil and vinegar added to the sub was, superfluous; the entire sandwich was SOGGY. We just wasted a half hour waiting for 2 sandwiches that were incorrectly made... and we're still hungry...so...thanks.

Zero stars. Ordered online. Then waited inside for 50 minutes. Got two I'm sorrys but still no…read morefood. Finally got a manager to refund our meal. Everyone in the restaurant was waiting on food. Staff was disorganized, losing tickets, other people also requested refunds and left the restaurant. They were also out of ice. I never write reviews and am generally very forgiving of service related experiences, but this was unacceptable. Overall horrible experience. Avoid stopping here. We won't be back.
