This person does not deserve a professional title next to his name. 1 star is too many, if I could give 0 stars I would!! He decides how much money he thinks you have and milks you for all of it. He started out by telling me my wisdom teeth must come out, I told him they have never bothered me and I wasn't there for that but he kept insisting so l ignorantly trusted him. Afterward I realized he pulled several other teeth as well, without my knowing, because he decided to do implants on me although I did NOT ask for or even discuss them. Of course implants did not happen because I wasn't there for that, but the damage from him pulling other teeth was done and at the end I had to take a quick temporary fix to what I did go in for because I was out of money after the outrageously expensive "wisdom tooth surgery." To this day I have problems because of that and because of his poor, low quality work. After my "wisdom teeth surgery" he suddenly closed his office for a week and took his family on vacation. His integrity is non-existent, his work is very bad quality and during my experience there 3 of his employees said things to me about him that weren't good. He is dishonest and I was told afterwards that any 'good' reviews here are from friends & relatives who he coached on what to say. Don't trust him! If so then, let me tell you about my story with Dr. Davoud..... So, I have been on a search for a dentist who doesn't just tell me to floss and brush my teeth. I have struggled with cavities for years despite doing the above routine. I didn't understand WHY my teeth were still getting cavities and you know what... Dr. Davoud changed that all for me...He recommended a Vitamin D test and yall never before has a dentist told me to do this...I was SHOOK by the results. My levels were ridiculously low! After the initial shock of why other dentists have not told me to do this, I was so grateful for Dr. Davoud because I was able to get a real answer. He even guided me on what changes and supplements to take and for that my teeth and I are thankful! BUT beyond that, I also came in because I needed to take care of an infected tooth. I was so scared because I had no dental insurance for a year and was unable to visit a dentist to have it taken care of, so of course, by the time I was able to afford dental insurance and to see Dr. Davoud, It was BAD. I was in that awful phase of headache PAIN ): but Dr. Davoud and his staff were so caring and reassuring. He answered every question I had, and most of all Dr. Davoud's dental office is ON TOP OF THEIR DENTAL GAME! I ended up getting a tooth implant and the procedure is the NEXT LEVEL. He used this PRF (Platelet-rich fibrin) technique where they draw your blood, spin it, and forms your own clot. Look it up, it's really interesting... anyways he did that on me and my tooth healed so quickly. I spoke to other family members who also had implants and they were surprised to hear how quick and smooth the healing process was. overall, if you are looking for somebody who is BEYOND the average dentist, then this is the guy for you. read more

Rating this dentist with a 1 is too high I wish I could give a 0. I had absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a dentist and am so upset that I had to pay $300 for a consultation in which I got absolutely nothing out of it but a huge disappointment and awful experience. His answer to my every question was literally "I don't know", and besides that all he told me was to go see a periodontist. (Which was obviously something I had already done.) He was incredibly rude and made me so uncomfortable with his rude behavior combined with his not caring attitude that I was crying in the dentist chair. I couldn't believe how unprofessionally he was and what was happening in the consultation. I only went to this horrible dentist because I was told he was a "natural" dentist meaning a biologic dentist. Which if he actually is a legitimate one, then he shouldn't be because he is absolutely useless and doesn't even measure up against any of the regular conventional dentists I have gone to. He literally didn't even have any decent advice. I shouldn't have had to pay the $300 based on what I received. Infact they should have paid me for wasting my time. My best advice is to NOT go to to this dentist (definitely don't go to him if you're looking for a good natural dentist). There is nothing natural about him. But if you still want to try going to him, then at least DON'T pay for a consultation unless you want to waste $300 and go through the very upsetting experience I went through. You should make sure he's actually capable of helping you before paying anything. I basically got scammed, and I literally can't think of any other time I didn't get absolutely anything for a service I paid for. He also keeps up on the latest and most effective treatments. Best of all... He is a WIZARD when it comes to numbing techniques. I have had a lifetime of horrible dental experiences. I was recommended to Dr.Davoud by my brother. I have never had a more calming or pleasant dental visit. He is outstanding at making you comfortable and explaining everything he is going to do. He is also very proactive about future work to be done. I am also a cardiac patient and they never started a procedure without contacting my cardiologist first and getting the ok. I have been traumatized since I was a little girl about going to the Dentist. I have had many bad experiences while growing up, so you can only imagine how much work I needed done because I avoided the dentist at all cost. I am in my late 20's now and I thought to myself pull those big girl underwear on and fix and care for your teeth before you are left with none! So based off great reviews I gave Dr. Davoud's office a chance. This was one of the best choices I have ever made! Seriously. There is no other Dentist I will ever go to because he is the best. He extracted a few teeth, helped me avoid root canals, placed crowns, filled cavities, and etc. The best part? I never felt a thing! Not even the shots and I hate needles! I made an appointment and was very excited to see a holistic dentist. My appointment was at 3:30. I was finally seen at 4:30. I was irritated because i took time out of my day and my time wasn't being valued. I was scheduled to have a consultation which the cost was $325, to go over what possible procedures i could possibly undergo, answer questions, check the levels of mercury on my fillings to see if it was worth taking them out, x-rays, cleaning etc and i was under the impression that there would be more done for that high price. I was ok with the price of the consultation at first because i thought i would get my money's worth. I sat down and Daviod came in and asked what i was looking to get done. I told him remove my fillings and fix my high receding gum line. He showed me a video and talked about a procedure that could be done. He belittled me and treated me like i was dumb. I paid $325 to talk about things i could have discovered online. I cant believe i fell for such a scam. I'm writing this review to help others not make the same mistake as I did. A consultation should be free especially for what i talked about with Daviod. I went to Livermore and found an amazing dentist that does flawless work. He is a profound dentist and knows his shit. I have been going to Dr. Davoud for several years, and will continue to be his patient. Dr. Davoud is honest and extremely knowledgeable, and his work is very precise. Most patients think Dentistry is JUST about teeth, like I did, but after going through the care that he provides, you will learn that it is the well being of your entire mouth, including teeth, gums, tongue, throat, etc. He covered ALL those bases, and explained to me how many health problems can stem from neglecting them. I took my son here and I will never come back! They always gave me a price for the next visit and even during my son's visit I would go up to the front desk and double check the amount I owed. After every visit I was always having to pay $100+ more then they told me. I called my insurance and the insurance quote they gave me did not match what my insurance sent me. The last visit I had with them I asked 3 different times how much I would be paying and once again when I got up to pay they tried charging me $100 more and I refused to pay it. I have had such traumatic experiences with the dentist that I altogether refused to continue going. And I mean, I HAVE to be sedated at the dentist or I can't control my anxiety. I woke up one morning with excruciating pain from a failed root canal that became incredibly infected. Upon finding his office online and reading the reviews, not one was bad. I chose to give it a shot. He exceeding my expectations far beyond anything I imagined. He exudes such patience and genuine care with his patients. He has never come across money hungry like most places I've been and he is very well educated and up to date on all the new technology regarding his practice. His entire staff is so sweet, understanding and knowledgeable. Cecilia at the front desk gave me such a great first impression and sometimes that first impression is all you get before deciding to proceed with an office. Take it from a girl who hadn't seen the dentist in a decade due to horrible experiences. I have awful insurance and pay completely out of pocket to receive his services.
