Stole a transmission from me. Brought my truck here for a simple transmission swap (I supplied the…read morenew transmission) & lo and behold they "lost" my original transmission. My first mistake was when I came to pickup the truck he waited until I already paid to tell me I would have to come back the next day for the transmission since he was still "draining the fluid". I gave him the benefit of the doubt but the next day he then claimed he didn't know where it was at that moment and asked if I could come back the next day. After that day he quit returning any of my calls. The company that sold me the new transmission required me to send in my old one (for a core charge, a common practice) and since I couldn't they charged me an additional $300 and voided the 30k warranty I purchased. They didn't adjust the shift cable properly on install and it ended up breaking the plastic assembly on my shift cable a week later while I was at work. These guys got lucky I was in the middle of moving out of state when this happened or I would have had the time to stand outside their shop making sure every customer saw the absolute headache they were causing me. If you are the owner of this shop and want me to remove this then "find" my phone number and see if you happen to stumble upon my transmission for me to pick up.

After leaving the location and making it only 2,000 miles. Their transmission took a s@&$ . We took it to a transmission repair place in our hometown of MT .. only because there are no Aamco transmission in Montana. The Aamco transmission was still under warranty. A warranty they gave with the transmission. Aamco will not honor it. After only 2,000 miles on their transmission they refused to honor their warranty. We need a whole new transmission. This place is a scam and their warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else . Anywhere else would be better. We are seeking legal remedies but it's shouldn't have ever come to this. also, I have one star but I would have given none if it were an option

I had just had received my 70 Oldsmobile 442 back from the engine manufacturer (Mondello Performance) for over heating issues. I took the car out for any easy drive from WSMR to LC. 2miles onto 70 the car vapor locked and died. I had the car towed to Baird's Automotive because they were the closest shop. It was a great find for me. The shop fixed the vapor lock issue. When I drove it home I found I was still having overheating issues. Called the shop and came back in. Total repair took about 2 weeks. The issues turned out to be a ballooned radiator and insufficient air movement. Which lead to overheating and a header gasket leak. Baird's worked with Mondello the entire time to ensure warranties on the engine were not violated and engine specs were maintained. Much of the delay time was parts shipping from Mondello to Baird's. Baird's called and informed me when they agreed and disagreed with Mondello, but maintained a professional environment regardless of agreeances. Thanks To the service, leadership, and mechanics at Baird's Automotive, the "Blue Beast" is running great again.
