Ramon and his team were very nice and helpful in trimming the trees. The leaves kept falling into our yard and after the trimming, we do not have to clean up as often anymore. Ramon was also able to clean up our overgrown hedges around the property. They completed the service quickly and cleaned up nicely afterwards. read more

Did a great job. No BS, great price to take branches away. High recommend Ramon! Seriously, good guy! Will hire again.

They are tree artists. Always a great job. They come to my house twice a year. People actually stop and take pictures.

They bounce from tree to tree with ease I'm not talking about monkeys, Buth rather...hard working tree trimmers. I've never seen anyone breeze up and down trees Cutting and trimming and having a lotta fun. Three huge trees between my neighbor's house and mine They cut these huge branches and limbs to miss the roofs As they fell and hit the ground with a big thump. Well good morning everyone As three chainsaws echoed through the morning air Better then an alarm clock at 7:30 a.m. Then the wood chipper fired up All you could hear was the roar of the motors Branch after branch got sucked up into sawdust. As sandy eyed neighbors awoke...looking at my house Sorreee...but it's my neighbors trees... I'm just getting the firewood...yaaay... I just paid half for the services... No more leaves in my backyard...yaaay.. read more

Mr. Ramon came out to quote me on trimming that I needed done on a Jacaranda tree due to the increase of bees that it was attracting. He is a very honest and upfront man that got the job done right the next day in less that 24 hrs. He not only left the tree perfectly trimmed as I requested but also took the time to clean up perfectly after the trimming. I am beyond thankful with his work and I definitely recommend him for any tree work that you need. read more

Sadly, the bark beetle got the best out of our tree and we had to cut it down. I reached out to the same guy I have been using to trim our trees for years and this time his prices did not jive. So I searched and had a list of 10 potential companies to reach out to. I called them one by one, made appointments to get estimates and after the fifth or sixth appointment I met with Don Ramon. He provided a very fair price and was ready to jump on it the same day. Could not say no and within a few hours the bulk of the work was done. They came back this morning, cut down the rest of the tree, trim my avocado tree and de pilon...(as extra) trimmed the hedge that I share with my neighbor. Going forward, I will refer him to others. read more

We contacted Ramon to trim our lemon grapefruit tree. My husband made it very clear what he wanted him to do. He wanted it to be trimmed and rounded at the top, and to be pruned inside to promote a healthy growth. As you can see from the picture, we wound up with a butchered tree. His guys cut major branches as well as causing damage to the remaining branches with their chainsaw. We have very little branches left. After speaking to another qualified tree trimmer, we were told that this tree may never recover back to its original condition. It will take a minimum of 5 years for us to even get back the beginnings of the healthy fullness growth. Super disappointed. At this point there's nothing that can be done to fix this. We called and spoke to Ramon. He told us he was going to come back and take a look at it himself. It has been 8 hours and we have had no response from Ramon. read more

I live in Diamond Bar and "had" 6 European Cypress trees that were over due for attention. Not knowing where to start, I went to "yelp" to begin my search. Ramon's Tree Service showed that he was in Glendora, which is somewhat close to my area. Immediately, I noticed the 5 Stars on his business from previous reviews. I read numerous reviews and couldn't find anything negative on him. I gave him a call one late morning and he was at my house by 2pm ready to do the estimate. Because I didn't want to have to sell a kidney, I was afraid to hear the price that he was going to come back with. (Multiple European Cypress trees are a big job and they make a mess.) His estimate was spot on with what I had calculated. I agreed with the price and asked if he would take a personal check. He said yes and would start the job the next morning, about 9am. Thinking that just a couple of guys and one truck would show up, Ramon sent out his entire Calvary! They arrived much earlier than the promised time of 9am, which was fine with me. Like a finely tuned machine, his guys attacked the job in unison and were finished in 2 and 1/2 hours. I was extremely pleased with the end result. Ramon is a really nice, down to earth, kind of guy. I never felt pressured and I know that I didn't get gouged with his estimate. He came across with honesty and integrity through the entire experience. He knows what he is doing. Without thinking about it twice, I would use Ramon's Tree Service again. The bad thing is that those European Cypress trees grow so slow, I may not have to get them trimmed again in my lifetime. My gardener can handle all of my other trees. If you should find yourself in the same position that I was in, you will not regret using Ramon's Tree Service. I'm glad that I did. read more

I've been using Ramon for over six years now and year after year when he comes out his crew does a great job and when I say they go above and beyond I mean they picked up at least four large bags of leaves that the tree had shed through the year which was not a part of the bid but Ramones crew cleaned up exceptionally well read more

I called Ramon yesterday (Saturday) after I pulled out 2 trees in my backyard and figured it was going to be too much trouble to pull 3 more and do the cleanup. I called Ramon's Tree Service at 1pm, Ramon answered and came right over to give me a quote. They removed the 3 trees, hauled all 5 trees and did a great job of cleaning up. The price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Ramon's Tree Service, Ill also be using him to redo my backyard (they replant also) and to trim my large trees in the front yard. GRACIAS Ramon and team!! read more

Always makes our trees look happy and healthy. They shape and trim beautifully!

I contacted Ramon and he was able to come out the same afternoon. He removed a giant palm tree and ground out the stump. He and his crew were quick and efficient. They also had the lowest pricing of the others I checked with. Thanks for the good work. read more

They topped my pine tree instead of trimming. Now the city has deemed it damaged and will be removing the entire tree. I'm devastated.

I usually do not write reviews, but after the job Ramon and his crew did I feel compelled to. Met with Ramon for an estimate and he had the job completed by the next day ( removal of 3 trees with clean-up and haul away). His price was more than fair. I would recommend him to anyone with tree trimming / removal issues. read more

I asked them to trim 4 trees. They quoted a reasonable price and got the job done quickly. The work however is poor. They topped all 4 trees, ruining them as far as Im concerned. They no longer look natural. No qualified arborist would top trees in this fashion. Do not recommend. read more

I've used Ramon for annual pruning of 5 of my trees for 3 years now and have always been satisfied, just as I was yesterday when his crew came out at the time promised and did the job exactly to our specs. Ramon is very easy to deal with and fair in his pricing. I would definitely recommend him. read more

Ramon's guys did some tree trimming in our backyard. His men damaged all three of our patio posts and the wood siding on the side of the house where they removed and dragged the tree branches out to the front. The damage they did was on a 2 month old remodeled home. Ramon came out and looked at the damage. He told me to have it repaired & give him the bill to pay for it. It's been 2 months now and he still has not paid for the damage. I've called him 6 times, he never returns my calls. Not the same experience that others may have had with Ramon. Very disappointing. I will be filing a complaint with BBB. I've contacted the Contractor Business License, but his license number on his business card is not valid. read more
