Quality haircut at a great price. Best in town. I come in like an unhoused, old, gritty, hideous man and leave like a king.

We love this place Ramona cuts is fabulous. My 15-year-old son will go nowhere else and he is very picky and loves this place which is saying so much. Keep up the great work highly recommend recommended thank you. read more

They were very nice. I was happy until they told me price. It was just regular women's hair cut nothing fancy. On the door it said women's cut is $30 But they charged me $42 and I gave them tip so regular hair cut cost $50. Today was my birthday I don't want to argue with them. But I was not happy about it. I am wondering that $42 is real a and regular price? Or you just charge me because i did not say anything ? read more

I went for a haircut and I was pleased with the cut. There was some confusion about who was next and all but they made it right and it's not like there was a long wait. If you pay cash, it's a $2 discount since the card merchant charges them money so it's best to pay cash. They are fast, efficient and polite. I will most likely go back and keep doing so as long as I get a sufficient haircut and service. I did not get the name of the man who cut my hair but I believe there was only one man there so that may answer that question. read more

My long time barber retired and I tried several shops in town and finally found Ramona cuts. Price was reasonable and the barber took his time to get the cut just right. He showed attention to detail that I never received elsewhere. I highly recommend this shop. read more

excellent service and people. bring cash its cheaper. been going since we moved to ramona .

Trish was very sweet, and did a nice job on my 11 year old son's hair. The place itself is pretty outdated, but clean. I wouldn't come here for anything too complicated, but it works for a quick kid's cut. read more

Amazing business. Prices are extremely reasonable. Haircut quality is amazing. The staff is perfect. I couldn't ask for anything more. Will be coming here regularly for the foreseeable future. read more

Where to begin? Went to Ramona Cutsfor a haircut a little bit ago, needed to talk to someone else that was there in order for them to translate to my barber what I actually want done. Was there for an hour and 45 minutes for what usually takes 30 minutes. Haircut ended up being awful, hairdresser definitely did not have much actual training, if any. He clipped a part above my ear to the skin, creating a bald spot, when I pointed it out, he acted confused like "How did that get there?" In the end I got a haircut that was nothing like what I actually wanted. Ended up going to a Supercuts down the hill, the hairdresser down there said she used to work at the one up in Ramona when it existed, and she said it was at least a couple times a week someone would come in there and ask them to fix a haircut that they got at Ramona Cuts. Not to mention she told me that one of her coworkers tried to get a job there, but they turned her away because she wasn't the same race as all the other employees there. Never again. read more

Big shout out to Trish, who consistently provides excellent service, beautiful trims, and the absolute BEST scalp massage in the history of shampoos. She is so sweet and kind, which is a wonderful asset in a hairdresser. She keeps me coming back to this salon, time and time again. read more

This place is way above your run-of-the-mill hair salon. Of the many different salons I've visited, the stylists here are by far the most attentive, skilled, and kind. I was very nervous to get my hair trimmed and dyed to an ash gray, considering I have pitch black hair, but I was absolutely blown away with the beautiful ombré. Just look! I couldn't be happier; they have an absolutely AMAZING and expert team!! If you're looking for a hair salon that will style you exactly how you want, look no further. read more

I walked in around 11am on an early weekday and was almost immediately seated. The barber went the extra mile with service and took a lot of care with his work. read more

I have been coming here for years. Trish knows exactly how to cut my hair without me guessing what size comb on the buzzer, or how much I want off the top. She just remembers how I like it. She also recalls details of our conversations over the years. But this is nothing new, she remembered my name even on my second visit. Give them a try, and I recommend asking for Trish. read more

We moved to Ramona a few years ago. It was too far to keep going to the lady who cut it for years. First lady I had at Ramona Cuts left. I tried Trish and have been very happy with her. She listens and cuts very well! I plan to keep coming here for years or at least as long as we stay in Ramona. read more

I took my 12 year old daughter there to get her hair trimmed... she was taken back by an older woman and the woman never asked me what I wanted done. I came up and told her we'd like about 3" off. The lady seemed to struggle with my daughter's thick, waivy hair and used a shaver, which I thought was odd. She charged me $37 for a trim, which I think is outrageously high, and then, when we got home, I noticed the left side was longer than the right and there were long pieces that she missed. I will definitely not be going back. read more

RAMONA CUTS I had some time yesterday, normally I would have an appointment. I only had a short wait. I have recommended Ramona Cuts to my friends, and they have told me "the best haircut I have ever had!" I agree 100% and yesterday was no different. I highly recommend Ramona Cuts, simply the Best! read more

iLast minute decision. Wanted cut and color. I knew I didn't have time for color but wanted to go anyway. They were so great, even staying late for me. Color cut and waxed for a great price and i feel beautiful! Myself, my son, and both my niece and nephew go there. Great service and more hospitality then some local supposedly high end places. Thank you guys for getting me ready for vacation!!! See you soon! read more

Always get my haircut here. They have a great attention to detail! Definitely would recommend. Good prices too

The day before Thanksgiving I needed a haircut pretty badly. I was seriously leaving town in a few days to see my boyfriend in Europe, and wanted to look great, of course. My previous hairdresser works out of Bonita, but I was short on time and money, especially on the busiest travel day of the year when freeways are always jammed. I didn't want to spend three hours getting a haircut. I looked for a reasonable local place and found Ramona Cuts. The reviews looked very good, so I took a gamble and called for an appointment with Trish. I was somewhat amazed she could see me on the same day, but gladly took the late afternoon time slot. I arrived on time. She was ready for me. I told her I liked my current style; I just wanted the ends removed. She did exactly that: very efficiently. Her cutting technique is somewhat out of the ordinary, which kinda scared me at first, but by the time she was done I was very pleased. Trish is very concerned about every customer who walks in her door. She says hello and goodbye, making sure that people sign in if they don't have an appointment. By the time I left there was a room FULL of walk-in clients waiting patiently.... No one was complaining about the wait, and it's no wonder. I got out of there for $22 and my hair looked great. I have bangs, and often they're cut too short, but she did everything perfectly. I'm confident that the rest of the staff performs comparably, since she recommends them. This place is nestled into the Stater Bros. strip mall behind Wendy's. I say that because I couldn't find it at first. From the outside it looks like a barber shop, but their end results are much more like a high end salon. Darned right I'm coming back... To Heck with driving 40 miles to Bonita just to pay twice as much. read more

Great customer service and they don't do anything you didn't ask for so that's a relief. And the don't pressure you into cutting more.

Wendy was my stylist and she was amazing! I knew I had dead ends and I needed to chop some hair. But surprisingly enough, I didn't need to cut as much as I thought. She took off about 1.5-2 inches, and added layers. Then she offered to style it beautifully to show me how gorgeous it'll flow with the new layers. I'll definitely be back. Not only that, you're not being charged an arm and a leg like most salons! Thank you again, Wendy! read more

Trish did a wonderful job on my color and haircut! She used techniques during my coloring to make the color last longer in my grays and short hair. That color has lasted over 3 months now with very little fading- and it's Red! Will definitely be back! Thank you read more

My daughter and I wanted our hair cut today so we called several places before speaking to Trish, who told us to be here at 2:30. We were seen promptly and Tammy colored and cut my hair. I was so impressed and happy with the way it turned out as well as my Daughters hair. I was going to send my daughter to get us water and both Tammy and Trish were more than happy to offer us not only water, but hot cocoa and chips! My phone was ready to die and they even leant me a charger for my phone! These lovely ladies are class acts who cater to their clients. I noticed that everyone who came in for services were all return customers and Trish remembered each one of them. We are going to be among those returning customers. I highly recommend this place if you want great service and a wonderful atmosphere!!! Thank you Trish and Tammy, my husband says I look younger! read more

Today was the second time I went to Ramona Cuts. Love them! I used to go elsewhere, but taking into consideration wait times, price, and the stylists, I'll definitely be going back! The ladies are very nice and attentive and made sure to confirm exactly what I wanted and what it would look like afterwards. They're pleasant to chat with, even though I'm not a big talker when I get my hair done (I always feel relaxed when I get the shampoo and conditioner and this time was no different). It almost felt like she took an extra minute to work in the product today as well. It felt like a massage! All sorts of people were in their shop today: men, woman, and children. They can do it all! read more

Needed a trim quickly and didn't want to pay $40. So I was do happy I foubd this place! I'm the world's most horrible driver and had to go on this freaking canyon just to get here but it was worth it! Got a haircut with layers and took about 2 inches off my damaged hair. 35 mins later I walked out with a new hairstyle for only $25 bucks! The staff is super friendly and made me feel comfortable. Would definitely return if im in the area since I'm from OC. Now... To make the ride back down the canyon to escondido :( read more

I went here while visiting my parents and really needed a cut. Wendy was amazing. My hair before had been growing out a pixie cut for 7 months so It didn't look great. Wendy made my hair look AMAZING without taking too much length off. Highly recommend. read more

I usually like going to get my hair cuts here, however I spent an hour and a half waiting for my turn. I had 2 names ahead of me. Both were males and I was waiting for the lady. Another lady with 3 kids walked in. Apparently the boy belonged to her. The lady calls my name and tells her I was next. (Yeah cuz the other lady had just sat down) the son says no my mom is . Wha?! Where the heck was your mom for the last hour and a half since I have been sitting here. So she takes the little girls. At this point it was well past 6 at night. I got up and left. If they had 4 kids haircuts to do there should have been some indication of that on the sign up sheet. You can't put one name down and it counts for 4. That is just rude. The poor lady would have had to work till 8 pm to get us all done. Bad business practice. read more
