I have been in Ramona for 2 years and every time i needed a haircut, they always got it done right. The staff is friendly to everybody and they welcome them into their shop like they are family. They have some busy days, however i assure you that your haircut times are not as long as other places despite they are busy. This place is awesome! My friend has long thick hair and wanted to cut it off into a long bob, which is a big job. We came in at 4:30 on a Sunday and they said we could be accommodated even though they close at 5:00 on Sundays. My friend is also blind and Tammy did an extraordinary job on her hair! We opted for the whole works: wash, cut, and blow dry. Tammy was personable and made my friend feel at home while she got her hair cut. And I might add that several more people came in after us, and the salon accommodated every single one of them even though it was after hours. My hair was in ruins/tangles for days. They toke 3 hrs to deep condition and comb through my hair. The $45 deep condition or something like that was totally worth it! My hair is so sleek, shiny and totally much more healthy! The hair stylists are nice and do so well read more

I do not recommend ! I will never return with any member of my family. I specifically asked for a stylist that was very experienced with really curly hair. She asked what style and please show her a picture. My grandson said very clearly he wanted it left long over his ears, just trimmed up in back and showed her a picture. I requested his hair be shampooed and conditioned first because he had some tangles that needed to be combed out. She repeated everything we asked for and checked out his hair before taking him back. The end result looked nothing like the picture she requested. The shampoo and conditioning was not done until after I complained when I saw how short she was cutting his hair and asked why she wasn't doing as requested and she cut all his hair off instead of before so his hair could be combed out. His hair is well above his ears, 1/2 inch long in some areas, longer in others and is all different lengths. . He asked me if I could even it up when we returned home. read more

Friendly service. Didn't have to wait. But...........the girl closest to the door is a thinning shears fanatic! I have naturally short, thick hair and like it that way. Apparently she didn't. I'm quite sure, now that it's been several days, that I've got half the hair (thickness) that I had when I went in. She buzzed with an electric razor to make parts of my hair lay flat. Trish, owner of Ramona Cuts, has been cutting my hair for 6 plus years. I have very challenging hair, and I am convinced that absolutely no one could cut it with the expertise that she does!
