Be True Salon - Love, love, love my color - Hair Salons Near Me - Ramona, California

Came here for a haircut for the first time in probably 3-4 years so it was much needed! I had Rachel and she did an amazing job. She helped me figure out what would look best on me, and she was very friendly. Look forward to coming back! read more

I saw Rachel McDaniel yesterday for the first time. My hair was terrible. Box color all throughout, split ends and tangles. She did my color and it came out so nice and used a great product with no ammonia. The cut was perfect and my hair feels so healthy now. She cut the dead ends off but gave me a great style and kept the length. She's so full of personality and super fun to talk to. The price was amazing. $25 off for new clients. Go see her! All of the ladies there are so sweet and welcoming. The salon overall was so cute and inviting. read more

Requested a fade on the sides and back, with short hair on top that naturally flows to my side. Loved the result! I have very thick hair and Rachel thinned it so it's more manageable. She has experience at designer barber shops so she knows how to detail short hair, as well as long. I highly recommend Rachel at Be True Salon. read more

Michelle is beyond amazing. I can't tell you how good she is, because words can't express her talent. I drive from Santee to Ramona, because I trust Michelle. If you want someone you can trust, it's this salon. read more

I have been searching for a top notch hairdresser to do blonde highlights to my thinning mousy brown hair. I had been referred to Michelle Neal Fry at Be True Salon so I made an appointment in hopes that my hair would turn out just as I had visioned. The BEST highlights I have ever had! Michelle is professional, kind and exceptionally skilled. I finally found my hair person forever! Looking forward to my next appointment!! Be True Salon - Hair Salons Near Me - Ramona, California

I've been going to Michelle to get my hair done for probably 4 years now. I started with her when she was down In Santee, then La Mesa and now she owns Be True in Ramona. My hair consistently looks the way I want, color is always good, I always say no yellow in my blonde! I did have Tiffany cut it once due to a scheduling snafu and she did great too. The salon is cute, clean and has off street parking. It's on a quiet little street and easy to get in and out of.If you want nice hair at what I'd consider a reasonable price these days, make an appointment, bring an inspo Pic or two if to want and be prepared to walk out happy. read more

I was seen by Michelle. I needed a touch up cut and color fix. She did great. Very customer friendly, listened, and went above and beyond with my hair. I will be back. read more

I don't like having to leave bad reviews but i had a terrible experience at this salon. It had nothing to do with the salon itself. It was nice and clean. It had to do with my cut. Here's a pic of what i wanted and a pic of what i got. I cried the whole way home. UPDATE: I got a text at 7am pretty much blaming me, blaming my hair, blaming the photos. But then offers for me to come back in, sure like that wouldn't be completely awkward and uncomfortable. Yelp is not just a place for good reviews, its to let everyone know your experience of a place. And i think texting a customer at 7am blaming them for their bad haircut is rude and Unprofessional. So thanks for the offer but i will not be coming back in read more

I have never had more compliments on my hair color and style as I do now!! I can't say enough great things about Michelle and her salon. I am constantly changing my mind: bangs, no bangs, long, short... Michelle's patience with me is unending. And despite my ever-changing mind, she always delivers the look I am after, time after time. And even with my thin and aging hair, she does amazing work with color and cut to maximize the body and minimize the grey! If I could give her 10 stars, I would! read more

WOW!!! Just WOW! Be True Salon is a true hidden gem right in the heart of Ramona. It's been a very long time since I've LOVED my hair. I've always had long, straight and thick hair. With age came the gray hairs and I was finding myself in a funk. I found out Michelle was coming to Ramona over a year ago and it was life changing for me. Not loving my hair and needing a fresh new look WITHOUT breaking the bank. Michelle worked her magic with a new cut, still keeping my hair long and color without highlights or any other fancy changes (through its all available and she is VERY talented) Michelle did not once try to upsell me with products, it's all beautifully displayed and available. No pressure in any way. The salon is a very upscale without all the upscale cost. It's clean, comfortable, airy and with very friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend Be True Salon, you will not be disappointed with any of the stylists. You will be disappointed you had not found Be True Salon sooner. read more

AMAZING FIND in Ramona! I'm so hesitant to switch hair stylist that I fly to see my parents in Iowa to use the same one I've had for 14 years! I decided to try a local place and so happy that I finally did. Michelle was awesome. Took her time and listened to me and spent a ton of time just chatting. I loved the space and the ladies were super nice. I'm now a regular clients of hers And her daughter now also works there so ask for her or Tiffany! You won't be disappointed. read more

This place is DEFINITELY a must go. Ramona has many hairdressers to choose from but none as experienced and talented as Michelle. Michelle can cut, color, do hair extensions. I have been using her for a few years now and she always knocks it out of the park. read more

Michelle does an awesome job and I always leave a happy customer! I definitely recommend her.

The customer service is very rude, impatient and dismissive. No wonder they weren't busy
