Be up front before you touch someones hair. The price chart said highlights for $99 +. I have short hair(a bob). I asked on the call how much my length would cost. I was charged $148 dollars, I asked why, I was told the toner was $45. Prices should be clearly shared. Don't claim a price then add and add...on top of that, a blow dry is an additional $15. So $163 with a blow dry. Also, no one told me when I made the appointment that I'd be charged 3% for using my card to pay. If they could have been up front and inform me each cost instead of making it look affordable. In my opinion, I could have gone to a nice salon for that price. read more

I tried not to write this and give them a chance, reached out to the manager to talk it out, said she would look into it and call me back, never did. So in additional to this review I have submitted a complaint with BBB and Board of Barbering and Cosmetology for the discrimination my family received when they just tried to get color and cut for my 10 year old niece. To start, my cousin and niece came in and discussed with the stylist what my niece wanted, and were quoted a price that they agreed on. Now my cousins English is 50/50, but my niece understands it perfectly. My cousin stepped out of the salon, and the Hairdresser Ana stated to another hairdresser " lets add up the charges, they wont know the difference of what we are doing, these are the type of people to do it to". They then proceeded to add an extra $150 on to the additional charges , trying to say something about extra color (never asked for). My cousin said that's not what we agreed on and so Ana said well I guess I can give you a discount. At the end my Cousin ended up paying $50 more than what was initially quoted. My niece left the salon with her hair looking almost exactly as when she came in, if they did highlights you cant tell, and her hair was cut uneven. I called the manager to discuss, she said she would look into it and call me back, but never did. They took advantage of someone they saw didn't speak English well, and this type of discrimination does not sit well with me. read more

I should have known to run when the stylist,Rose, parked her car next to mine and opened her door into my car side panel. Thankfully no damage but not even a "sorry". I asked for blonde to cover my grey grow out roots. I told her I was growing my hair longer and the sides were just above my chin. When she mixed the product I reminded her that I wanted it blonde, I told her it looked very dark before she washed it out. She was sure it would be blonde when it dried. Well, it's not. I'm now a brunette. And then she cut my hair short on one side, so both side are cut to mid ear. She did try to correct it by adding blonde highlights after my styling was done. I have been going to Rose for my haircuts and treatments for just under one decade! She is amazing!! She is so kind and accommodating. If you're looking for just a simple haircut or looking to completely change up your hairstyle, go to Rose she is amazingggg! I scheduled an appointment with Miriam for a simple layered haircut. I show up a few minutes late and she is still with another client and attends to me after about 10 more minutes, mostly chatting. Once it's my turn I show a picture of the style I want (pictured below), which is a nice layered haircut with curtain bangs a bit below the shoulder, which she said she could do. She washes my hair, cuts it, etc. within a span of 30 minutes, obviously in a hurry, which was weird because I had made an appointment with her. She did not speak to me the entire time and was not friendly like she was with her other client, whereas I was very polite. Another client walks in and after rushing some more, Miriam starts attending to him WHILE styling my hair in the middle of our appointment, and unlike with me she talks to him, is friendly with him, etc. Some other woman who I didn't schedule with and did not even ask what hairstyle I asked for began to cut my hair a little more when Miriam went with her other client... how rude. This resulted in my bangs getting super short which I didn't ask for!!! At first I was satisfied with the end result because of the way they styled it. But they did not offer me a mirror to see the back (which they did to the client before me) and I couldn't even see the back of my hair, which was a BIG mistake. I came home and looked at the back in a mirror and this haircut looked NOTHING like the reference photo I showed Miriam. Not even the bangs. It was poorly and barely layered and too much below the shoulder than I asked, especially since I have straighter hair and they curled it, making it look like it was the right length which was very deceiving. The bangs, which were supposed to be a lot longer "curtain" bangs, are also not the same length. I'm super disappointed and I had high hopes for this salon and the good reviews of Miriam but she was cold, unfriendly, and didn't treat me like her other customers. I will post a picture of how she cut my hair versus what I asked for below. I'm very sad. I am only giving an extra star because this haircut isn't bad, it's just not what I asked for and was not worth $45 plus tip. read more

I found this salon recommended on next door and was so happy with my experience here. When I called initially to make an appointment, they took time to ask me questions and actually listened to concerns I had. I told them that I had a tricky hair situation and needed a professional opinion badly. The minute I walked into the salon, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Miriam and Ana were both amazing. Miriam helped me make an informed color decision and it turned out beautifully. I have so much hair and both Miriam and Ana made sure that everything was done carefully and correctly. I'm also pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair, so having someone take the time to discuss coloring options made all the difference. I felt like they really care about the outcome and that I felt comfortable with the color decision. I highly recommend this salon and will definitely be coming back for future trims/colors. I found this spot on Groupon and called them to make an appointment, I was traveling and had to get my Brazilian blowout in 3 days and they gladly accommodated me. I found myself in a clean salon with the warmest of women, these women were so hard working and inspiring Anna who did my hair had just come back from overseas trip the same morning but did not show any fatigue and grump. I love how my hair is now I just I let it air dry and it shiny and beautiful. The lady who started touching my hair used a brush on me that was dirty! It was previously used on an Ethiopian woman and never cleaned before brushing my hair!! I took a photo of the hair- she thought she was slick and threw the hair on floor behind me. Top of of that, chemicals were left on my hair for nearly an hour causing my hair to fry and break all over my head. I do not recommend this place.
