I had mod the wheels from 17 too 18 and decided to go to Discount Tire ( where I get most of my tires over the years) to start at the wheels and all the basics before doing the tie rods. Turns out the Tires were ok, one off an ounce on balance. The issue was the Toes were out of whack, while on the rack to look at that one ( very good tech) looked and saw that the tie rods were perfect.
