Most of the chilli pots were low. By noon, several were empty. By 12:20 pm, they were all gone except one which was a "white chili" that no one seemed to want to try. Bottom line, very disappointed. I kind of feel like I got tricked into driving all the way down there just to make a $20 donation to the rotary club. I could have done that vie email. The only reason I gave them two stars is the Rotary club does good things and I don't mind making the $20 donation. I just wish I did not have to spend $25 in gas to get there and back to give them my $20.

The venues: So far the venues have all been classy and fun: The Clubhouse Restaurant at South Coast Plaza, Dave and Busters at the Spectrum, Fox Grill at the Spectrum, Zmario restaurant in Irvine, Yacht Cruise on Newport Bay, the list goes on and on. I always have a good time meeting with folks and the venue plays a part in the atmosphere for everyone. People like having fun and when they are having fun they are relaxed and more interactive with one another. I have gotten business and referrals within one month of joining this group. That is considered pretty rapid within the networking community. I am extremely happy with this group and would wholeheartedly reccomend RBN to anyone looking to expand their network while having fun.

Surprisingly we were offered a spot at the retreat due to last minute cancellations. We were in a campers dorm. There were four of us and the accommodations were clean and roomy. We each took a section of the campers dorm. We had privacy since the dorm area was not full. There were large bunk bed frames so taking your own sleeping bags and pillows is a must. I liked that the restroom was inside the cabin. The rates for the retreat are affordable and reasonable. Meals are included and accommodations are good but don't expect a hotel room. You are in camper mode. I am thankful that God led me to a place of serene support and love. The staff were attentive and great. The variety of activities and information was just what I didn't know I needed. Lots of self-care opportunities. I made lifelong friends there. The women inspired me to face whatever challenges may come in life. So many women in one place genuinely supporting and caring for you was EXTRAORDINARY.
