Backstory: We had cracks in our garage and front foyer as well as some brick work in an opposite corner. Ram Jack measured everything a few years back but it was considered settling issues from a house built in the 90's. This year we've had another crack in the garage so in 8 years one of the front corners dropped another inch (there's a ditch there between the 2 houses which may have caused the issue). Time to get another check/estimate and the info and estimate for 7 posts to bedrock were reasonable and liked the Ram Jack concept over the stacked piers option. I can't speak to value since we didn't get other bids but they were under the price point we thought it should be (hard to come by these days when everything is going up in costs) so we went forward with the project. Review: All interactions with initial engineer (Ryan) compiling the estimate, 2nd engineer ensuring readings and estimate are on point to the install with Miguel and team were all positive. They answered any questions I had. Provided info I didn't even think of and all the cracks on lift day were squished back to where they should have stayed if the foundation hadn't failed. We have had some bricks cracking and some Sheetrock cracking for several years. It is always best to catch a problem as early as possible so Ram Jack came out and did a full evaluation. Their findings were that our foundation has some slight elevation changes, but not enough to worry about at this time. It's nice to have someone give you an honest evaluation, and if I ever start to have problems I will be calling them back. read more

This review is only based on our experience, using their polyurethane fill to raise our pool deck. The tech was having problems filling, stating it was taking more foam than he thought. After it was done, we are left with a deck that didn't lift at all and several cracks pushing up our deck where it lifted too much. Told there was nothing they could do. We understand but we aren't happy and would never recommend a project like this for Ram Jack. read more

I got the free inspection but was required to pay in advance $500 for the other service. The Agreement read "payment due upon completion." After some thought I began to worry about the things I was told that weren't adding up. My gut said "Cancel. Go no further." I asked for a refund and they said they'd get back to me. I'm being told contradictory excuses for refund delay that's ludicrous...."the owner is out of the country and only SHE does refunds!" Gimme a break! Sketchy disingenuous people. I would not recommend using Ram Jack if you are planning to sell or rent your house if that's the case they charge $250 just to come back to the property even if you want to do additional work and you just want an estimate so we decided to quote with Power Jack they also did work on another rental and they don't charge to come back definitely not for rental owners. Stephen just for your information we did used Ram Jack in the past, we owned the property for more than 20 years, and we're not looking for the lowest price just someone reliable that is not going to charge for coming back. Now that we need additional work all I was looking was for an estimate. We have used Power Jack and Strong Pier in other rentals in the past and they don't charge a fee for coming back. Ram Jack charges $250 for an estimate. They came in several thousand dollars higher than the two other bids I received. I guess I thought that since they weren't a small city vendor like the other two that they might be a little more affordable. They are ridiculously expensive. Don't make the same mistake I did. If you don't have someone local you might check out Olshan. They're not cheap but they don't charge for an estimate. read more

This is the second time we have used them. The first was 9 piers on the west side of our home--9 piers with no problems. This is 15 years later and 23 piers on the front (south side) and east side of our home and patio (north side). Both times we have used them has been great. The best part of their work is they worked around our plants and didn't use any ditches. They made holes at the point of where a pier goes and that doesn't cause any garden problems. Would use them again and recommend them to our friends and acquaintances. read more

I would NEVER recommend Ram Jack. VERY SHADY!! Insisted on $150 cash up front & provided nothing. No follow up, they just disappear once they take your cash. It felt like a drug deal gone bad. Shame I can not give zero stars. Follow up: Bobby called me to ask what RamJack could do to fix this. To which I replied, refunding my money would be a good start. Bobby informed me, checks in the mail. I waited over a week, no check. I called them again & finally they had a refund check hand delivered. They are now wanting me to know why I have not yet taken my comments off the BBB & Yelp... I'm tempted to reply, "It's in the mail." ...maybe in a week. read more

I bought into Ramjack as the previous owner had used them to install piers. I needed additional piers and so I called them. The technician/salesman was fair and honest, and the work was done competently and respectful of my property. The workers cut a water supply line when installing an interior pier. They fixed it and all seemed well. A few months later we began noticing hotspots on our floor, but it took a few weeks for us to connect the problem with our supply line, and to Ramjack. Donna sent plumbers to investigate not once, but twice. In the end, it was inconclusive as to the source of the leak. While it may have been due to Ramjack's work, there were other extenuating factors that one could interpret as an unrelated problem. FYI - I had my own plumber investigate and arrive at the same inconclusive opinion. Ramjack was willing to re-excavate the pier to fix any issue they might have caused. However, when I offered to split the cost of abandoning the supply line in favor of a PEX line through the attic, they agreed. I am impressed with Ramjack's willingness to stand behind their work, and their flexibility in agreeing to my unconventional offer. Yes, they charge a little more, but they have convinced me they will stick with their customers and do the right thing. Donna, the person I communicated with nearly every day through the ordeal was fantastic! She was fair and honest, always positive, and proactive in her communication. And, she was going through her own homeowner problems at the very same time... yet she was always great to work with. read more

The person we bought our house had them do the foundation. They had the transferable contact.When we started to have a slight foundation problem, we called them. They refused to come out till we paid the transfer fee. We paid. They showed up walked around then said they no longer covered our particular foundation. Pier and beam . But could make recommendation for another company. They would not return the transfer fee. read more

Buyer beware! We recently purchased a house with a ram jack warranty. We contacted the company and told them that we had purchased the house. I didn't receive anything from them so I thought that was everything I needed to do to transfer the warranty since they had taken all of my information. Six months after purchasing the house we had an obvious foundation issue. I contacted ram jack and they said I had not changed the warranty over and it was void. They would not cover any cost of the repair. The person that I spoke to was much less than cordial and offered no assistance. I firmly believe that if additional action was required to transfer the warranty that should have told me while I was on the phone with them. I believe that information was purposefully left out of the conversation. I did a little research and found out that this is a common thing for ram jack and was told that they often find things that allow them not to honor a previous warranty. We contacted another foundation company and learned that the foundation had shifted in the exact place that ram jack had corrected before. We paid $8,400 to have it corrected a second time. Olshan gave us an excellent price compared to what ram Jack had charged before for the exact same repair. We are happy with the repair done by olshan and received a clean warranty that name's only two things that could void it. I will never use ram Jack. I would suggest that you shop around as well. read more
