I got 4 estimates. Pinnacle, Olshans, Groundworks and Williamson. Williamson was the only company offering to adjust the existing peirs. They also added new piers and even found 2 piers missing the previous company charged for but didn't install. They were easy to contact and follow up was good. On the advice of the estimator, I had plumbing work completed on my home several months preceding my foundation repair. I was told that they would be careful and work to prevent damage to my new pipes. Shame on me for listening to him. After $14k in brand new plumbing and over $6k in foundation work, I'm now back at square one and need another tunneling job with extensive plumbing repair. Although the employees are friendly, do not listen to their advice regarding plumbing. It will inevitably damage your pipework no matter if the job is new or old. When contacted, I was basically told, "Sorry, it happens." I don't mind paying to have services completed; I just don't want to have to do it twice. read more

Deciding on a company to choose for foundation work is a bit intimidating. Especially given there are no real laws governing this type of business. However...I got a great review/referral from a friend about Williamson, and I have not been disappointed. Norman did a thorough review and estimate for me-and suggested I get a structural engineer report to verify his findings. I did, and Williamson followed the report down to the last detail-41 piers! The crew was at my home for four days, everything was done as promised, they were respectful, cleaned-up beautifully, and kept me informed every step of the way. What could have been a tension-filled experienced turned out to be run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. I called this company weeks ago along with 3 other companies. I never received a call back to schedule a visit or even a response. I then called again yesterday to see if we can schedule something. I was told by the recetionist or lady who answered that I will get a follow up call with the scheduler. I then get the call from the scheduler only to be told they are months out and can't service my job. She proceeded to calling me a jackass then hung up. 100% unprofessional company due to representation from this lady. I had several bids on the house I need repaired, there are much better companies online than this one. read more

UPDATE: The effort by Williamson Foundation Repair to mitigate the issues described in my original review are commendable. My thanks to the office staff, the crew members who replenished the landscaping rock, and to Mr. Williamson for following up. ORIGINAL REVIEW: We opted to use this company to adjust 17 piers as recommended by an engineering report. No warranty was given because the adjustments were done to existing piers not installed by Williamson Foundation Repair. This was expected and is not why I give Williamson Foundation Repair one star. The foundation engineer referred us to five foundation companies, and we chose Williamson Foundation Repair because of the competitive price and organized way they handled their quote/billing. The reason for one star is because of the following: First, the foundation engineer recommended having pictures taken of each pier adjustment before backfilling and field notes from the adjustment results be provided to the foundation engineer. I made these requests in writing to Williamson Foundation Repair to which they agreed to do so. I repeated these requests to the site foreman once work began. He also agreed. I followed up with Williamson Foundation Repair after the work was done to confirm this information was sent to the foundation engineer. Neither request was honored. The foundation engineer now has no way of ensuring the work was performed to specification other than him performing a follow up measurement. I also have no record that 17 piers were adjusted. Second, the work area was completely decimated after work was done. Landscaping rock was haphazardly moved out of the way, commingled with the clay soil, and a portion of which must now be replenished because it was buried with the backfilling. Steal shims were strewn throughout the backfilled soil, making it difficult to spread the mounds of soil left from the backfilling. Foundation irrigation drip lines were moved out of the way but were not moved back to their original location. I would not recommend using Williamson Foundation Repair. read more

Williamson Foundation came and worked leveling my house in March of 2015. They proceeded with the work, leveled the house and gave their "lifetime warranty" and charged me $10,500.00. Around two years later the piers had failed to hold. I contacted Williamson and they returned and inspected the house and said 3 additional piers were needed on the southwest side of the house at an additional cost of $1,380.00. That area of the house had no problems. I realized however, that they wouldn't return to fix the east side of the house without paying the additional money so I agreed to the proposal as the original problem was getting worse. It took more than 2 months for them to return. They came and shimmed up under the original piers. They then dug 3 holes along the southwest side of the house. When they jacked the slab up it cracked and the far west end of the house fell. I asked the foreman to correct this to which he replied he was being paid to put in 3 piers and could do nothing more. By putting in piers where none were needed a problem was created where none had previously existed. Williamson's stated that, "once a pier is installed it cannot be removed", is false. All this crew did was dig down 18-20 inches, drop a concrete block in the hole, jack up the slab, then put other blocks on top. No fresh concrete was poured and no rebar was used. NONE. They were leaving two hours after arrival. I know this is frustrating for them as it is for me. The house is much worse than it was when they started and I need it corrected and want them to honor their commitment to warranty work. That is it. All the posted pictures were taken AFTER the additional piers were added. As you can see, I had the house painted thinking the foundation was fixed, the fix actually causing significant damage. They bathtub on that side of the house no longer drains, holding over TWO INCHES of water, the drop off is so significant. I would gladly change this review if they would simply level my home, once and for all. read more

Phil came in on time and did a thorough check of my house including the garage since I noticed the crack above my family room window looks like getting bigger than what I saw in 2016 when I bought this 1989 build house. Phil spent his time more than twice than the other two foundation repair companies and advised me that the foundation is just fine, no need to repair!! My friend who is in the real estate business and also has some engineering background also advised me nothing to wrong. All in all, I would highly recommend Wiiliamson Foundation to my neighbors and friends.
