Ram cleaning assured my husband and I that they were capable and equipped to handle the post renovation cleaning of our first ever house flip. From the moment I got off the phone, it was one nightmare after another starting with them going to the wrong address which delayed the job by a day and put the maids inside the actual home while we were having it professionally staged. This was a giant inconvenience but we were willing to let it go until we looked at the cleaning job. We had been billed almost four hundred dollars and it looked horrible and took several pictures to prove it. I had to spend an additional 5 hours cleaning before we had our first showing. I attempted to talk to someone about it, was flat out ignored and when I finally got a hold of the supervisor, she accused me of being insensitive to her daughters illness which caused her to be off and unable to return any of my calls or emails (for over a week). She did say she would review my photos and get back to me but once again... Crickets! I was hoping for someone to speak with me and at least make an effort to make things right but that never happened and I eventually went right to the head office where I was asked what the hell it was I wanted and belittled in front of an entire room of staff. I asked for some compensation and this woman (not the maid supervisor) said that wouldn't be happening and basically laughed in my face which upset me deeply and I felt completely powerless and disrespected. According to these people, there are no managers to deal with these kinds of issues, just the supervisors and it was obvious that they didn't not care whether I was satisfied or not. It was all so messed up and since then I have heard many other complaints about their customer service. I usually don't write bad reviews but this experience was so so bad, I thought it should be posted. If you are thinking about using Ram, please reconsider. read more

RAM wrecked our carpet! Took our rug to RAM for deep cleaning. When we picked it up it was ruined and then were asked to pay for it. Only after agreeing carpoet was ruined we got the "I guess we won't charge you for it". Not mention of compensation. They suggested that if we wanted compensation we should take them to small claims court. I am out a $1000 rug. There were a bunch of excuses and blaming. No accountability or customer service. Stay away from RAM unless you want your stuff ruined! read more

We recently had listed our house. We were scheduled for an open house on Saturday so we called Ram to come clean our blinds. They came picked them up and returned them several days later. We let them do their work and paid them and they left. I then started opening the blinds and to my surprise some were not cleaned at all and the ones that were were had water spots all over. I immediately contacted Ram and they asked me to send pictures. I did and they agreed they could do a much better job and there should not be any water spots at all. So they said they would send someone out to fix it. Well this girl came in with no supplies and was using water from the tap to try to remove water spots. She was unsuccessful and she contacted dispatch and they were supposed to schedule them to be removed and cleaned again. Holly in dispatch is a bloody liar and should be ashamed of herself for her conduct. She has lied endlessly and we still have not seen anyone yet. She says there is a process to go through. Well its been three months now. I have contacted them a half dozen times on this. Long and short the morning of our open house we were doing the job they were hired to do ourselves. Lastly if you do hire them I suggest you inspect their work before you pay them. read more

Extremely disappointed with my RAM Cleaning Services experience and subsequent attempts to get any sort of response from their customer service. On July 19th we trusted RAM with the cleaning services prior to the closing sale of our home. Following the buyer walk though of our home it was determined that the home had not been professionally cleaned, which caused my wife and I to spend hours cleaning the home to save the sale. I was charged $450 by RAM with no invoice left at my home. On July 20th we contacted RAM by email and phone and were told we would receive a call back by the end of business day, which never happened. We have placed multiple calls and emails over the past 2 weeks with nothing back from RAM. I would not recommend using/ trusting RAM with your cleaning services. read more

If I could give a minus 5 rating I would! We recently found out that our 7 week old baby girl was extremely allergic to our animals (epi pen in reach allergic) I ended up having to evacuate our house and move in with my parents till we could rehome our animals and clean the house/filter our inside air. Anyways, we found new homes for our fur babies, got the ducts cleaned and invested in an IQ air filteration system and the last thing we needed to do was get the house cleaned from top to bottom (practically everything you could see inside the house needed to be wiped down and disinfected) I called Ram and asked if they did this type of service, explaining how seviere her allergies were and how important it was that everything needed to be spotless. The lady on the phone (kim I believe) reassured me that this could be done and that it would take 12 maid hours to complete. I booked two girls for 6 hours each and then an upholsterey cleaner on top of that to do our couch and dining room chairs. I was so excited that this was going to be done and that we could finally come home and get back to our normal lives. Well that was NOT the case!! When I arrived back at my house I could see streaks of dust and hair all over the place! There were shelves that hadn't even been dusted and clumps of pet hair along the baseboards! My daughter immediately got hives and swelled up, I had to give her a shot of Benadryl and keep her right beside the IQ air system so she could breathe. I took pictures of everything that was missed, getting angrier as i went through the house and saw how much stuff was missed or only cleaned half assed. I also saw on the bill they left that there was only one girl who showed up (Tracy) and that she worked for only 7 hours (just over half of what I was promised). I called Ram and explained what had happen and that I wanted a refund cause it didn't even come close to the type of clean I needed and was promised (this was a matter of my baby's health after all, and by not completing it, it put her health at risk) The lady said she would need to "investigate" and that she would get back to me (She never did). The next day my parents and brother drove 2 1/2 hours to my place to help me clean it properly cause there was no way I was getting Ram back here to do more shitty work and I couldn't do it all by myself (which in the end took the four of us 5 1/2 hours). That same morning, as I was out buying more cleaning supplies, I got a call from Ram to see if I enjoyed my clean. I told the new lady the same thing and that I was even more angry now that no one had gotten back to me about it. I asked her for an email address I could send my photos to so she could see exactly why I was so upset about it all. Later that afternoon I got a call from the supervisor and she tried to tell me that the dust that was there was "settling dust" and that it was common. (There was no F*****G way it was settling dust! It was clearly missed, like if you were to wipe your finger across a dusty table) she also said that i scheduled 12 hours and only 7 were used so she wanted me to book the remaining hours so they could "finish" the work! ‍ I explained that time was of the essence and that if I knew the work wasn't compete I wouldn't have come back home and put my daughter at risk. I also asked why I wasn't informed that there would only be one girl coming and that they wouldn't be able to give me the amount of hours I scheduled. She had no answer. I swear I was on the phone with this lady for an hour and she only kept repeating herself over and over again, excuse after excuse, with no budge on what they could do to remedy their mistakes. After arguing back and forth with her I finally snapped and told her not only did they mess up but they haven't even been remotely sorry or given me an apology for what had happen to my daughter because of their mistake. She then gave a really shitty apology (with a TON of attitude) and said that I gave her a few things that she'd need to look into further and that she'd get back to me. I still haven't herd back from her and don't know if I ever will. So... if you want a good cleaning job and good customer service, please go somewhere else cause you're definitely NOT going to get it from Ram. read more

I am seriously at the end of my rope with this company, who I've been using for over a year to clean my house. They are inconsistent and most definitely not committed to customer service. After a particularly bad experience where my shower was left dirty, kitchen sink missed, and a variety of other issues, I called to file a complaint and ask for compensation. Not only I am insulted with the 10% they offered me, but was told my follow up call (which I had to make myself since it took 5 days for them to call me) was buried in a 'pile' of other calls. Oh, they also said they'd like to come and reassess my costs (after a year) which I'm assuming means my costs will go up. What does that tell you? Very unhappy with the level of service, quality and customer service to resolve issues. Get with it RAM! There are other options out there.... read more

Have used Ram Cleaning Services for years, various applications. Upon very recently having our D'Stairs Carpets cleaned, I felt I would share with others the great service I received. The technician was excellent, showed up on time, got the job done quickly, and beyond my expectation. Did that little extra that which so well adds to the service. I've used Ram before and was very happy with them. This time around was no different. Kingsley did a great job on cleaning my furnace and vents. I laid out the ground rules on his arrival. 1) Don't touch the walls with any part of your body 2) Don't ding the walls or woodwork with your equipment. He was very careful about that. He was thorough and took pride in his work. My vents were very dirty not having done them in a few years, and I've been renovating for a year, so you can imagine. I booked a cleaning a week in advance and was told it would be between 12-2. I sat around and waited until 2, no one showed up or called to let me know. I called and was told that they were running behind and it would be another 1 to 1.5 hours. Totally wasted my time. I live in Airdrie and called Ram Carpet cleaning in Calgary to come out instead of using a local company because they where supposed to be the Best!!!!! Big mistake the fist time out rugs looked like they had not even been cleaned the stains they said they could take out where still there!!!!!!! On there second time out the tecnion or what ever you what to call him was rude and ignorant!!!!!!!!!! I willl never have this company out again after paying almost 400.00 dollars for three bedrooms and a small hallway 12 stairs not to mention no furniture had to be moved this company sucks at rug cleaning!!!!!!!!! Booked a weekend carpet clean with them. Got a call in the week to confirm that I was still good for the weekend and was given a two hour window when they would arrive on the day. I moved all the furniture so they would be able to clean and cancelled plans for the afternoon. I sat and waited.. and waited... and waited. No one showed. No phone call to say they would be late. I called to find out what happened and was told my details would be passed onto the office. No call. Nothing. What a waste of time. I had booked both carpet cleaning and drapery cleaning with Ram Cleaning Services. I dropped the drapes off at the building and they were ready to go after 4 days as promised. When I got the drapes home and hung them up I noticed that there was a fair amount of cat hair remaining on the drapes. This was very disappointing after spending $130 cleaning them. The carpet cleaning was booked for a Saturday afternoon, but sadly they never showed up. I left a message on their phone (went straight to voicemail) that afternoon and even by Monday afternoon had not received a call back regarding them not coming on time. When I phoned back on Monday they had no idea why the carpet cleaners didn't come, but after about 30 minutes someone called me back to let me know that I had apparently postponed the reservation. I had done no such thing and with further questioning the lady on the phone then admitted that they did not have any evidence of me booking an appointment at all, however all of my information was on file do obviously they did have a record at some point. They did nothing to rectify either the poorly cleaned blinds nor the missed carpet cleaning. Unfortunately I will not be using this company in the future. read more

Excellent service! I had my furnace cleaned and my basement carpets done. Ram sent just one guy, who was very personable and quick with both jobs. He was in and out in about 1.5 hours. He moved my furniture as per my request, and focused on problem areas that have been marked by a dog I was babysitting. I would use Ram again, no question. read more

Very disappointed. I hired RAM n October, 2018 to clean my home that I sold, and clearly advised it needed to be nice and clean for the new owners. They told me it would be 3 hours. I even authorized up to 4 hours. RAM (Brooklyn and Rebecca) came and did a general surface clean for 3 hours, and entirely missed basic areas, such as dusting in numerous areas (family room shelves, blinds that weren't even touched), cleaning the bathroom mirrors, cleaning under the kitchen sink, and other areas. They never said 'we need more time'. Rather, they perhaps hoped I wouldn't notice the shoddy job that was done. The next business day I politely advised them of the deficiencies, asking them to fix it. They offered to come back and charge me more! Their advertising that they do quality control is false. It took me hours more to clean the home, as they were hired to do in the first place. Their definition of 'clean' is far from reality. read more

Horrible customer services!! They broke our van window that we only had for 2 weeks with a rock from a weed wacker doing our neighbors lawn. We tried calling 4 times to speak with someone and we only talked to the receptionist and no one ever called us back. First time she had to call the guys who cut the lawn and talk to them and they would call us back, no call back. Second time she had to talk to a supervisor and would call us back, no call back. Third time she would get a manager to call back, no call back, fourth call we specifically called and asked to speak with a manager and the receptionist again wouldn't put our call through any farther and tried to tell us we were wrong about the window. I then emailed pictures and explained how awful their customer service has been and how disappointed I was and I got cc'ed in an email to someone else asking them to contact us and 3 days later no email again. I am not surprised really it's been 2 weeks dealing with this but it just goes to show how unreliable they are and how they run their business and treat people. I booked a shampoo for my motorhome carpets for the following week. I was told it would take an hour and a half. I drove my motorhome across town and left it with them. I wandered around NE Calgary for 2 hours, came back and the job hadn't even been started. They had my cel number. Did they call me and say there'd be a delay? NO! We scheduled Ram to clean my fathers old apartment a month ago. We flew to Calgary to deal with everything, listing the condo etc. RAM was supposed to show up to clean between 10am and noon. At noon, we called about where they were. They said they would look into it and get back to us. Long story short, they never called, we called about 4 more times receiving promises they'd be here soon. Finally we had to leave for the airport to fly home. Had to arrange to have a neighbour give them the keys etc. a Just as we got in the car, they finally arrived, 5 hours late. I have no idea now of how well they cleaned. Their customer service and job scheduling is appalling, considering the size of the company. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because they did, finally, show up. I would never use them again. With all the stress of what we were dealing with, we just didn't need this. read more

STOP NOW! This is the absolute worst customer service story I've ever encountered in my lifetime. As a busy executive couple we chose to hire a major company for a move out clean for one of our rental properties. We were willing to pay a premium to get the quality work and peace of mind. As we go to check in to see how things are going, the crew is packing up 3 hours into a quoted 5 hour deep clean? As we go through the house it's been cosmetically wiped down and when we took a wet cloth to the floor and baseboards, an area specifically requested as trouble areas, it was complete filth/dirt. The crew leader says they are done and if we have issues take it up with the office. My wife shows them the issues and gets called a BITCH for easing her concerns. When we call the office they deflect and advise they can send a supervisor out to review the work but it would be at an additional charge!?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! RAM cleaning is a complete joke and terribly managed company. No accountability whatsoever. BRUTAL! read more

Sept. 16/13 I had RAM out to do a cleaning of our condo. I was very unhappy with the job they did. First of all they arrived with a vacuum that didn't work. After 1 hr. and 10 minutes they were in a rush to leave because they had to go back to the office on 32nd avenue and get another vacuum and I was charged for a full 2 hrs. After they left I noticed a pile of dirt on the hardwood floor which they apparently had swept and washed. I decided to look under the loveseat to see if they had swept there - Nope. After they left I washed the floors to see what kind of a job they had done with the hardwood floor. Guess what? The water in my wash bucket was a dark brown. I took pictures of both the pile of dirt and the dirty water as documentation. The bathroom window mirror was left streaky and a poor job was done on the venetian blinds. As well a cabinet under the TV had never been dusted. Overall it was a poor cleaning job. I called RAM that afternoon and the lady who answered my call put me through to another lady who listened to my complaint and made a few simple remarks like" did you have it on the list? " and "we don't sweep under the couches because our staff would have to get down on their hands and knees". Why would something like sweeping under the furniture have to be on a list? If you tell them to clean the bathroom do you have to tell them to clean the toilet? Is it not obvious that you would sweep under the furniture? Then I was told a 3rd lady would call me - that was Sept 16 and it is now Sept. 23 and I have not heard from RAM's 3rd lady. Be WARNED that this is NOT a reputable company!! I booked a carpet clean a week and a half ago to only have them show up and not to do the job. The lady I originally booked the appointment with did not give me any instructions when it came to an area rug cleaning. When they came they said they could not do it because it was on hardwood floor. They said they could do the bedroom carpet but at double the price now. I declined to pay double the price quoted. When I called the office and explained that I was never asked where the area rug was or was neither informed on what it should be placed on they told me that they could come back the following day for double the price. When I asked to speak to the manager they gave me to a lady named Holly who after explaining yet again my situation she put me on hold twice than let me go to call me back 15 minutes later to than assure me that someone was coming within the hour to clean my carpet at the original quote. Well big surprise 3 hours later I receive a message saying that they are not coming and to call back tomorrow during business hours to book an appointment. When I tried the office they were closed. DO NOT waste your time with this company! They will give you the run around and NOT deliver! Luckily I didn't give them a dime of my hard earned money....I just have to put all my furniture back. read more

Had a large area rug I took into these people to get cleaned as someone spilled a red cooler on it. I didn't know if it would come out but thought I needed to try, I didn't have high hopes but took it in and left it with them. I did homework on cleaning companies who "specialize" in cleaning heirloom rugs, oriental rugs and such before I chose Ram, I spent much time researching as the rug was expensive and didn't want anyone to clean it. I called a few days after it was to be ready to check on the status and the girl I spoke to couldn't find the paperwork on it, first red flag...she called back 20 minutes later, found the rug and it's ready. I went the next day and asked them to unroll the rug as I wanted to inspect it as they told me they were not able to get the color out. The lady looked disgusted that I asked and when they brought it out, they proceeded to lay it on their dirty floor where everyone was walking all over and bringing snow in on. I said are "you kidding, I just had this rug cleaned and now you'll be putting it here for me to look at"?! No comment, second red flag. I would only allow them to unroll a bit at a time as I didn't want the rug dirty again and as I was looking at it, yes the stain didn't come out, but I questioned if the rug had been cleaned at all? Third red flag...It didn't look any different from when I brought it in, the snide comment was "yes it has been cleaned, why even question?" Well, I doubted it and still do as it sure doesn't look any different and definitely didn't smell like it had been cleaned. I was fed up with the service and told them just roll the rug and when the woman picked up the one end to shrink wrap it to hold it together, the rug started to bend in the middle and I proceeded to pick it up and give it support. She looked at me and said "this isn't the first rug I've rolled you know" I replied "well hard to know as anyone and everyone knows you can't let a carpet bend as it breaks the back and then you end up with a wrinkle" and she rolled her eyes....fourth red flag. I was so frustrated and disgusted with the service, I will NEVER recommend them to anyone, just very disappointed and yes, I did have to pay, no greater feeling of being ripped off read more
