I needed a thorough dryer vent cleaning as it has likely never been done before, and honestly I had no idea where the exhaust went. Antonio and his team came out on time, provided an accurate quote upfront, performed the work quickly and properly, and communicated well throughout the process (including informing me that the exhaust goes to the roof. Good to know). They didn't pressure me into extra services or anything like that, even though they do offer other services. They didn't even ask for a review. Highly recommended and I'll definitely consider them in the future for any other needs. Maybe even get the dryer vent cleaned regularly! read more

We highly recommend Ramirez Duct Cleaning! Tony came over right before Thanksgiving to clean our dryer vent, which we had never cleaned out before. He showed us before and after photos of the project and we were amazed at how much lint/dirt had accumulated. It took them less than an hour and they were on time and kept the area clean. We then scheduled a second appointment for his team to clean our HVAC. Wow! The entire system looks brand new. They tested the heater after they were done and everything works well. It took them about 2 hours to clean our HVAC. We communicated mostly by text but he called when he was running late. We will definitely hire Tony the next time we need cleaning (which we now plan to do on a regular basis). read more

Easy to work with and very efficient. Can't wait to use them again. Cleaned my ducts so it looks like new.

I would recommend Ramírez Duct Cleaning highly to anyone who needs their dryer duct cleaned (which, I take it, is basically anyone with a dryer). The dryer at our home in Berkeley showed an error message saying our dryer duct needed cleaning, I found Ramírez Duct Cleaning on Yelp, noted the many positive reviews, and reached out to them through the Yelp messaging function. Tony Tomas responded same day and said he had availability the next day. He and his team of three guys arrived promptly, wore foot protection in the house, and cleaned the duct from both inside and outside the house and were finished in 10-15min. Tony and his crew were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and cleaned up after themselves. High quality service delivered promptly and efficiently. Highly recommend! read more

Another wonderful local company we found on Yelp! I was really impressed with this company's reviews and was not disappointed! We hired them to clean our dryer vent. They went above and beyond! They discovered that the dryer hadbot been installed correctly and fixed it with the correct dryer hose without increasing the estimate! They also went into the crawl space not just outside and found the vent was disconnecting and spewing dust into the basement! They fixed that too! They even put in a wet towel to check that the dryer was working better and more effeciently after the job was complete! Thank you! read more

Excellent, professional service. Very efficient and fast. Would recommend Tony and his team.

Quick communication and easy to schedule. Service team was able to diagnose the exhaust duct and perform the work in less than an hour.

Mr. Ramirez was very efficient and did excellent work. I recommend him for duct work cleaning!

I reached out to Ramierz Duct Cleaning based off so many positive Yelp reviews and quickly understood why he has so all the 5 star ratings! As a new homeowner with central heat and dryer in house for the first time, having our ducts clean was a brand new experience and Tony explained everything in detail about what to expect. Quick communication and easy to set up an appointment for a consultation. He and his crew showed up, on time, and surveyed the ducts, vents and heater, showing me the before photos. What I saw was an eye opener! It was clear that our ducts, and heater, had not been cleaned in a VERY long time. I appreciated hearing Tony tell us, that while the heater itself is an old unit and had not been cleaned in a while (ever?!), it was still a good unit, and that taking care of it with a good clean, would help extend the life of it. I was very impressed that upon giving us the quote he said, he had his whole crew there and could get straight to work! Within minutes, there were multiple workers, tackling the ducts, the return vents, and the heater. Tony explained that the rigid dryer duct we currently had was not the best for our small space. He not only recommended a flexible duct, but had one that he was able to install while there. During the process, he showed me the heater fan on the way out to be cleaned, and after the cleaning process. I was shocked in a good way - it looked like a brand new unit. Tony sent all of the before and after photos when it was all finished, it was so impressive to see all of them! We were so impressed when it was all said and done by how fast and tidy the team worked. Where I really noticed the biggest difference is now when we run our heater, the air coming out of the return vent pushes the ceiling fan around, and that never happened before. Ramirez Duct Cleaning will now be part of our annual house services. I'm glad to have found them. read more

Oh my goodness, I am so impressed and so happy with the work that Ramirez Duct Cleaning did for me. First of all, I wasn't even going to call a duct cleaning company because I just had my ducts [supposedly] cleaned not more than 2 years ago, and duct cleaning shouldn't be needed every year or 2. But, I kept having dryer problems, and finally I got a "smart" dryer that was telling me (via "flow sense") that the air flow was blocked. I did all I could to try and unblock the flow (which was to simply straighten out the dryer vent foil pipe), but still the dryer was complaining about air flow, so.. I requested quotes from several companies, and most of them gave me similar estimates ($500-$600 for whole house vent cleaning + bathroom exhaust fans cleaning + dryer vent cleaning). Only Ramirez and 1 other company told me that the cost is actually dependent upon inspection findings, which I thought actually made more sense than just no-inspection estimates. Though Ramirez estimate was actually much higher than the other companies, I ended having them do the work because their inspection was very thorough, which is what I needed, and they found that a BIG problem, which I didn't even think/ask about at all, was the furnace itself, which we found had so, so much dust and debris in it, which the furnace was pushing into the air that got pushed into the home. Anyway they did the work, completely cleaned up after themselves, and the result of their work was immediately noticeable. My heater/furnace now works WAY better, pushing more and hotter, cleaner air into the home. The heater is now able to heat up the house a lot faster and better than before, like it is SIGNIFICANTLY more efficient at heating up the home. And, of course, the dryer stopped complaining about the air flow. The communication / timing of the visit wasn't the greatest (if I had a normal job, where I would need to take time off from work for this kind of thing, there would have been some inconveniences, due to changing timings on kind-of short notice, but..fortunately, I work from home, so..the changes in schedule wasn't really a problem for me.. but, it could be kind of a problem, or inconvenience rather, for others). Anyway, I am very pleased with the work they did and how well they cleaned up after themselves. Also, I should note: They did not pressure me, at all, to use any of their services, so.. Their work speaks for itself. In short, I definitely can, and do, recommend Ramirez Duct Cleaning if you need your vents/ducts cleaned. Thanks, Antonio! read more

Ramirez Duct Cleaning provides top-tier service with remarkable attention to detail, fast responses, and a friendly, professional team. When I moved into my apartment a few years ago, I noticed a lot of lint backing up in my dryer and that my bathroom vents were becoming increasingly dirty. I posted a project on Yelp, and within minutes, Ramirez Duct Cleaning responded with their availability for the very next day. Talk about outstanding service--where else can you get such a quick response? Later that same day, they even called back to offer an earlier appointment due to a cancellation. They could have easily stuck to the original schedule, but their effort to prioritize customer convenience really stood out. On the day of the appointment, they began with a thorough inspection, ensuring I would only pay for work that made sense for my needs and budget. During the inspection, they identified several issues with my dryer that could have easily escalated into a full on blaze. Thanks to their prompt and efficient work, I'm relieved to say those risks were completely avoided. Their focus on delivering good work was clear. After the inspection, they quickly got to work, completing the job in just under an hour and leaving my space spotless. They provide so much value to boot--not only did they inspect and clean the vents, but they also gave me practical tips on how to prevent similar issues in the future. That kind of care and attention is truly remarkable. You're getting much more than what you pay for, and as a value-focused client, I couldn't be more satisfied. Supporting a local business like Ramirez Duct Cleaning, especially one so committed to customer satisfaction, is well worth it. For their efficiency, attention to detail, and customer-first approach, I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for future needs. read more

Tony and his team were great to work with -- kind, respectful, and on time. I'd been having issues with my dryer and requested an end-to-end duct cleaning. Even though Tony was really busy and didn't have same-day availability, he still squeezed me in at the end of his workday, which I truly appreciated. They took the time to inspect everything and showed me exactly what was going on. The outside vent was completely clogged with lint and staying wet from the dryer cycles. Tony clearly explained what needed to be done and why -- no pressure, no upselling, just honest work at a reliable, affordable price. Huge bonus points for wearing shoe covers and being respectful of my home. He also shared photos of the work he completed, which was very reassuring to see. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable, honest service! Thank you!! read more

Ramirez Duct Cleaning was available within a few days. Antonio and crew did a great job. Antonio showed us before and after pictures of many of the ducts and they looked great. They had the right equipment for the job; unlike the guy we hired last year. We also paid them to clean the dryer vent duct, and they included patching where it was leaking. Their price was in line with the other two companies we got estimates from. One suggestion for any duct cleaning company you hire, get pricing in advance for anything that involves duct work and your heating/cooling system. For example, furnace fan and heat exchanger, outdoor unit, bathroom fans, dryer vent duct, etc. read more

These guys are the best. Needed dryer vent to be cleaned and fixed. The vent is under the house in a very hard to reach area. They had no problem with it! They easily accessed the area, assessed all of the issues, cleaned all the lint from vent and dryer and suggested a repair that would make the dryer and vent work better. All along the way they were super communicative--letting me know at each step what was required and how much it would cost. This was a difficult job that other duct cleaners failed to complete! I can't recommend them enough. read more

Great work, nice team. A little late, and yet they texted to let us know. Will hire again.

Tony and his crew cleaned my dryer vent yesterday and did a terrific job. I'm embarrassed to think of how long it's been since it was last done. They were quick and quiet and left no trace. Tony took a photo of the debris that they found in our crawl space--apparently a critter of some sort had used the outside vent to get inside. I've seen the light. Tony and crew will be part of my regular maintenance. read more
