I do most of my grocery shopping online so it's pretty convenient. What I hate and I say that with a strong expression...I hate it when other shoppers who "Do not" shop online still park in the "Online shoppers" parking spot and make it inconvenient for us online shoppers to receive our groceries. I've had to park in other spots, wait for someone in the online parking spot to leave and then park to receive my groceries. IT'S AN INCONVENIENCE!! I just ordered online and I bought a $3.00 slice of Ralph's Orange Cream Crunch cake for the first time. Had I known then what I know now after eating that cake.... I would have bought every slice in that store. People, I've been eating cake a long time and when I tell you that is the best damn cake I've ever eaten, I don't exaggerate. Oh, this cake is better than good!! Seriously. Fresh yellow cake with a fluffy orange creamy topping that literally melts in your mouth! It took me almost an hour to eat this one slice cause I'd take a bite or two and walk away. I kept this up for about 45 minutes cause I didn't want eating it to end. Tomorrow I'm at Ralph's to buy the whole cake. It's $12.99 but I don't care 'cause that cake is worth it!. Try it. You'll love it but please, leave some for me! Overall a nice supermarket the place is organized and pleasant for shopping usually clean and easy to get around the aisles are well arranged the staff is fine and the atmosphere is calm on the other hand some basic items are often missing and sometimes you need to finish your shopping elsewhere it does the job for everyday shopping but there is room for improvement in product variety and availability read more

We've been coming to this Ralph's since it's opening many years ago. We bought some plants that we were returning. We had no receipt which we understand every store has their rules. That's not what this is about. Rosie or Roxy from the floral department was paged from the beginning she was very rude. When told I had no receipt. She could've said 'I'm sorry we would need a receipt' instead she looked into the bag and very loudly and with attitude said 'Nope! No receipt no return!' and walked away. There are ways to inform people about rules with etiquette,& respect. She was simply rude. read more

A young girl was trying to buy hot bar food with her mom's EBT card, and when she found out it wasn't eligible, the cashier, Cheryl, turned to her and said, "tell your mom to get a job." I was just walking my dog on the beach that had a lot of dead muscles washed up on the shore. It still smelled a lot better than this Ralph's market. It was disgusting. And then if you try to return an item that you just bought on a credit card they won't credit your credit card back for the item that you bought 10 minutes earlier without the receipt. Thrilled to find Good Karma Flax milk at this Ralph's yesterday. I've been wanting to try this amazing milk that contains omega 3, protein and b12, vit D and vit A. The parking lot had plenty of spaces so I got in & out quickly. I did self check out but the staff is always nice here. I got a Starbucks drink in the store on my way out. My fav drink is the iced Americano. The barista was very sweet & genuine and I would definitely go to this Ralph's Starbucks again. The ambiance is pleasant at the store. My daughter and I was in the area and this is the nearest Ralph's. We went in to pick up a few items that we are out of. The store was kind of busy but the check out line is not. What a horrible place this Ralph's is! I went here after work to get some fried chicken and some potato salad. When I walked up to the service deli, there was a couple waiting to be serviced. The woman who was standing in front of me told me that no one was there to help them. There was a woman frosting a cake nearby, but she refused to help us. I stated this was unacceptable. I walked over to the checkouts and asked one of the employees if they could please send someone to the deli to help us get some food. She told me that they didn't have anyone and that the deli attendant wouldn't be back for half an hour. I said that was unacceptable and can't someone just go back there and give us what we need. I asked her if there was a manager available she stated no, the manager left. "Mimi" showed up with her cotton candy colored hair. I asked her if someone can help us in the deli. I noticed her name tag said "Service Leader". Surely this person would be able to get an employee to serve the deli. Nope. Mimi then went on to tell me that it wasn't that they didn't "want" to help me, it's that no one else is trained to help me. That was the most ridiculous thing I had heard yet. She is a service leader. She should have jumped in immediately and figured out how to get customers what they need. I have worked in the service industry, restaurants, retail, etc. for several years you don't push customers off and tell them oh sorry we don't have anybody to help you. Completely ridiculous response from a completely clueless employee. You facilitate and make happen whatever the customer needs. You don't shrug and walk away. What a loser. Finally, my hero arrived ! A wonderful man named Hugo came down and was kind enough to help and the other customers that were in line in front of me. Everything you read here about this Ralphs most likely is true. This place has terrible service, clueless employees, and very obvious service violations. The first woman I went to at the checkout, had her hair all in her face. I don't think I would want her serving me anything from the deli, unless I wanted a hair sandwich. These employees are the mother worst of the worst. Be extremely careful buying any cakes from this location. I bought a cake for my late brothers birthday & it was filled with mold. This is supposed to be a vanilla cake 0 reason for it to be green. I got a cake last year for his bday as well, and the second layer of the cake had plastic wrap over the whole entire layer. The store has become unsafe and unprofessional, and it's affecting customers directly.    *   Safety Issue: My mother-in-law had her purse stolen straight from her shopping cart just last week. This kind of incident is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about store security.    *   Fraud Concern: Shortly after, my own credit card was compromised after using it at the register in this location. This cannot be ignored--it suggests either poor oversight or a breach of payment system security.    *   Undertrained Staff: The store appears to be run by mostly teenagers and individuals who may not have the proper training or support to handle such responsibilities. While inclusion is important, staff must be properly trained and supervised to ensure operations run safely and efficiently.    *   Sanitation & Homeless Activity: There is a persistent issue with individuals, including homeless persons, touching produce and other items with visibly dirty hands. It creates a serious health and hygiene concern.    *   Starbucks Counter Conditions: The Starbucks inside the store is poorly run--often with no one at the counter, or if someone is there, they are on their phones. The area looks unsanitary and neglected. These issues reflect a deep lack of oversight and care for both customers and employees. The most difficult grocery shopping experience in the valley. Not sure if this is applies across all the ralphs but they require a phone number ID to purchase any item. I just came in for a bag of chips and the self check out line lagged so bad that we had to go to two different computers until we finally got "help". Help meaning a guy just standing there looking blankly at the screen just as we were waiting for the computer to register a number we have entered now 3 times into a slow system. As I was leaving from my regular shopping, employee Rosanna, followed me to the door and demanded to see my receipt. She accused me of Stealing and said that if I showed her my recipes there wouldn't be a problem. Of course I had my receipts but this was extremely embarrassing. This is our local Ralphs, and our favorite. I'm also a Kroger stockholder. I love Ralphs! But today I experienced something I felt I had to report. As a customer completed checkout and began to walk out, a checkout cashier threw a shopping basket at him saying (loudly), "Hey, you forgot your basket." The customer picked the basket up and placed it in the stack at the store exit without responding. The rest of us stood there, jaws dropped. I've never seen such rudeness at this Ralphs, any other Ralphs, or any other store, anywhere. It was shocking. I should add that I was in the adjacent checkout aisle...intentionally. I intentionally chose the adjacent aisle to avoid that particular checkout cashier. As a regular at this Ralphs, I am familiar with the checkout cashiers. I try to get in Brian's line, when he's working, and try to avoid this person's line, whenever possible. Today I was on Josue's line (a great cashier, BTW). I don't recall the rude checkout cashier's name, but he's tall, Caucasian, portly and balding. Not difficult to identify. I'm sure regular customers know exactly who he is. Naturally, I will continue to avoid his checkout aisle. That's easy enough. But I wanted to bring this incident to the attention of the manager and anyone who cares. But I do want to finish by saying again that we love this Ralphs! But for now, I need to give the 1-star review based on what we witnessed today. I look forward to changing that rating. read more

I just got off the phone with Ralphs (on Victory and Fallbrook) to let them know that there is no hand sanitizer at the entrance. The rep, Cheryl/Sheryl says there are wipes at the other entrance. Why do you have an empty Purell hand sanitizer dispenser without a sign saying to proceed to the other entrance?! And there used to be a worker wiping down carts. I see none. So, I plan on visiting this store everyday this week until I see progress. I hope the Ralphs in Calabasas or on Ventura Blvd does a better job for their patrons. If you can't get this right, imagine what else isn't happening that should. It's one thing if it's a mom pop shop. But a major corporation? Sorry! read more

"Customer Service" has never been a phrase that springs to mind when shopping a Ralph's but this Ralph's has gone one step further. Went in this morning to find out Ralph's has gotten rid of customer serving clerks and replaced them with notoriously problem riddled self- serve kiosks. Two clerks were standing around but neither could be bothered to actually do their job. No, their new job is to point and say "Do it yourself." And for not doing their job, they are negotiating with Management for a raise. Tell me Ralph's, do I get a discount for doing you job for you? There is a Wal-Mart, a Target, a Sprout's, a Trader Joes's all sharing a parking lot with this Ralph's and a Von's and an Albertson's on the way home from work. There is no reason to be here. This Ralph's review is "Unclaimed." I am not surprised. Who would want to claim responsibility for this mess? read more

Review is of the pharmacy here. I've routinely waited 30+ minutes in line to pick up single prescriptions. Pharmacy staff are frequently dismissive and rude, and will jerk you around/allow others to cut you in line on a whim. I wouldn't bother trying to pick up even simple prescriptions here unless you don't mind such long waits for little to no reason at all. Parking here is a nightmare as well, and there's often a bit of a free-for-all of cars cutting you off to turn into the exit lanes (I find this to be understandable though, as at least some of the customers leaving have just had to endure prolonged interactions with the pharmacy staff). There are better options all over the valley without the stress or trouble. read more

First of all, I am specifically writing about the West Hills - Fallbrook center Ralphs. A friend of mine told me he wouldn't shop here again because they don't monitor or care if their customers are wearing a mask. He's right! Today I was in line behind an older fellow who was telling the cashier how he had tested positive several times for Covid but his doctor told him to just get checked again. He was wearing a mask...below his nose. I asked him to cover his nose with his mask. He looked at me and ignored me. Then when I was being checked out, the cashier told me that masks don't matter and that he entertained 25 people at his home at a time. Now I'm really mad at myself for not walking out of the store.
