Was in the store for its opening and got talking with the corporate marketing manager. Told him that this was the 3rd market at this location, Alpha Beta, Bristol Farms, and them. They all failed, real short life spans, cuz of location and market demand. Within a 2 mile area you have at least 6 markets and add to it mom and pop deli's. I've been bummed out ever since I heard the news of all Amazon Fresh stores permanently closing. Amazon Fresh offers produce, meat, seafood, bakery items, prepared meals, and everyday essentials. Their prices are competitive, and they usually have a nice selection of products to choose from. Amazon Fresh also offers same-day delivery for groceries and everyday items! They also offer a small discount on certain items for Amazon Prime members. This particular location has always been clean, organized, and well stocked. I've always liked the fact that Amazon Fresh gives you the option to shop with Amazon Dash Carts (smart carts), which let you skip the checkout lines. You sign into the cart with your Amazon account, add items as you shop, and the cart automatically tracks your total cost. This location also has a Krispy Kreme, so you can grab some tasty donuts while you shop! The employees at this location have always been friendly and welcoming. They greet me with a warm welcome as soon as I enter the store. This location is situated on a fairly large lot, so parking is usually never an issue. Overall, this store has been a great choice for everyday items and prepared meals. I'm going to miss my random late-night runs, but I will continue shopping here while the store is still in business. Amazon Fresh - Kraft Hot Habanero Shredded Cheese - Grocery Near Me - Woodland Hills, California

The store manager here, named Joe, is incredibly rude and condescending. We received a couple Amazon gift cards for Christmas (totaling $200) and when we tried to scratch off the code to redeem them online (the silver strip on the card reads "Peel or stratch"), the middle portion of the redemption code came off with the silver strip. These were different gift cards, gifted by different people to our family. We attempted to get this remedied through the customer service phone number on Amazon.com, but after uploading photos of everything, they said they'd open a case and follow up within 24 hours. They failed to do so twice. We decided to see if the Amazon fresh could simply scan them and add the funds to our account. The two individuals at the customer service desk were very polite and explained they'd have to call the manager to see if he could do something. Joe came over and introduced himself and immediately began talking down to us, he told us that we damaged the cards because we scratched the silver strip instead of peeling it, (even after I explained one card was missing the middle of the code because I peeled it so we scratched the next one and had the same result). He suggested we take them to the original retailer of the gift cards instead (we had a receipt for original proof of purchase as provided by the gift giver), but I explained that these cards were not purchased by us, so we don't have the credit cards they were purchased with, and as such, could not take up the issue with the other store. He told us there was nothing he could do to help us and proceeded to talk over us. He barely even let me finish explaining what the issue was. I pointed out that the card itself said you could scratch off the silver strip to which he had nothing to say. He clearly had no interest in helping us, he was entirely unapologetic, and he was rude off the bat. If you can't help us, that's ok, but there is a way to conduct business and a correct or at least minimally polite way to speak to people. This man clearly doesn't understand either concept. I wouldn't come back to this store for anything if this is the type of person they elect to place in a position of leadership. I'm sorry to the kind employees who have to work under him. So I called him an ass and we left. So be warned: Amazon is clearly more than happy to take people's money and give them nothing in return. read more

Had a great experience coming by here to prep for Thanksgiving week!!! Staff here was friendly and helped answer any questions I had on where something was. The stock inside was organized and I enjoyed shopping at this branch for the first time as I was in the area. I also noticed that the cheese prices were cheaper than Walmart, especially if you purchase the Amazon brands. I had to unfortunately look into a different store because some ingredients I needed for specific dishes weren't here such as spices and other options of heavy cream. Other than that, the inventory of this bright-lit store looked great and self-checkout with its bagging area on the side was very efficient. The paper bag handles were also kind of weak and one broke off by the time I needed to unload but to be fair I did have probably close to 9 pounds of products stuffed inside. Also surprisingly, I was told to check out the sushi here by a friend and I didn't come across any. It slipped my mind to ask that time around and I just accepted no sushi for the night. I've been to this Amazon Fresh multiple times now and I've always enjoyed my stops! A coworker recommended their sushi and I've come back several times now just for the sushi. Quick walk from most facilities and apartments near by with a huge parking lot. Their sushi quality is amazing, the sushi rice is perfectly seasoned, fish is fresh and easy bite. Their main sushi chef I've seen has always been kind and asks if there's any specific roll I'd like to request. Due to my food restrictions, I really appreciate the option of being able to order a roll with the items I can actually eat. The prices have gone up a bit but it's to be expected. I'm also surprised there's a Krispy Kreme at this location! Very adorable donuts available, despite me not being a huge fan of Krispy Kreme, I know it's a well loved donut shop and fans would be excited to stop for one here. As a former grocery employee, I genuinely appreciate the effort the employees put in to face all the items and keep the store clean. It makes the walkthrough much more satisfying! My friends and I stopped by this Amazon Fresh store to first get some Krispy Kreme donut because they have a little stand inside. We came close to closing time so they were not busy inside and had a lot of open parking. We ate our donut inside the store because there are some seating available. After we finish eating our donut, we went walking around Amazon Fresh. I got a VOSS water bottle and my friend was looking for a lint remover but didn't find one. We checked out their meat selection and also what deals they have here on certain items. I didn't use their shopping kart but I think it keeps track on the items you put in there. They have checkout station and also cashier station as well. The employees here are very friendly and ready to help you if needed. The store is kept organized and very clean inside. read more

I hate this store. Nothing to buy. Empty shelves. Poor customer service. Long lines. High prices. Poor selection. Awful pizza. This is for deliveries mostly and Amazon pick up and drop off which is now almost impossible due to no parking in the lot, long lines waiting for package pick-up up to 20 minutes on most days. Very frustrating experience. Amazon package delivery to this location has not been available lately because it is full so I have to send my packages elsewhere. Worst store in the West Valley and completely mismanaged. No one I know shops there so I know it's not just my experience. Went there the day it opened with a friend and we both walked out with nothing. Went to Whole Foods afterwards and made purchases. I find myself in Amazon Fresh usually weekly when my wife has items to return to Amazon. I like going here because it's clean and modern. The return process is easier and if there's a line, the self service kiosk is easy. There are smart shopping carts called Dash carts and a self service checkout. The store has everything I could ever want in groceries. It's an easy and enjoyable experience. There used to be empty shelves but I no longer see that. I've only been in here once and it was after finding out there was a Krispy Kreme inside. This review is solely for the doughnuts- I'll update my review once I've actually done some shopping here. Customer service was great, staff is very helpful and friendly (which I always appreciate!). The donuts were fresh- as one would expect from Krispy Kreme. They had Elf themed donuts in celebration of the movie's 20th (!) anniversary. I got one with blue frosting that had a Buddy the elf sprinkle in the center (so cute!). This Amazon Fresh store is doing it right! I never thought to review Amazon Fresh, but this location deserves it's kudos. This store is so well organized, stocked, and even decorated for the holidays. It really feels like Ralphs and Whole Foods had a baby. The store feels large, without being overwhelming and everything is labeled SO clearly that it's easy to get around. There is also plenty of staff on the floor if you need help. My home Amazon Fresh store always has shelves low in stock it just doesn't have the same welcoming vibe as this location. If this store were closer to me, I would be here all the time. I like that I can get almost everything I need here from produce, to meat, cleaning supplies, and even hot food. They have all the well known food brands AND the 365 brand. I really like all of the 365 organic options. This store also had a salad bar and it looked really fresh and clean. It was $8.99 a pound which I feel like is a pretty fair price. Another small bonus was the kid sized shopping cart. My two year old had a blast pushing it around the store! I definitely recommend this Amazon Fresh location and I might even go out of my way to come back instead of going to the location closest to me. read more

I frequent the Woodland Hills location as well as the Encino location regularly however during my 5 past visits to the Woodland Hills store, the kiosk for returns was out of order. There was no line at Customer Service, this has happened during different times of the day; morning, afternoon, and evening then when I asked to speak with a supervisor they did nothing to resolve the issue. A team member overheard my complaint and took the initiative to check the kiosk while the manager argued with me and gave me several excuses such as, it's not a priority. I could understand if they were busy but the store was not full and as previously stated, no one was in line. Then yesterday I went to the store about twenty minutes before closing just to be told that all the registers were down and they were closing early. I saw people in line checking out and asked "if the registers were down how are they able to check out" and the person at the door replied "it only works if you can pay with cash" then condescendingly asked me if I had cash. A few people were at the door trying to get in and we all felt it was an inconvenience to say the least and that she wasn't being truthful. The greeters at the door are friendly and for the most part the customer service is fine but compared to the Encino store, I haven't experienced as many problems as I have with the Woodland Hills location. If I address something at the Encino store they fix it immediately, not argue with the customer for ten minutes. I feel the managerial staff are very young and the lack of training is reflective in how they treat and mislead customers. read more

My hatred for Jeff Bezos is tied to that of Elon Musk, so it was hard to drag myself into his Fresh facet empire. The 2pc Avocado Salad roll was a welcome find. Marked at $6.99 it rang up as $5.24 because I'm a recent Prime card member - [that will soon change because the green body paint stick arrived too late for Halloween as promised prompting the "free" impulse $500 credit line...]. So, the avocado salad roll was masked with a veneer of avocado that is paper thin when bitten. The tapioca wrap is strong enough to be a leotard. The taste even with the sweet chili sauce and reduced salt (by 35%) soy sauce ~ failed to give it much pizzazz! A sprig of basil or picked ginger would have been magical. Onward! The Apple Pay wasn't activated - but the kind, neck tattooed flaxen haired, inquisitive eyed, foreign born attendant made the matter painless. read more

This is particularly about the customer service in the Amazon Return/Pick Up in this location. Went here to pick up my packages and they were all marked as "picked up" and when I got home, I was missing an entire box with 7 items. Had to chat with Amazon for 45mins being transferred to specialist 4 times and at the end, they just told me to go back here in the morning to have them check for my box/items. I come by here at 10:20AM where it wasn't that busy and some lady (named Zee? Cee?) was at the counter. Mentioned the issue I had and that I don't have a QR code anymore because they marked it as picked up the previous evening. Asked for my phone number and says nothing is coming up. The customer service rep on chat mentioned to just come by with the order number and my name. For some reason, Zee/Cee couldn't just look at the SMALL amount of boxes behind her to check for my name. Just a bit of "customer service" would be nice. Even just an attempt* but instead she repeated that she can't do anything and that I should have been told to just get a refund. Some of those items are sold out now and what IF it was just behind her? Why was that going to be so much effort? She looked so disinterested with helping in any way. If you don't like your job or don't have the skills to work with customers, might be best to look for something else. Just a little bit of effort on the customer service skill would have been appreciated. Not trying to be a Karen but come on. Do better. (Otherwise, love this store location. Do NOT shop at this store if you actually need your ingredients and using pick up order. Being a sick mom with a sick 4 year old and 3 month old at home, I ordered a pick up order so I didn't have to bring my sick tribe into a public area and try to wrestle with a crying toddler meltdown and my own discomfort while going up and down the aisles. What a horrible mistake. Apparently this grocery store does have the most basic of foods in stock- chicken, ground beef, garlic, chicken broth, carrots and celery pack, coffee - just to name a FEW of the things listed on the app to purchase but then said is not only out stock, but that there is also no substitution. Literally ordered chicken breasts and a 3 pack of ground beef and the shopper couldn't find not one pack of chicken or ground beef???? And no garlic or coffee??? Idk if it's laziness of the shopper, or maybe some time limit put on them by higher ups to only allow maybe 3 seconds for each item but still you go to the aisle and you're bound to have some meat and rice and vegetables in a grocery store right? So I still had to go to another store to get these extremely basic and essential food items. A waste of my time setting up this order and will not recommend them ever. read more
