In town for FFW at GSU and saw rooftop patio looked empty so we swung on in. Not a ton of parking unless you park in lot adjacent to them. However, lots of seating options! Outdoor covered seating, rooftop covered seating and indoor. It was pretty packed down below but we grabbed 2 rooftop bar seats up top. From there, everything was perfect. Honestly, this place was the best I've eaten at EVER in the 'Boro. 5 stars on atmosphere, food, view and service. We opted for brunch menu but did the pretzel appetizer with beer cheese. The beer cheese was thicker than normal but good. I did the French toast burger with fried okra. Daaayum, tasted like a fluffy McGriddle but much larger! I could barely finish it. GET THE LEE'S SAUCE FOR DIPPING! It's like the Zax sauce but with more tang and kick. We accompanied our meal with a pitcher of electric lemonade (a Statesboro staple, going back to the days of Wild Wings & Dick's Dawg House). The entire experience was like "The Run" by AP (no, not the runs ).

I got back to my hotel and they left off the salmon. I called the restaurant and asked if someone could deliver to my hotel. The manager said there wasn't anyone that was able to do that. That's baloney! Very poor customer service. I told the person who recommended this place to me to never recommend it to anyone again! Mike F, Saint Augustine, Florida.

And the person (who I believe was the manager) was also amazing! They were both attentive and sweet. (Just don't tell Bailey she looks like Debbie Gallagher from Shameless - even though she does!) Only negative was the wait for the food, but honestly, it was worth it!

The exterior is in very…read morepoor condition, needs painting and some new timbers on porches, ramps and rails; but the inside of the old mansion is lovely. Built in 1914, the grandson of original house builder, still cooks in the restaurant. We especially loved the baked mac-n-cheese, lima beans, ham and fried chicken. Very reasonably priced all-you-can-eat at $12,50 family style, we loved eeverything. We were there right at the 11 AM opening, so I took lots of pics the dining areas, so beautiful. The waittress was very attentive and took excellent care of us. If the owners would scrape and paint the exterior I would gladly have given it 5 stars.

One of the best places in GA to eat at! Every time I go, the staff is always super friendly,…read moretalkative, and overall great. Every time I go in with my boyfriend, they know our order by heart. The food is always so good, with my favorite being the massaman curry and basil fried rice. The drinks are bomb too! The place is decorated very beautifully, I highly recommend taking some inspiration from the wall decor. I went to GSU for 4 years for my undergrad, and the last two have been spent there. If I had known about it sooner, I would've been there. Anytime someone asks where they should eat dinner that night, I always recommend Coconut Thai. They have added karaoke nights as well as college nights too! Overall, this place holds a special place in my heart, and I miss it a lot already. Everything about this place is a 10/10. After I got my undergrad degree, they gave us an ice cream to give us good faith and luck on our endeavors. This is the kind of place that I want to share with everyone.

Food was hot and fresh at pickup. That said, the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew weren't quite what I expected. They actually tasted pretty similar to each other -- mine (Pad Thai) leaned more peanut-forward and tamarind-heavy, his (Pad See Ew) was sweeter with more fish sauce. I'm used to a more orange-hued Pad Thai, but this version was darker, sweeter, and nuttier than I typically like. I did order it hot and gluten free -- appreciated that GF is an option on most dishes, or clearly labeled -- and there was some spice to it, though I could've handled more heat. The Pad See Ew was also very pale compared to the darker, soy-based sauce I'm used to at other spots. Mango sticky rice was the best part of the meal, though I prefer it with a thick coconut cream sauce on top so the rice isn't as dry -- the mango itself was great. Overall, it's fine if you just want to scratch a Thai food itch, but I've had better elsewhere and probably wouldn't go out of my way to order again.

Anna gave us some brief detail about the menu such as what's in Corn Maque Choux and made a suggestion about which cocktail was for dessert. Another big plus (especially here in the Boro) is the manager visited every table. Big points for all three minus the one that was supposed to be our waitress. Ambiance/Decor: It's a diner so it's a bit loud. But it was comfortable, this is Statesboro and I was still in my gym clothes so it was enjoyable. Cute bar. But I do wish for more noise softening. Food n drink: Nice cocktail list and robust for a small place. Grasshopper cocktail was good and perfect for after dinner cocktail. Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer was very good. Pasta Jambalaya was very good. I wasn't a fan of Fish Platter that I requested to be blackened. It was way too blackened in my opinion. The sides seemed over processed but I ate most of it.
