Here's the good:
Ralph is thorough, polite, and determined to do everything he can to get your vehicle looking wonderful. After our collision, I let Ralph do the work: not only was he able to match 15-year old paint, he made the van look almost better than new. Took extra time for parts to be re-ordered because they weren't a perfect fit. For body work, I cannot imagine any body shop doing a better job than Ralph. The price is more than fair for the work done. Five stars for body work!
And here's the bad:
When I drove it away, my non-smoker conversion van REEKED of cigarette smoke. I couldn't even breathe. It was awful! I confronted Ralph, who admitted smoking in the van while doing some interior work. I took the van to my detailer, who found cigarette butts in the rear bed ashtray. He sealed it up and bombarded the van with ozone for hours.. After airing it out, the van seemed to be clear and free of cigarette smell. Over time, however, I am noticing that the odor is creeping back. One star for destroying my overall enjoyment of my vehicle.
Between the 5 stars for good and the 1 star for bad, I averaged it out to 3 stars.
Bottom Line: If you smoke in your car, I highly recommend Ralph's Body Shop. If you do not smoke and want to retain the value of your vehicle... avoid that place like the plague. read more
