I had a really disappointing experience at Rally's. First off, the walk-up service was terrible. The young woman at the window, who appeared to be pregnant, was rude and clearly had no interest in helping customers. My food took way too long, and when I finally got it, the chicken was over-fried to the point of being nearly inedible. On top of that, I was given the wrong sauce. something so simple that should be right every time. To make things worse, most of the staff were just standing around, chatting, and not doing much of anything. No sense of urgency or care for customers at all. This Rally's is the epitome of garbage in a bag. The employees create their own hours (aka they close 25 min before they should as marijuana smoke billows out of the drive thru window). I went to the drive thru and they just said "we closed" when they are clearly not interested in serving their customers (they laughed in our faces as they point out the hours that indicate they are still open). If you're dying of starvation, seek elsewhere. They will just tell you they're closed. Pathetic. I quickly closed it up and killed the roach and threw it away outside so my home doesn't become infested. What makes it worse is I finished eating two chilli dogs. Awful disorganization and and customer service. Waited in line at drive thru for 15 minutes, got to the ordering spot and were told to wait 10 minutes because they were busy. After ten minutes was told they were not taking orders except Doordash. Was told we had to get out of line and could drive around because they had to see which cars were picking up Doordash orders. I placed an order online to be picked up at 12:30. When I got there at 12:32 the food wasn't ready (not a huge deal if I had only had to wait a minute or two longer but no ...) They said they just started working on it. I waited for 13 minutes to receive food that was room temperature , soggy , and incorrect. I asked for no cheese on my spicy chicken double and there was cheese. I also never even got my mozzarella sticks. Then I had to ask for my drink because they simply handed me my bag of crappy food and walked away like I was done being taken care of. I will not be returning. They forgot to make my sandwich until I reached the window so they threw together what resembled a fish sandwich but it was so visually unappealing I decided to avoid illness and not eat it. Hopefully Rally's management reads this as we experienced some unprofessional customer service. We had enjoyed a awesome event and decided to rope it off with some midnight food. As we ordered, one of the worker make a gesture "Chinese eyes" literally gestured Chinese eyes in front of us ( this is at 2am on 9/20/2022) so you can figure out which staff it was. They may deny but several of our party saw them do it. Maybe she was upset cuz we ordered a lot of food but damn we are giving business to u. Anyways, first of all, we are Filipino not Chinese and secondly, we come with love and positivity. If Rally's is all about hate, hope they change this. We came just to enjoy some food, that's it. No need to show any hate. We are actually from Los Angeles area and give love to all races. But to experience this was shocking... take a look at at workers and make some adjustments. This location is the worst location I've ever been to. The employees are rude, dress badly and use profanity. The wait is ridiculous. They have two Windows but only use one. They don't even bother to shut the one side down. They wait for the customer to pull in, wait, then ask them to use the other side. It's so dirty inside. They sling stuff everywhere. We were only getting ice cream. Apparently the only person to make those was the girl taking the orders. Needless to say, if she's making ice cream, she can't take orders. The line was ridiculous. I'm not sure who manages this place, but they're not doing a very good job. The drive thru wait is horrendous almost as if you're waiting on food to be ready, but then the food is waiting on you and already cold by the time you get to the window. Most orders are wrong most of the time. I have really enjoyed the more well-run Checker's and Rally's I've lived near in the past, but I won't be visiting this one again anytime soon. read more

This is your typical Rally's restaurant. Nothing different from the other ones. The only complaints that I have about this particular location is the difficulty pulling out onto Madison Road or Red Bank Road. In addition, the wait for the drive thru itself is painfully long, and the clerks can be rude at times. I have yet to be encountered with the latter when I am in a horrible mood, but if that time comes they will know. Solid food as usual, and if you're in the area, I recommend finding another establishment but if you're budget conscious this is a viable option for you. read more

I can't hardly take it anymore. The quality Rally's once had has changed drastically. At one point I'd prefer rally's fries over McDonald's and that was almost impossible! When we pulled up to the window they asked us to pull ahead to wait for our food, no big deal. 10-15 minutes later they started waving the bag outside the window for us to walk over and grab the food. Back in the 90's I used to love going to Rally's for the best and cheapest fast food in the business. The food was served fast off a simple menu and their fries were second to none. Fast forward to 2019 and I found myself back in Cincinnati after 24 years. My girlfriend and I decided to drive through Rally's on Madison road for a late night meal. Bad idea. We were stuck in the line for half an hour - waiting ten minutes before they even took our order. No, they didn't even offer the courtesy of a "Thank you for choosing Rally's we'll be with you shortly." We actually discussed the option during the 30 minute wait of pulling out of the line and driving off. We watched as one of the cars ahead of us parked and the man stormed over to the restaurant, unhappy with his order in hand. When we finally got our food we decided it would be a good idea to check our order least we end up like him. The cashier asked "Is everything okay?" to which we told her we were just making sure everything was there. She rudely responded "because I'm timed on how fast we complete our orders." Really??!! She keeps us waiting in line for half and hour and only when we had the control in our hands does it matter how fast she moves us through the line. There was another woman working with her we assume was the manager even though she was offering no direction and leadership. The menu was now cluttered up in an attempt to make it look more like Hardee's but obviously way too much for two employees in such a tiny store. I drive by this place all the time on my way to/from work but we have never once returned here or any other Rally's location. We discussed the worst restaurants we had been to in town and there were almost none and this was easily at the top of the list. I even gave the corporation a chance to redeem themselves when I sent them an email giving all the details to include the cashier's name the time and date but we got no response let alone an apology. When it comes to cheap fast food, Rally's is hands-down better than the competition. You really can't beat their 2/$3 specials on fish sandwiches, double burgers, chili dogs, etc. And the wings are better than the ones at a lot of places that charge more. This is the worse Rally's I've been to, let me explain... Tuesday night February 6, 2018 around 9:30 p.m., after leaving my brother's basketball game at Seven Hills high school, he said he wanted Rally's, we're in the drive thru ordering our food and the Manger on duty asks " hold on, how many orders do yo have?" I answered "we only have one order." Someone one intervened and said " you need to lower your voice, and stop yelling." I responded "no one was yelling," she said "you were and we don't do that around here," followed by " y'all can go somewhere else, I bet y'all will be sitting there and y'all food will be cold cuz you bitches ain't getting shit!" The manager, you can see was in the window laughing as if she thought that was the funniest thing ever! I drove to the window to ask for a manager because the lady dressed in black could not have been it to let such rudimentary behavior happen in front of her. She walked away from the window and didn't come back. She went and called the police on me. I spoke with the police and told him that they were very rude and he said, the only thing that could happen is that we call corporate! If I were you I would stay far away from this establishment!
