For all of your Chiefs needs, this is the place to be. Listen, they have great pricing and the selection is out of this world. This place is the ultimate stop for your child's gear. Now, there was a time when I asked a young man for help when it came to sizing, and he kept walking away as if he didn't want to help me. And for that I gave 4 stars. This is the Independence location of the local sports apparel chain. Like their other locations, this store is packed to the brim with goodies from your favorite local and regional team. Royals, Chiefs and Sporting KC. KU, K-State and Mizzou. Northwest Missouri State, Wichita State, and even Nebraska and Arkansas too. If you want it then there's a good chance that they have it. Some small complaints... the store is a decent size, but I think is overstocked. There are too many racks that are too close together which makes browsing a little tough. The staff tries to be helpful, but I also think they're a little outnumbered. It can be a little tough tracking somebody down. read more

I am a disabled patron and when I went in to shop I was asking the ploy about several different types of hat in sizes, and he indicated to me the head that I was looking for you did not have in the size I was thinking. I was trying to reach on top of hi I am 53 and the hats were very high up and not once did he offered to help you when I finally did reach the hat I was looking at I asked him if any of your other stores had any of the same style hats in the size I need it. He said to me that I could look up the phone number and call them I asked him politely if he could call for me and he smirked at me with a slight grin on his face and acted as if I should do it myself I shop here all the time at different locations throughout the Kansas City area and not once have I ever been treated the way I was treated today so I recommend to anybody who is reading this post the gentleman's name at the counter he said his name was the D and it was in a very disrespectful way to me. Furthermore I am an amputee did not once did he offer to help me reach the hat I was trying to reach although he seen me for almost twice and you're welcome to look that up on your video surveillance so I recommend not shopping at this place anymore.. read more

I received a Patrick Mahomes jersey from my son for Christmas. Unfortunately, it was too small. It was Christmas Eve day but my son told me to take it back to Rally House and exchange it. I didn't want to go since it was Christmas Eve and I figured it would be a big hassle. The young lady greeted me , I got right up to the counter, she found the size I needed, made the exchange and I was out of there in five minutes. All of this from a smiling associate who I'm sure was stressed and ready for us to all go home. She was wonderful and she is the best customer service associate I have seen in years. read more

This was the biggest mess I've had in a long time (since K-Mart was open) ordering a sports jersey for my grandson's birthday......missed of course due to not being shipped when I told that it had been. The Independence location is really nice. I went in to get some long sleeve gear before the Royals game because the weather in KC is nuts! They had a large selection and the staff was just the right amount of helpful. Originally I had ordered my shirt on line but then I saw you could pick it up in the store. I stopped on my way home from work and made the purchase. A week or so later I stopped in to return the duplicate shirt I ordered on line and the process was so easy. The staff was again great. I purchased a blank jersey for my husband for Father's Day knowing that rally house also does embroider! Traveled from Lee's Summit to Overland Park location to get the Jersey embroidered after first calling to verify this location does embroider, never once being advised that the store is out of letters until arrival! upon arrival my husband was handled unsympathetically and now when he called to get status they no longer can do embroidery says the representative taking the call according to her manage!!!!!! The worst customer service ever! I am unsure if they are responding in such a way because my husband is black but this is certainly not acceptable!!!!! starting to seem like a trend as my husband witnessed another black customer being treated and handled carelessly causing a hostile experience right before his awful instore experience!!!!!!! read more

I placed an order on 4/1 for a Royals hat that showed it was in stock and I could pick it up at the store after 3PM. I called this morning (4/2) to be sure it was there and they said they didn't have it in stock. When I told them I had an email that showed I could pick it up, the guy I was talking with was extremely rude and didn't care whether he could help me or not. This is my 3rd bad experience with Rally House (other 2 were in December for Christmas gifts) and it will definitely be my last. I will pay 10X the amount somewhere else to purchase an item before ever going back to Rally House in Independence or anywhere else. They have horrible customer service and the people are rude even in the store. No more. read more

Wouldn't buy from this company as they do not stand behind their products. Bought a shirt that I wore at most 3 times. Washed It and it split at the seam under the arm. They wouldn't replace it because it had been washed. Take your business elsewhere, As they will not do a thing to reconcile a bad product. O read more

I really like Rally House! I am a huge sports fan (not an athlete) and I love that this store sells stuff for fans -- things like hoodies, home goods, and game day gear that you just can't find at other sporting goods stores. We stopped by yesterday for the Sporting KC championship shirt and found that my size was nearly sold out -- everybody wants that shirt and apparently this is the best place to find it. They also have stuff for the Chiefs, Royals, Tigers, Jayhawks, souvenirs, barbecue sauce... Basically this is a cross section of all things Kansas City. Even though the store is huge, the sections are really well defined, so it's easy to find your way around, and if you can't, the people working here are really helpful and can find anything in the store in about six seconds flat. I was briefly signed up to receive emails through the rewards program, but I wouldn't recommend it personally. The emails were constant and I officially unsubscribed when I received two in four minutes. But honestly I really love having this store in the neighborhood. read more
