I had only ordered from Shibe through mail order until my last visit to Philadelphia. Then, as I'm killing time and walking around before a concert, I walked past their physical shop. I had to duck in. Lots of Eagles Super Bowl swag, stickers, shirts and hats. I purchased Phils and Birds stickers and a really cool Phillies knit cap. Prices are way more competitive than I would've expected from a place located in the heart of the city. One interesting thing, while I was perusing the shop a person walked in and asked the employees "Do you sell anything aside from Philly teams?" The answer "Absolutely not". A minor complaint was uttered as he walked back out. I'm so here for that.

I'm not the type of person who asks for a second opinion when I shop and I like to move quickly. It's almost comical because if I even touch something, I hear in the background: "Oh that looks so great on" "I love to wear that paired with jeans and a cute belt" "Have you seen that in our other colors?" Cool, and no I haven't, but I will eventually if you let me live. Once you're in the dressing room you're really trapped. Behind the curtain the associate is playing twenty questions and if you dare say you didn't love it, she's bringing you more clothes she thinks you should try on. I get it though - i should be grateful that the store associates are super attentive and sociable - but let me breathe for a second. Let me browse uninterrupted. Let's mutually understand that I'm not going to buy the pants because they looked amazing on your friend. If I wanted it in navy I would have grabbed it in navy. I'm a dog walker and a gym rat so for me, comfortable, functional gym wear is really important! I have 2 pairs and I'm debating getting a third pair, the deep cellphone pocket is really what I love, so few pairs of gym pants have pockets, and Athleta's deep pocket has me sold. I can fit my iPhone 6S Plus in my pocket! The material that the Relay's are made of seems to wick away the sweat so I can wear them in warmish weather and also on cooler days. They're stylish and ohh so comfortable with the drawstring too. I suggest hand drying them though. I've bought a few tops at Athleta too which I like and was very comfortable but wasn't of the same quality as the pants. I like that I can use my Gap charge card and Rewards here and that they offer classes, I think it would be fun to check them out! They were giving away free KIND bars and that was a nice touch. I also really like the complimentary tote bags that they give you when you shop with them! My only "2 cents" of advice: they have a great return policy but I would appreciate a bit more clarification on it. I exchanged two or three pairs of pants because I thought that was part of the return policy but then I was made to feel guilty for doing so... I think it's a great return policy but it would be nice if it was a bit more clear as to whether exchanging clothes is part of it or not because that left me feeling confused and unclear. I do really appreciate Brooke exchanging the pants though! That was really nice and I really appreciate it! Also, the prices here are less than Lulu Lemon but - they still are a bit expensive... if they had more reasonably priced merchandise or sales more often I would shop here more often! I think $70 for a pair of gym pants is a little pricey, in my book, but they are great quality. The CC crew, like the others, are absolutely awesome! They will put in painstaking efforts for shoe fitting to support your quest for the perfect shoes. I can speak to their apparel as well, which I try to rock frequently. I can also speak to the staff knowledge on training supplies, top notch, and the store's stock of said supplies (electrolytes, gels, chews) which will ensure you can hit your goals. Beyond the items in the shop, check PR CC out for their group activities, such as weekly Thursday runs, planned vendor visits, and a slew of others I which aren't popping in my head at the moment. These events are great because friendly staff attract friendly athletes (of all skill and experience)!

This store is always presented really beautifully, but as a savvy shopper, I rarely spend much time up front. Free People is notoriously expensive at full price but, once things go on sale, it's a whole new ballgame. I've found some great stuff in the sale racks, though you have to be prepared to really comb through as everything is squeezed together. Finally, I'm obsessed with the reusable bags they give for purchases. I use these all the time over other reusable bags simply because they're so pretty.
