Absolutely disappointing and unprofessional. We went to them since we wanted to work with a local shop on our engagement ring, their guy seemed nice, but it theirs out he wasn't experienced or qualified and was bs'ing his way through things. When we asked some simple clarification questions he told us he could t work with us anymore, ran away and disappeared, with only a couple months before the wedding leaving us without a ring. The diamond we gave him to use when it came back was clearly substituted with another cheaper one, and our inquiries went unanswered. This is theft, and these folks are un trustworthy and not a professional operation or interested in any kind of respectful and honest customer service. Stay clear of them and work with someone more on the level. read more

This place is neither a workshop nor underground but I'm not going to hold that against it. What it is is an adorable little shop with some really cute jewelry that's actually affordable (3 pack of studs for $20, yes please), trinkets that would make great gifts (hello lighter with 8track design and penguin shaped cocktail mixer), and some great hats and ear muffs that are on sale right now, just to give some examples. They're also going to be adding some plant life to their selection. Staff was friendly but not too pushy, and even offered me a mimosa while I shopped! Genius business plan. I bought some really cute earrings and I feel like they were discounted because of that drink, that's how that works right? Love this store! Their custom-made engagement rings are so beautiful! I spoke with the owner and he explained that he meets one on one to design the ring with the couple/fiancés. I wish my husband and I had know about this place when we were getting married. I did get some jewelry - it was so beautiful and very well priced! I'm definitely coming back to get gifts. Ruben is the best! I went to Workshop Underground for my wife's engagement ring, and then back again for her wedding band. Ruben was so nice, knowledgeable, and fun to work with. He expertly walked me through the process of designing a ring that my wife absolutely adores. He also worked within my budget and never pushed me to spend more. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. My sister had purchased a pair of earrings for my birthday from here and I lost one. Beside myself, I messaged them to ask if they had any more. They messaged me back immediately saying the would look and unfortunately couldn't find any but let me know they'd check with the manufacturer. No luck there either. A week later they messaged me and let me know they had located the earrings and would ship them to me. I was in Europe so couldn't give them a call and they held them for me for a week. I ended up being in Philadelphia this weekend and called the store and left a message. Ruben called me back and gave me his cell so he wouldn't miss my call next time. Today I went in and besides the store having an amazing selection of jewelry, Ruben couldn't have been nicer and asked me how my trip was and offered extra earring backs so I didn't lose another earring. I love this place. They have a wide selection of gold and silver jewelry, all types, plus some accessories and gift items like scarves, purses, candles, unique bar tools and housewares. I always find things I like and everything is really reasonably priced.
