In response to Nora E.'s review dated 11-24-12--you previously described your kids as " (2 dudes) even dealt with my little demanding kids." Leave the little obnoxious kids at home next time or control them yourself, which you obviously don't have a clue as to how to do. Then a cashier won't be put in the position of doing what you should do yourself, for you. He's not paid enough for that! As to not coming back to the store while this cashier is employed there, THANK YOU--none of us other customers want you or your rude, obnoxious, little demanding kids there, either. You are doing us all a favor by not coming back; again, THANK YOU. I have read most of your other reviews--you are a very unhappy person who doesn't like much of anything, and this review is a continuation of that string. Why don't you learn to write correctly in the English language & spell words properly? Ever heard of a "spell check" or "grammar check" program? They are free. Back to Raley's--this cashier obviously has a high standard for dealing with customers & for customers dealing with him that you can not begin meet. Read that "YOU ARE A FAILURE" Raley's is an excellent store with excellent people working there, and provides excellent service to the customers--from your prior reviews, you do not recognize any of these traits. Try either Safeway or the Lucky's with your brat kids & see how far you get there. You & your kids will fit right in at WalMart or 7-11. BTW, I am the man who was directly behind you in the checkout line and witnessed the whole incident. You, and your obnoxious kids got exactly what they deserved !!!! read more

We live nearby and love the convenience. The pharmacy is absolutely the best! Majid, the manager, is always friendly and helps you if there is problems with the insurance authorizations. He knows your name and waves when you walk down the aisles. The other fellow Dan, is also very good. They are the best! Our family has a lot of medication needs and they always provide the best service and counseling of the medication (if you need it). Raleys has great quality produce, although they are not as competitvely priced as the other large chains like Safeway or Lucky. I love the deli, especially the Sizzing Wok and the brandy fried chicken. It is not a health food, for sure, but I love to indulge once in a while and try to catch it during a weekly special price. The Asian lady there is always so friendly. I recognize the staff there, it seems like there is not a lot of turnover. The store is always clean and well organized. Parking is always easy too. read more

I want to give Pleasanton Sunol Raley's a 1 and would actually give a 0 if I could as I just witnesses a red headed white cashier belittle a young mother who was only trying to return a product Which was unopened and still in the box with her receipt in hand. This red headed cashier automatically became defensive and refused to return her item and belittled her in front of everyone. I have been shopping here for so many years and have never witnessed this here. Pleasanton is so welcoming and caring but this cashier completely changed my mind in coming to this store again. I feel bad for the young gal who must have been so embarrassed. The customer always comes first no matter what and thier appearance should never matter. From what I saw this cashier judged this gal at first sight. Please don't shop here!! I will be posting in next door as well read more

Stopped here on my way home and was pleasantly surprised how well maintained this Raley's location is. The isles are clearly labeled and laid out for you, the fruits and veggies were beautifully displayed and easy to get to, they even have a pete's coffee inside for anyone who is looking for that caffeine fix. Customer service was spot on here. The lines were a little long, but the checkout line moved pretty quickly. I told an employee there I couldn't find the paper towels anywhere and instead of just point to the isle she actually walked my over to where they were. If I lived in the area I would definitely stop in here from time to time, great store. read more

This Raley's is awesome! It's huge, has everything you need regarding groceries and most of what you would need for house hold supplies (bathroom items, cleaning items, kitchen gadgets, and more!) I love the look and feel of this store. My daughter and I love to go to this store for our needs. There's never a long line here either. They always have enough cashiers to make check out quick. And if you have less than 20 items you can go through one of the 6 (I think I counted 6) self check stands. Today my daughter and I were in and out in under 10 minutes! read more

Best cakes around. I love the chocolate cake with Whip Cream icing & filling. It's a MUST TRY! I must say that entire store & staff are really accommodating. Prices are a little higher than say Safeway, but some things are cheaper & it's worth the extra money for the service & quality food. By the way, the produce and meat are far better than Safeway. read more

This is my local grocery store and I have always had a good experience. I come here because the produce is usually very good compared to some of the Safeways in the area. I also love this Raleys because the chicken tenders are so amazing and crispy I have to get a bag every single time that I go because my family loves them. read more

I always love Raley's. They are always very clean. I had to learn the layout since I am new to Pleasanton, California, but it was fairly the same to the previous Raley's I am used to. Great friendly Employees. I've never had a problem with any Raley's thus far! read more

HACKED, CREDIT AND DEBIT CARDS COMPROMISED. They do not secure your transactions. Not sure why they even store such data. Major failing by Raleys. Many reports that hackers are trying to use accounts. It happened to us as we'll. read more

I love this Raley's Supermarket. The staff is always friendly and the store is very clean. I especially like their selection of fruit. Although, it is a little more expensive than Safeway you pay for quality. read more

I like to shop at Raleys but their new way of accessing their site is terrible. I've stopped trying. I used to use their site all the time until they changed everything not easy, and I don't use. read more

Happy with this store. A little pricey sometimes, but they also have reasonable deals if you look around for them. Convenient location and a step above Safeway. read more

Marilee has an intense attitude problem. Especially to the older folk. That's all i'm going to say. Leave that tude at home maam!

Apparently a US passport is not considered a valid ID when looking to purchase alcohol here.

They redid the interior and looks great! The staff is very helpful and I feel very welcomed!

Excellent store. Wish they had better packaged salad, like Taylor Farms.
