Well I like going to Raley's more than Lucky's because the produce looks to be fresher and the aisles are clean and product is organized somewhat better than Lucky's. I've had good experience with their butchers and having them marinate or season meats I have purchased in the past and the marinade (Jamaican Jerk) was good. I think big chain grocery stores are very convenient and going to one that is clean, organized and has fresh products makes a big difference. read more

Was just in Raley's at the deli section. We wanted to get some sliced lunch meat. We have normally only had stand in the line to order sandwiches. A man walked up asking if we were in line. As I said we wanted deli meat, the girl behind the sandwich counter yelled down the deli counter that there was only one line for the entire section. She was very rude when she said it. The man looked at me and commented how rude that was and walked away. I agreed with him. We got our lunch meat and I asked the young man the name of the girl at the sandwich counter, he said Cece. Again she yelled down the deli counter, 'Cece, my name is Cece'. As she glared at me. (My daughter thought she said her name might me Stacy.). I have gone to this Raley's for 27 years and never had a Raley's employee be so rude. read more

Their custom cakes are delicious! Been getting my kids birthday cakes here and everyone loves them! the last one they just did for me was a Minecraft! they are very welcoming and approachable. This is our regular market we get everything from here . They have a pretty good selection of meats and cheeses and a nice selection of already prepared food for dinner or lunch. I love that they have free fruit for the kids too big plus when I'm in and my kids devouring groceries before I even get out of the store lol read more

This review is for the Pharmacy. Horrible staff and customer service. Whenever we go in, there is one tech who always acts like she's going out of her way to help. The last two times she helped me, she couldn't locate my prescriptions anywhere and had to have the pharmacist find them in the bin. They were on top... just today I called to have a few refilled. First two, no problem, got to the last one and they apparently have no record of me ever filling that one with them. Even though I have the bottle and everything. Had to go home and call it in, which is always a hassle because they rarely answer the phone and the automated system is slow. Hubby and I will be going elsewhere from now on. read more

I got a 3 tier super hero cake which wasn't made correctly. They didn't have proper support inside the cake. The lid was taped pushing it forward. By the time it made it to my sons party it was tipped over. I called the store they said to bring back the cake to get my money back. I had to go buy another cake. I brought back their cake and they gave me a gift card I paid cash for the cake. I want my money back. They got their cake why did they give me a gift card? I am very upset about this incident. I've shopped in this store for many years!! I can always find what I need!! Staff are all very nice and friendly!!! If there is something I can't find or something they don't have everyone makes every effort to get the product for me!!! Pam in the pharmacy is always polite and welcoming with her warm smile . She always makes sure I'm current with all my medications!! Dean and Rudy in produce are always working hard keeping the produce looking great! If there is anything special I need or want they make sure I get it!! TJ and Judy, Mindy and all of the clerks up front get my order checked out fast and are very polite!! Courtesy clerks are careful making sure correct product are combined together!! All of the departments are wonderful and it nice not feeling like it not a chore going to the store!! Thanks to Arnie the pharmacist for getting my prescription last night. I showed up at 7:05 PM with a script and new insurance. The pharmacist had to spend 15 minutes with the insurance company to get me setup in addition to filling the Rx. Based on what I saw at my doctor's office I'm sure it's been crazy busy for him and there were no techs working at the time. I really appreciate his effort to help me. read more

This is for the pharmacy. I've had to fill a prescription three times in the past few months. All three times there were issues. The pharmacist initially told me the doctor had not responded to their fax for a refill. Then, after I talked to the doctor who had not even received anything, the pharmacist said they couldn't find the fax number. Really? It took about 30 seconds to find it on line. Or they could have called the doctor. Instead, he made up some story to try to make the doctor look bad when all along, it was the pharmacist who hadn't done his job. Third time refilling the scrip was more of the same nonsense. I complained to corporate about him, but clearly they don't care because nothing was done to correct the horrible service. I absolutely love the store itself, but the pharmacy on the other hand is the WORST! I wouldn't give it any stars if I could. I have had many issues with then, and especially with one certain pharmacy tech. She is always rude, and has something to say. She has asked me if I can afford prescriptions for my children, and has always had the worst customer service towards my husband and I. Trying to refill prescriptions the last 3 times has been a pain. No one answered their phones, left messages saying who I was and asking for a call back, but no one called back, and then I go in and this lady says I didn't leave my sons name so the pharmacist didn't know who I was and just disregard the message. I told her I left my number and he could have called, and she said it was another pharmacist and shrugged her shoulder and walked away. Very rude and UNPROFESSIONAL! read more

NEVER GO there I sent my husband to the store the cashier pre selected cash on our EBT food card assuming nobody that goes to Raley's pays with EBT food. And when I ask if we can put it on our food instead of cash they said the computer won't allow it. I asked for a return and just put our money back on the card they said the computer wont allow them to and they don't except food returns unless there's something wrong with the items. It's a grocery store unless foods are damage they can't except returns? What if we bought more then we wanted to, or its not the right brand, its our fault? Customers should always have that right to return items. So I asked the manager because I have returned items back on my card in different stores she said its part of there policy that they can't return money back n EBT cards and that it was our faults. I ask were is it written that items can't be returned on our EBT CASH she said she doesn't know. There's no signs near the cash register, nothing printed on there receipts so how would customers know. It's common courtesy if there were signs then it allows customers to pick and choose stores more wiser. Raley's in Oakley, ca sucks and so does there management. read more

Absolutely the best customer service of any grocery store in the area. Polite, kind and they go out of their way to help. Never a better shopping experience. The prices seem higher than elsewhere, however, it looks as if it can be afoldable with smart shopping and coupons. Going to make this my new home shopping place. read more

Better than Lucky's, but that's not saying much. I shouldn't have to dip into my 401k to go grocery shopping! I make good money, but that doesn't mean I can't shop wisely.
