I had an issue with one of my fleet vehicles having a squeak somewhere on the front axel. He was able to not only solve it, but explain to me what he was checking and looking for. Having that knowledge is crucial for the business I operate. On top of that-- he responded and set everything up in less than an hour-- in two hours the vehicle was road worthy and ready for the next rental later in the week. Very reasonably priced, very high quality work, extremely knowledgeable and personable. John is the gold standard for automotive maintenance.

We had one of our commercial trucks break down in Rush hour traffic in Raleigh NC, and of course…read morehaving any breakdown is never a pleasant experience. I put in a call to Barbours Towing, and from the very moment their dispatcher answered the phone she made me feel confident we had called the right Towing Company. They were very friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and was able to give me a Up Front Price, I was more than happy with. She was willing to work with me by helping me make decisions on whether to tow it 2 hrs back home, or save some money on the tow, and just have somebody in the Local Raleigh area take a look at the truck for me. And even though I did notice on their website, they also work on commercial vehicles, I truly appreciate the fact of her offering the option of having one of their service techs take a look at it for us, and at the same time remaining true to her professional abilities and never trying to push their repair services on me. She was also very helpful in making may payment options easy. I now have Barbours Towing listed in our company Rolodex and in my phone in case the worst ever happens again Thanks Barbours, we really appreciate the hassle free help at a reasonable price! And if I could make any request from them it would be: There's nothing like speaking to the tow truck driver and being told straight from him "I should be there in approx 15-20 min", then you can relax a little and feel confident that he's coming. We waited, he did show up, but he left us wondering that whole time if he was coming. The driver has the ability to put a stranded motorist at ease with just one call, and it's such a easy thing to do now-a-days. Please ask your drivers to start calling the customer. Thanks Again

I drive a small Honda CRV and was fortunate that there was room to pull over. The truck was so close to my vehicle that it touched my back right rim. A passing vehicle stopped to see if I was hurt. David offered to take the tire off, take one of us to the nearest tire store, and bring us back so he can put the tire on. This probably saved us hours of waiting and who knows how much money. David is proof that there are still good people in the world. He is a genuinely great human being.

Well, that mental note was worth the paper it was printed on because after about 15 minutes of driving around and exploring Raleigh, my car decided it was done. Oops. Fortunately, I was able to coast to a safe spot and figure out my current address. And even better, there was a 4G so that I could boot up the GEICO app and request assistance. Just under 30 minutes later (they promised 45), this gentleman shows up with a can of gas. We poured it into my car and made sure it started up and then he was off. Friendly, helpful and "Yes, this really happens all the time" so I didn't feel bad about being an idiot. That was all on me. Great service from ASAP and when (not if) I do another stupid, I'll be looking for them. [Review 12858 overall, 174 of 2020.]
