If you want a doctor and staff that truly listen when you talk, read what you wrote, are…read morecomfortable in their own skin enough to be open, direct, and empathetic without pity, are smart, thorough and efficient, You have landed right where you have dreamed so long! My quality of life, ability to breathe, function at work and home, has been improved and tweaked by Dr. Fitzhugh and the staff of Allergy Partners of CH since 2013. Other doctors failed to focus on my concerns, rather they referred for other, less prioritized health concerns. Breathing was my priority. Just good ole oxygenation. I dropped giving a flip about derm, ortho, cardio, and sought a professional to help me breathe again. Allergy Partners communicates within their office and to their patients well. The best communication I'd experienced as of 2013. They're currently honing patient comm tools to better receive patient updates and respond in kind. Allergy testing was thoroughly explained, detailing positive reactions so I wouldn't be alarmed. Smooth procedure of superficial contact test and infiltrative intradermal testing. Barely felt a thing, then just waited to gauge reaction. Once allergies are identified and ruled out, Dr. Fitzhugh calmly explained results and effective treatment. Same after spirometry testing my expiratory volume, stamina, and response to bronchodilators. I eagerly anticipate therapeutic response and even more improved quality of life the next few months as my doctors communicate with one another, bouncing ideas around to best treat not only my asthma, but balance the other disease and ailments with my respiratory/GI codependent disease. Feel Mo' Betta with Dr David Fitzhugh, Tyrell, Jan and Pam on your health team!

All of the staff was amiable and the allergist used great listening and motivational interviewing skills to provide the best care. He ran the appropriate tests and gave me a prescription that has helped quell my asthma symptoms tremendously. I highly recommend coming here and am glad that my PCP referred me to this location. I live in VA and would come back just to recieve treatment like this again.

I see Dr. Jose Antonio Bardelas at this location. Dr. Bardelas is a well educated, very…read moreexperienced allergy specialist. My first visit at this clinic, he gave me the standard allergy test, where they check your reactions to different common allergens on your back. After sitting for 20 minutes or so, I had to have a few retested on my arm. After that, he talked with me about the results and the different allergies I tested positive for. He was very informative and he cared about how much money I was going to have to spend on medications. He gave me a coupon for my (very expensive) eye drops. He also gave me a coupon for my inhaler. After that, he gave me several coupons on covers for my mattress and my pillows. His staff was very kind too. My least favorite part is the asthma test where you have to blow into the tube machine. It's complicated to do it correctly, because it feels very unnatural, but that's just part of the process. I'm going to keep going to Dr. Bardelas, and if you're looking for an allergist, you should definitely check him out.

He recommended a procedure that was scheduled within 2 weeks of my initial appointment. His entire staff was easy to reach for questions, and communication could not have been better before and after the procedure. Thank you to Dr. Gupta and his staff for helping resolve an issue I was having for 4 years, within 2 appointments (one for an evaluation and one for a procedure)! I highly recommend Dr. Gupta and his practice to anyone needing ENT services.

I would not recommend that anyone see Dr. Gupta. To be frank it's disheartening that someone such…read moreas him is practicing medicine as he has absolutely ZERO tableside manners. I had a bad experience from the second I walk in the door. To start the receptionist was very rude, the waiting room was overcrowded with barely enough room to sit and then I had to wait 40min after my scheduled appointment time to be seen. From there the first lady that brought me back to the room was kind and understood my frustration and explained they were nearly double booked for every appointment that day which is understandable. Once I saw the doctor he walked in the room and did not even introduce himself, he immediately just started reading my referral. From there he grabbed his otoscope and checked my ears, then sat in front of me without saying a word and stuck a nasal speculum in my nose, propped it open and blew gas in my nose with ZERO warning or explanation of what he was doing. He didn't greet me, didn't explain he was about to begin the inspection, didn't walk me through what he was doing and explain that it may be uncomfortable and smell/taste odd, he didn't say a word and immediately went into it. Secondly, when it came time to scope my nasal cavity he did the same exact thing, grabbed his tools and didn't explain a thing to me. He asked me for consent for the scope using the medical terms (I'm assuming for billing purposes) but never explained what he was about to do. I knew so little that I was opening my mouth because I thought he was going to scope my throat, it wasn't until he was 1 inch from my nose that he goes "oh no its going in your nose" then 1 second later started snaking the scope up my nasal cavity. I was so ill-informed I thought he was going in my mouth.. Then as I was wincing from being uncomfortable, rather than comforting me he proceeded to tell me that "it isn't that bad." The entirety of my consultation I couldn't get a single word in as he over talked me every time I tried to engage with him. Tried to explain my sinuses, over talked me then later asked if I have sinus issues. Kept giving blanket statements like "tell me more" with no elaboration as to what he'd wanted me to expand on, seemed more like it was self validation to feel that he was trying to let me talk but was ingenuine and had no direction. The icing on the cake, after I left the office I received a notification that they had filled a prescription for me for an ear infection - I later found out this was an error. This seems to follow suit with their quality of care. Having family in the healthcare system and being engaged to a doctor I understand some things happen but this was exceptionally poor service. I've sat through white coat ceremonies and he took a pledge that he is not upholding as this is far from the best care he can provide. He was rude, arrogant and clearly had no desire to hear my story and understand what I was experiencing. He just wanted to read my referral and rip through it. I'm sorry but this is a private practice specialty, not the ER. If he is overwhelmed it is by his own doing. He clearly has a god complex and thinks everyone is beneath him. People like this SHOULD NOT be practicing medicine. I will not be moving forward with care here and will be canceling my CAT scan appointment. I would highly recommend another practice, a good friend of mine just referred me to Raleigh Capitol Ear Nose and Throat. I would recommend you take your business there as he has nothing but great things to say after having a successful surgery.
