Those personnel decisions were obviously not those of the practitioners - it is obvious that UNC Health Care randomly hired them without any thought or consideration as to people skills (lacking), care (apparently none) or compassion (not evident). It is disappointing to me that just caring and highly qualified physicians and staff should be saddled with the junior varsity in the front office.

So I had to stand there for over 5 minutes for them to finish their conversation before the employee sitting at the desk asked how she could help. I stated my name and it took her a split second to hand me the paperwork signed by my awesome doctor. Both of these employees were discouteous, and unprofessional. They both need remedial training on how to treat patients when they enter the doctors office. This has never happened before at Duke Primary care in wake forest and I hope this review finds them both well. ​

I've had to wait 3-6 months to establish care in the past only to find out that the provider isn't a good fit with my health goals, or retiring. Laura and the office staff were genuinely happy, as well as efficient and welcoming. Having labs on site, an easy to navigate patient portal and televisit capability are all fabulous perks as well. Feel like I finally hit the primary care provider jackpot!
