The best samosas my husband and I have ever had and we've had lots. The coating was crispy and light and the stuffing was generous. We had 2 vegetable samosas and 2 beef samosas. I only have pictures of the beef samosas, because after eating my share of the vegetable samosas I knew I needed to yelp about this restaurant. If you like to taste, consider flavors, and discuss spices, try this place. We also had the chicken biryani and the goat/lamb biryani. Great for me, but too spicy for my husband. He was given some plain yogurt and will ask for mild spice next time. The chicken was cooked bone-in and was wonderfully moist with loads of flavor. The owners are gracious and considerate. So I stumbled across this place looking for a cafe that turned out to be closed on Sunday. This place was nearby, and open for lunch; the parking lot area for this restaurant was pretty busy too. A quick glance at the Calgary location Yelp reviews were also very promising too so we decided to give it a go. I really like how there's was plenty of booster seats & high chairs, & there's 4 washrooms with a couple bring wheelchair accessible & having change table. All the seating is booth style, keeping it comfortable, but some booths also being able to seat larger groups of 10 which is great for larger families. There's also plenty of space to park a wheelchair or stroller inside. There's not a whole lot of character with the decor and a slight language barrier, but it was a pleasant dining experience overall. The staff were friendly & hospitable. We weren't able to dine off the regular menu so I can't really speak to it or about kid options; but it was explained to us that it was a special time & there was only a vegetarian meal or beef curry being offered then. We tried them both & portion was pretty good for cost... enough to feed 2 adults and 2 small kids with no leftovers. It was a touch too spicy for my kids who have absolutely no heat tolerance, and I have a weak tolerance to spicy foods, but I still found it to have a balanced amount of heat. There's some spicy condiments at each table too, so you can adjust to your liking. I really liked the naan which was crisp yet soft. Something different here is that water pitchers are prefilled at your table & you can serve yourself with the provided disposable plastic cups. The vegetarian dish was also served in a takeout container too. I don't think I've had Pakistani food before, so this was a nice introduction & I'd like to go back to try the regular menu too. read more

Some of the worst service I have ever encountered. The food wasn't bad but was downplayed by the absolutely horrific service. The waitress gave my group plastic cups whilst everyone else within the restaurant received proper glasses. The waitress yelled at us when we asked for more water and in summary left a poor taste in our mouth throughout the entire experience. Would give 0 stars if I could, definitely will not be back. read more

The place is in the middle of an industrial area although not too far from some of the neighborhoods. I browsed through the buffet spread and I should say it's a meat lovers delight. There were at least 5 or 6 variants of chicken and beef dishes. For vegetarians, there was the chickpeas and the dal. There was nice Indo-Pakistani music playing in the background, the bass was a little on the higher side for my preference. I ordered a chicken wrap and asked it to be made spicy. It came really nicely wrapped with some excellent fries. In fact the wrap was too tightly wrapped with two layers of paper that it was quite a struggle towards the end to get to the food. Anyway, there was quite a good amount of chicken as well as fresh veggies and the dressing was quite nice with adequate spice and a tinge if sweetness. Needless to say I enjoyed this quick lunch and look forward to trying out their buffet one day. read more

Yaa. Another place for lunch by where I work. I had the fish platter for lunch. When it came it was much bigger and nicer than the menu description. It came with the fish, fries. Salad, and rice, with a flavored mayo in the center to dip into. All the components were good. Only complaint is the water they gave me tasted a bit weird. And bit too much food for lunch. The decor seems like a work in progress. They have fridges set up so you look at the back of the fridge from where you eat. I will be back for lunch several times. read more

Terrible services. Non professional staff. Owners are lier. They never honor Groupon Coupon. Food was OK. Only two dishes were stale food. Looklike, some food was leftover from few days ago. Not fresh Tea as well, it was thermostat or microwave. Will never go again. I requested owner to cancel the promo of Groupon so no other customer get cheated. The food here was very greasy, and the flavor was nothing like what I've come to expect with authentic Pakistani food. My friend and I had halwa puri and Paya with naan. The naan was undercooked and flavorless. Naan is my favorite part of going to a restaurant, so this was a major disappointment. The puri was greasy and chewy- not puffy and flaky. The puri was just sugar and flour- no other spice detectable. On top of all this, none of the staff were wearing any face covering and very minimal consessions to covid requirements are visible.
