This doctor was not compassionate when I was getting EMG testing and nerve conduction studies. I kept asking him when the procedure would be over as the procedures were very painful. He never answered me. I saw that he is also a psychiatrist. You'd think he would have tried to console me as I was very upset. He didn't say, "hold on, you'll get through this" or "I'm sorry, it's almost over" or "I know this is hard but we'll get through this together" He just watched me struggle and said nothing comforting. He did try to get my mind off it by asking stupid questions unrelated to the procedures. I'll give him that. I won't ever go back. If I'm referred to him again, I'll ask for a different doctor. I was mislead by his technician who said the procedures would be easily tolerable. It was truly a traumatizing experience. read more

I saw the reviews for the Neuro Center so was unsure of what to expect but I had a wonderful experience. I have been having lower back pain and was referred to get a nerve conduction study done. I was able to get an appointment quickly as there was a cancellation which was awesome. The ladies at the front desk were amazing. Very personable and kind... they even took the time to answer questions over the phone with me prior to my appointment. Dr. Boutros was professional and walked me through everything he was doing. He kept checking in to make sure I was ok throughout the testing as well. While the test itself wasn't exactly comfortable (which is to be expected based on what the test is) I am very grateful I was able to get the test done and that I had such a great team of people working with me. read more

I love Dr. Boutros! I have a head tremor and he gave me Botox for a few years and migraines medicine before that. I had kids to raise and get through school. Botox was so expensive. $1000-1500?? I don't remember but a lot. I could not justify the cost for a head tremor When my kids needs to be raised and gotten through school. I am going back now that my kids are raised! read more

Weird and horrible experience. Waited for over an hour to get called in for the exam. Dr walked in and right away was just arrogant and sarcastic. I attempted to "play along" just thinking he was attempting humor to keep me calm, but the experience got progressively creepier. I asked him to explain what the procedure was and what it would diagnose. He did not answer the question and just responded with sarcastic deflection. He then basically hooked me up to a machine and started shocking me like something out of a horror/torture movie and yelling at me for moving when he shocked me. After 20 minutes I said I was done and walked out. I have been having nightmares about the experience since. As I walked out the receptionist said, "we will bill your insurance". I have to say the office staff was extremely friendly, helpful as well as very funny. Dr. Boutros explained everything I was going to experience, giving me a heads up about what may hurt. He was very professional as well as personable and quite funny too. We had an interesting conversation during the total exam. I am shocked of what other's have posted about him or his staff. So I've been trying to make an appt. Since early October only to leave messages for call backs. ( and I have staff names) And one one to return a courtesy call back. I know we are in different times regarding Dr. Visits. No excuse for no call backs. So today I call in to see where we are on my appt. So they say oh we were just going yo call you today. Mmmmm So I'm told I'm being cancelled due to Cancellations or reschedules. One thing for sure because of the seriousness of these appts. I made sure and attended my appts. on time. I know for sure I had reschedule's due to their rescheduling but not on my end. And they went on how many there were, which is totally false. The Office Mgr. was very rude talking over me. Dr. Boutros did an excellent job in alleviating my anxiety during my neuro test. His bedside banter was personable and really helped in distracting all the needles/electrodes being put in my body. I even had a few laughs in there which caused him to redo some tests :) I totally would recommend him if you needed any neuro test performed on you. read more

But the hour wait was worth my time, it gave me the opportunity to look up the reviews on the place. 1.7 STAR ratings speaks for itself, I wasn't surprised!!!! I hate to judge anyone on their looks but I don't think it's very professional to be working the front desk at a Dr's. office with your pink hair thrown up in a clip like you had no time to do it this morning, at least put a fake smile on you snotty face and pretend to be nice "JUSTINE"!!! So after waiting and researching for almost an hour, they called my grandmothers name up at the front desk to tell us that they were gonna have to reschedule her appointment because they couldn't get her medical records from her primary Dr. They said the Dr wouldn't see her without them, that makes me wonder if the Dr would base his findings or diagnosis off of someone else's notations and not his own, but I can't say for sure since we never seen him today! I had an appointment with Dr. Boutros this morning. I must admit I was nervous not knowing what to expect. I showed up on time, and filled out all the paperwork. As soon as Dr. Boutros entered the room he was very abrupt. He proceeded to hookup probes to my leg. Never explaining or reassuring about what was to happen. Upon the electricty enter me I jumped . As the test continued I was in more pain and moving around more. I could not control myself . Again, Dr. Boutros was not reassuring, and scolded me. I told him I don't think this is going to work. This is the rudest office I have ever dealt with. I called to make an appointment for my daughter and I spoke with the receptionist, she could not find my daughters referral then she did and we booked the appointment she then proceeded to tell me I had to get all my daughters records and I responded oh I have never had to do that I am doing the running around ok, I confirmed the fax and we were done.I must have hurt her feelings because a few minutes later she called to tell me they were cancelling her appointment because she didn't like the way I talked to her , I asked to speak to her boss, Lori who was rude proceeded to tell me they cancelled my appointment and told my daughters primary we are not welcomed there. Dr. Boutros has been my neurologist for many years and this is primarily because of his vast knowledge and willingness to "go the extra mile" to correctly diagnose my issues. His caring demeanor is a welcome change from the majority of doctors, today, who may give you a 15 minute quick diagnosis that only leads to more medication and limited options. My experience seems to be different than others. Dr. Boutros was extremely nice, ordered my MRIs immediately and committed to getting the insurance to approve the requests. He's very well groomed and has a great sense of humor. His office staff was friendly and didn't give me a hard time about being late and filling out the paperwork shoddily. 10-25-2019 I recently had an appointment to see Dr. Boutros regarding nerve issues in my hands. I had no difficulty setting up an appointment. Upon arriving at his office, I checked in without any difficulty. Staff was very cordial. They (she) explained what the process was and directed me to take a seat to wait for the technician. With little wait, the tech took me to a room where she started her end of the procedure. She was very polite and talked me through the process. She said the doctor would be in soon to complete the procedure. Dr. Boutros arrived shortly thereafter. He was very pleasant and made me feel comfortable. He engaged in conversation to distract me from the placement of the needles in various locations on my hands and arms. He would warn me that I might experience a brief moment of uncomfortable sting/pain. He was direct and not evasive. The entire appointment took about an hour, which was to be expected from a complicated procedure. I had originally had my doubts based on other reviews, which I do not dismiss, as everyone's experience is their own. However, I did want to pass along to others that my experience was positive, and not what I had been lead to expect. read more

Run. Run. Run. Don't go to this doctor. This is one the most unprofessional clinics I have ever seen. 1- The reception staff are very rude and unhelpful. 2- They very rarely answer their phone. When you leave a message they don't return your call even though they say in the message that they will. When you go to the office and you tell them that you left numerous messages they say they never got them. Give me a break, I know how things work. 3- You come for an appointment on time and they keep you waiting for over an hour. This happened to me and my wife several times. Why? Our time in not valuable? 4- The doctor comes in without any documents or anything that indicates he is following your case. He works out of memory. You are expected to remind him of your case. 5- The doctor spends minutes with you then he hurriedly leaves. You are left not knowing what had happened. 6- When you leave, you have to sit and wait for the "kindness" of the staff so they give you your prescription or make your next appointment. Dr. Boutros did an outstanding job during my nerve test. His has a great sense of humor, is extremely knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. Went above and beyond what I expected and took the time to explain the tests, my medical conditions and answer my questions. I highly recommend him as he is an excellent doctor. The world could use more doctors of his caliber! I am so grateful to him as he shed some light into my condition and even referred me to a great neurologist who can help me. H. O. R. R. I. B. L. E!!! Absolutely awful experience!!! My first appointment ran two hours late. But I understood because doctors are busy. I felt okay about my interaction with the doctor but his office staff was very rough and short. Several patients who were waiting talked amongst themselves and said how he always ran late and we should expect that every visit. I was given several referrals and thought I had completed them enough to get my results. I set a second appointment and when I arrived was turned away because I had failed to complete one of the 4 other referral appointments I was given. I was disappointed because I really wanted to see the doctor and get my results, but again understood. I then left to make my other test appointment and unfortunately could not complete it because of COVID. I was told I had to wait several months. So I did. Now that things are opening up I went to revisit my referral, but it had expired. I called my insurance company who referred me to call the original specialist, Dr. Boutros, back for another request. I then called Dr. Boutros office and was told too bad you didn't get your appointments completed. We didn't stop working because of COVID. There are only 2 of us here, we aren't going to request another referral because you didn't make your appointment. Call your primary doctor and ask him. Regardless of how I tried to explain I had tried to complete the task but because of COVID I couldn't, Laurie only got meaner and more rude. I was told if my primary care doctor wouldn't request the referral then I could call back and be put in a pile of things to do. I told her I could not believe the way she treated patients. Both Laurie and Crystal stood strong refusing to help and repeatedly blaming me for being a difficult patient. I tried to explain again, I made i mistake and misunderstood the one sleep study, but that i had completed the other mri, blood work and sleep deprivation study. They do not care! My husband WAS a new patient and was supposed to get injections for his migraines. Once my husband got there, he was told he could not get his injections if he didn't have CASH to pay for his $12 co-pay. My wife recently had an MRI in which they detected a pituitary adenoma. Her physician referred us to Dr. Boutros. I'll say this: If their phone interactions are any indication of how this office--and I'm using the term loosely here--"functions," then I'd do my best to avoid this place. We had several interactions with a very surly individual over the phone, who ultimately told us that Dr. Boutros "wouldn't touch our case," without any clear indication of why or why not, just the same surly person stonewalling us on everything.
