At my first visit I found shell peas and the latest visit wax beans and kale. I find the prices in line with the grocery store, with the big differentiator being the fact that a lot of the produce in this store was in dirt the day before!

We appreciate the smaller, local style atmosphere which was very friendly as the management seemed happy to answer any questions we had regarding their popular "alitas de pollo" :-) Local, range fed and about as organic as you can get at a reasonable price. It's open Wednesdays from 3-7pm, a few Saturdays as well. You can stop by after work, get good groceries AND have dinner there while listening to some live music. Recently, Activia yogurt was on sale so I got some...not realizing it's the funky grain stuff. Opened it to find little fancy brown chunks in my yogurt. Had the texture of sandpaper & literally tasted like vanilla flavored ASS. Choked it down (cuz it's good for me). The fiber content has given me so much gas, my butt is composing it's own symphony, and my system is being cleared out like it's being excavated. Holy I am never buying this yogurt again. ...but I will continue to shop here as the people are nice. Wish they'd given me the heads up on this yogurt though.
