First of all Mac and Cheese pie is amazing. You should just order that to make sure you've truly lived. If you are ok with meat, there is a bacon lattice. If you're veggie inclined you get two sides - woots all around are called for with that. Lucky for you it's available lunch and dinner. I reluctantly tried the veggie pie once (to challenge myself) and it was also good and something I would love to order but I felt sad I didn't eat Mac and Cheese pie... so I guess I have my regular here. We tried brunch recently. The cure is freakin' HUGE and I can't believe someone would order that much food knowing the portion. I'm a food stealer and my husband has a hefty appetite and he openly encouraged the stealing because he was so full. He is in love with biscuits and gravy though but will likely order a more reasonable size meal next time. I throughly enjoyed my chocolate french toast and am looking forward to banana cream waffles sometime soon... mmmmm. And I've gotten this far without mentioning the sweet pies.... well... they are also great. After much deliberation, I opted for the traditional raspberry - when you're dropping $6.50 on a small jar of jam, I tend to go with the tried and true. The jam was fresh and citrusy. Definitely more tart than store bought - tastes like it's got alot less sugar, which is always a good thing. It's lighter and keeps you coming back for more. This little jar isn't going to last long, so I guess I'm heading back to the Market next weekend!

It's definitely not enough for four people with an appetite and there's no way I'd spend another $10 for extra. Call me frugal but if anything, it's is a nice treat if you want to make a delicious and plentiful meal for two. We ate the Sweet Chili Lime sausage and it was flavorful enough that I didn't feel the need to use any sauce. I was told this is one of their most popular sausages and I can see why. It's not hot or salty, just tasty. Next to no grease is definitely a bonus. I look forward to slowly making my way through their extensive menu.

Took a break for lunch and decided to try the dessert waffles here. Food: I ordered the strawberry waffle and it is simply delicious. The ingredients are fresh and the waffle was fluffy. Everything was correctly portioned and balanced well. Although it was a simple dish, they sure executed it well here. I will return to try their savory dishes. Value: fairly good price for the portions you are getting. Best to share the dessert with a group, unless you are me.

It seems to be a common conclusion that any place without a lineup must have something wrong with it. Stop thinking that way. You end up waiting in long line ups and often miss food that will hit the spot otherwise. Simply Good Eats is simply... well, good! Burgers, sandwiches, waffles... it's a varied menu with a little something for everyone. I ordered a mushroom burger and a vitamin water. The burger was one of the daily lunch specials and came with fries. With the vitamin water, it was all less than $10 and made fresh to order. The table numbers are rather ingenious too. To avoid a slough of people waiting around the counter, Simply Good Eats has helium balloons attached to a little post, each with a number on it. You take your seat and put the balloon on the counter. When it's ready, it's brought out to you... the floating balloon makes you easy to spot!
