Ordered the 3 piece set which came with fries, toast and a drink it was tasty but overhyped. This particular location felt like the Disney store with all the merch on sale. The staff were super friendly and would get us whatever we needed.

I believe this is a new Cane's location that opened up in Santa Monica since it seems so new. I got the 3 finger combo with a side of coleslaw and it was pretty good! The chicken fingers were thick and juicy, not dry at all. Of course I love dipping them in the side of Cane sauce for richness and flavor. I know some locations tend to have dry chicken, so I hope they stay consistent. The coleslaw was a nice and fresh addition to the meal. Fries were good as well. The interior seems pretty clean so far with bathrooms available. A cheap meal option if you're ever in the Santa Monica area!

Finally - people from Red States who dare travel more than 50 miles from their small town have a safe space in Santa Monica. This place even has multiple security officers to keep people safe from the "scary" streets of Santa Monica - assuming of course dude can get off his phone long enough to protect if needed. The only good thing about this place is the staff. They are friendly, they are hard working and I appreciate them. Now let's talk about why this place is absolute trash. CEO Todd Graves is worth $22 Billion dollars. Yet his hard working employees are forbidden from taking tips. Todd Graves is worth $22 billion because he robs employees blind and he is far more vile than the bland chicken he serves. The chicken here is bland bland bland. Cardboard has more flavor. The fries are boring and charging more for a lemonade than you charge for soda is again proof that CEO Todd Graves deserves (censored). Oh and a porta potty has more ambiance than this place. You're not fooling anyone with the Dodgers posters and crappy Doors vinyl on the walls. At least have the guts to own that you're the worst fast food chicken from Louisiana I can't wait for this place which has already admitted it's here more to advertise the brand than serve the community to cut their losses and leave. This place is absolutely terrible

The food was bland nothing special. A tables wasn't being cleaned by staff. Then you have to pay for a lemonade refill.

I can't believe one opened up in Santa Monica! Even when it was really busy, I was able to get my order in a decent amount of time! I guess I know where I'm gonna eat every time I drop by the Pier! The 3 piece combo will always be a hit for me! It's been a few days and I'm STILL craving for the combo!

Food came out fast, but the chicken tenders were undercooked and the Texas Toast wasn't crispy either.

Since I was in the neighborhood, I picked up 2 small sandwiches (chicken parmigiana and meatball)…read morefor an early dinner tonight. Both my husband and I will share them both and we probably won't be able to finish them because even though they're small, they are jampacked with flavor, protein, and delicious deliciousness! And the bread is so yummy and crusty!!! I'm a big fan-and have been forever! AND I also wanted to go because it's their hundred years of being in business celebration!!!! I support small businesses especially on the WESTSIDE! Plenty of parking and wonderful people behind the counters!!! And the manager is an old friend by now :))) Highly recommend and I suggest you don't go at lunchtime when it's really crowded ... shop when it first opens between nine and 11...that is a good time and after the lunch rush and/or after 2pm.

I'd been wanting to try this place for awhile, after seeing so many others rate it online and on…read moresocial media. The hype was worth it. What looks like an intimidating ordering situations was actually really easy. I think I was expecting a NYC style service counter where you get yelled at if you don't know exactly what you want, but the staff was so nice and helpful. My wife and I split the whole turkey sub with mild peppers and American cheese, no pickles. The bread was great--a little on the crusty side, but otherwise very flavorful. All of the veggies and meat were very fresh, and the experience was cool over all. You grab a ticket at the counter, wait for them to call your number, then you order and step back while they make yours and a handful of others at the same time. I grabbed some chips and drinks while I waited, which only took 5 minutes or so, then paid at the front (cash or debit only) and enjoyed our lunch at one of the outdoor tables. I'll definitely be back to try the meatball sub, which I eyed somebody else eating and immediately wanted a taste. I'll probably grab a turkey sub, too, while I'm at it.

From the outside to walking in the front door, the decor and feel in HiHo says fancy burger joint…read more The inside is as minimal as their menu, but the mood is set by a lot of dark brown and stained wood which is a good thing. What surprised me was the prices but more on that later. The menu is streamlined and the choices are few. What HiHo does offer is simple done correctly. The Waygu beef is fresh and they do not over season the burger. They let the natural goodness of a quality beef patty do all the talking. There is plenty of flavor but the burger is not overly greasy. The buns are made in house, as well as the pickles and they both deliver. I love a burger with shredded lettuce. The French fries are prepared fresh and cooked to perfection for my taste. I like my fries slightly crispy and a little dark. They showed up well done and almost too hot to eat. I tried their in house sauce called "Matty Sauce" and still don't know how to feel about it. It was explained to me as their version of thousand island but there was an after taste to the sauce I still can't describe. I decided I didn't care for the sauce but never stopped dipping my fries in it. So in the end, I guess I ended up liking it? I feel you will either really like it, or really dislike it. I tried both the chocolate and vanilla shakes and preferred the vanilla. The shakes are made with house made ice cream and serve their purpose. I liked the fact they have a dispenser just for water and ice. Overall I say drop what you are doing and go get a HiHo Double. The most amazing thing about this burger is its simplicity and freshness. Two things that are often overlooked and/or not well done. If you want bells and whistles go elsewhere. If you want a really, really fresh and well made burger at In N Out prices, HiHo delivers.
