Stopped by here on a Saturday morning, and it was pretty crowded, but the service was still friendly and pretty well-paced. I tried the grilled chicken ranch BLT and my friend tried the original. Both were delicious! Highly recommend if you are in the mood for chicken! My only issue would be that since they're so busy, the tables are pretty dirty. We were recently at the pier and the kids were getting hungry. The lines were too long and the kids aren't seafood fans. So we headed over to 3rd street in search of some different options. We passed by this place and it looked inviting. So we gave it a try. Inside is a decent amount of seating. Even during the dinner rush we were able to find a table. It was pretty clean considering its location and the amount of foot traffic. The staff shined. Very helpful and willing to explain to options to us. The kids kept changing their minds about the sauces and the staff was patient through that process. As to the food, the chicken was moist and juicy. The flavor on the chicken fingers is a bit different than your typical Canes or chicken finger joint. It has a more herbs and spices. The adults enjoyed the flavor but it was a bit strong for the kids. The kids chicken nugget meal though was fantastic. The waffle fries stole the show. Crispy, hot and delicious. And a great value. I always appreciate a good breakfast burrito. Especially when it's not like everyone else's breakfast burrito. And this place has a good, and somewhat different, breakfast burrito. For starters, unlike most places, Bruxie's eggs are fried (over medium, too). And it was a good fried egg. Second, included in your choices of "protein" is fried chicken. And the fried chicken is, independent of the breakfast burrito, really good. As if that wasn't enough, it also has cheese sauce and spiced tots. My only "complaint" - and "complaint" is in quotes because it's not much of one -- is that the tortilla wasn't as tortilla-ish as I would've liked. It was a little lavash-ish. Not enough to ruin it in any way, but if you're a breakfast burrito purist... As for the place itself, it was clean, had indoor-ish and outdoor seating (it's right on the promenade), and the staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. Also, being the Third Street Promenade, the parking garages are free for 90 minutes, which is more than enough time to get a breakfast burrito. And an iced coffee. Questionable customer service.. We came home after ordering a super Kluss and grilled chicken ranch sandwich and we came home and the super clucks did not have our bacon and egg. Our server was Natalie and we called the store to speak with her who we were able to speak with a manager by the name of Alex. He said we would be refunded and it never came. I never try to fault servers for mistakes and we should have double checked our order before leaving, but mistakes happen on both ends! I think what made this a bitter experience was that they said they were going to fix the mistake and did not customer service is a huge attribute that makes people come again The ambiance was not busy at the time we came & the location was clean. I think the food is good, and I enjoyed my chicken waffle sandwich that also came with an egg. All the ingredients went well together. But it became hard to enjoy the meal when we kept having to deal with homeless individuals coming in and just thrashing the place. They don't even just sit; they literally just trash the place or get into arguments with the staff. Made enjoying my meal very hard. One homeless lady came in and just sat down and tried to put her cans into a bag she asked the front desk for. Turned out those cans were stolen from the store next door. We know this because the manager from next door came and confronted her in the restaurant. The lady responded by slapping the manager, all this while next to us. Staff did nothing but watch, and it was just all uncomfortable all around. I can't say these are the kind of shows I enjoy with my lunch. -_- On the plus side, the strawberry shake is good! There is actually a slight scent of urine is the restaurant as well near the black mat, so maybe they should change that out. They forgot our coke and since I didn't get the receipt, I had to pay over $4 again. My first bill was $33 for a burrito and a sandwich with two drinks-I forgot to just pull up my payment on my phone. We also ALWAYS order the large Angry Mac and Cheese with bacon and chives which is shareable between 2 people.( Mac and cheese is amazing!!!!!) They also have different items on the menu to choose from but those are always our go to. For a restaurant on 2nd street promenade you should be ashamed. Large room but doesn't have toilet paper and messy all around... The staff also doesn't seem to knowledgeable on the foodstuffs.
